Mines is at 10:30 moo so similar times! Yeah, likewise with my DH. I think he sometimes thinks I'm mad but he just doesn't quite understand the worry us women go through - we carry them so I feel fully responsible which is daft in a way. Plus, with the hormones, it's a bloody recipe for disaster!! Haha!

Moo31 · 27/06/2017 23:04

I am totally with you on that - I hate saying you don't understand" as it's not their fault but they just can't fully understand what we are thinking / feeling! Eek let us know how it goes! 😀

BellaMoon · 28/06/2017 06:58

my DH says that my new "go to" sentence in answer to everything i'm asked to do is "i'm growing a human being, give me a break"! now i admit to this but only when he's asking me to move something particularly heavy (he asked me to put out the glass bottle bin - actual!) or something really taxing like make a cuppa #guiltyascharged #itsacondition #notanillness

@Ohb0llocks how did you get on? hoping you're ok xx

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 07:14

Oh yes @Bella I'm guilty of that too - why should I make the tea / clean the bathroom / etc - I'm busy making a baby! Or when he says he's tired or he didn't sleep well ... the rage inside me Lol! Poor men they have it tough 😂

bakingmad83 · 28/06/2017 08:06

Hope you're doing ok ohb0llolcks, how was your appointment?

Ohb0llocks · 28/06/2017 08:43

I'm fine just shattered! Didn't get home until 3:30.

They swabbed for waters etc but nothing there just discharge, listened into him and he was fine kicking the monitor off. Only thing they could find was a blood trace in my urine so they're thinking uti! Checked cervix too and it's nice and closed so they ruled out any preterm labour.

I would've got home sooner but they all had to dash off because a lady had given birth on the car park!

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 10:18

@ohb I read 1am as 1pm and thought your appointment was this afternoon. Glad it all went ok! :)

Dollydaydream2829 · 28/06/2017 10:21

Glad everything went OK ohb - no wonder you're tired.

I made the dreaded mistake and peed before I left for my appt. Cue..... an emergency dash to asda for water!!

@Dolly at my 12 week they told me not to come to this one with a full bladder so don't panic! 😊

bakingmad83 · 28/06/2017 12:27

Glad everything was fine at your appointment ohb0llocks :) Hopefully you can catch up with your sleep tonight, does your son sleep through?

How did your scans go Moo and Dolly?

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 12:33

Dollydaydream2829 · 28/06/2017 12:54

Awww that's a lovely scan moo

My scan also went well! Baby is growing healthy and well. On the smaller side normal in terms of the measurements but I'm hoping that may mean I may be lucky enough to have a normal sized baby at delivery instead of the 10lber I had in my nightmares!! Haha!

I also have an anterior placenta which I'm taking comfort from in the fact I've not felt any movement really.

I don't have a pic yet to send but I'll send it tonight!

Anna2006 · 28/06/2017 13:35

Oh lovely scan Moo. Wow look how much they grow. Neither of you found out sex then?

So glad things are okay @ohbollocks. These pesky babies always making us worry.

I've changed my scan to next Monday where I'll be 9 weeks so hopefully they might be a bit more to see. Nervous hoping that there is something in there at least 😬

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 14:49

@Dolly - so glad yours went well! :) It is so amazing isn't it?! I can't wait to see your scan pic :) Also on the smaller side in terms of percentile measurements - averaging around 25th ish percentile but I was thinking the same as you - a normal sized baby delivery lol!! I think I was a wee 5lb-er when I was born and I am still tiny at only 5foot so it's looking like baby might take after me!!

@Anna - that's great, I am sure you can't wait, it will be lovely :) At 9 weeks there should be lots to see. Can't wait to hear about it!

Roseandbee · 28/06/2017 15:57

aww glad the scans went well!
Lovely pic moo:) and im looking fwd to seeing yours dolly.

