Lydia joys of being a curvy girl. But it's definitely a small hard bump now. Probably why it was so painful yesterday

I bought a doppler tonight from amazon. It's coming tomorrow!
@ew1990 .you skin has been horrific. I'm even breaking out on my neck. Current in bed with sudcream all over!

Is anyone else's hips and pelvic bones really sore? Unless I'm lying flat taking the weight off the area I'm really aching, sitting upright is really uncomfortable bare in mind I