Anna I was going to get private scan at 8 weeks but then decided it was too early, was away for week 9, so got 10 weeks, hope youll also be sharing the pic, they are so exciting to see. At 9 weeks you may be able to see some movement i did at 10 and that makes it even more real

glad everythings ok ohb:)

dont suppose anyone else has found out their blood group is rhesus or D negative? it means i'll have to have some anti D injections later in pregnancy. my blood group is B- which is 2nd rarest, was reading where negative blood groups come from and found out that I much more likely to be abducted by aliens, had to wear a tinfoil hat to bed last night haha

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 16:25

Lol @Bella! They would soon bring you back I think!!!

My cousin had it and said its nothing to worry about - just a little injection she said. I haven't had the results of my 12 week blood test - which according to community m/w means I am not -ve as they would have told me.

Anna2006 · 28/06/2017 17:06

I hadn't a friend who was rhesus negative an she just needed injections every so often an if She ever had any bleeding. To stop it crossing the placenta or something. It affects a second pregnancy. Not this current one. Strange isn't it. But least there on it an can give you what you need.

Got my scan letter through post today. 1st August. So by my dates I will be exactly 13 weeks. Least it wasn't any later I guess. Hopefully if all of well on Monday I can wait it out 😊

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 17:22

That's great Anna! Great to have a solid date to focus on! :)

BellaMoon · 28/06/2017 17:46

aww @Moo31 love it! can we all guess gender please please please? honestly i stare at scan pics for ages as i find them fascinating! congrats xx

@Dollydaydream2829 come on mrs, let's see!

@Roseandbee i have been told all my life that i have o- blood which i believe is the rarest (could be wrong) so i told the midwife this and she tested and it came back as a+. where the feck my dad got this info from who knows. he definitely is o- so maybe it was the aliens that told him hahaha

@Anna2006 great news on the scan date! it will fly in (even tho you think it's dragging)!! but even better that you'll see baby at 9 weeks. i had early scan at 8 so it was just a wee bean but so good to then compare to 12wks scan

Moo31 · 28/06/2017 18:07

Lol Bella that's funny!!! Guess away on the gender! You've a 50/50 chance of getting it right! 😂 xo

BellaMoon · 28/06/2017 18:28

ok fab. i say boy @Moo31 💙

2weeks today til my gender scan. i'm so frigging excited! DH has totally calmed right down with "my boy/son" chat. thank fook! the pressure was nipping at me!

Roseandbee · 28/06/2017 18:35

Yeah i think without any intervention I could have one baby naturally but my body would reject the second baby if I don't have the shot. Bella I remember my dad used to give blood quite frequently so I'm guessing he was something negative as they rely on people with rarer blood to donate. O- is the most useful blood I think as it can be given to anyone. feel free to guess mine, I'll be finding out soon as I did NIPT, haven't decided wether I'll tell other people the sex straight away though, I like people guessing.
Moo I think I'm going to go with boy again for my guess
What's your latest scan pic Bella?

Anna I'll be almost 13 weeks too, good to have a date now

BellaMoon · 28/06/2017 19:04

aw @Roseandbee i want to say boy 💙 for you too! have you any inclination 1 way or the other?

my scan pic attached for you to have a guess!

these last few days iv been so emotional that i think it could be a girl as i have way too many female hormones running around haha!

PMA Grads Thread :-)
Dollydaydream2829 · 28/06/2017 19:20

Here's my scan pic ladies! Sorry for the delay! Feel free to guess away too! I'm convinced it's a boy but who knows!

Moo I'm gonna go boy for you too!

OP posts:
Roseandbee · 28/06/2017 19:28

I'm gonna go girl for you Bella
Me and DH think girl, DH just thought it wriggled like a girl on the scan, something about a little kick s/he did, made him be like that's def a girl. Where as I'm funny because I kind of had inklings every month whilst ttc, about what sex I'd end up with if I got bfp, the month before all I could think was boy, but bfp month it switched to girl.

I got a spam phone call earlier, I got told during my NIPT test if there's a problem they wud ring if not they'd email, so now I'm scared of my phone. But I've read from other people doing the test at same place I have that they get phoned either way:-/ I'm wondering if they meant a problem in terms of my blood sample wasn't suitable not with the baby.
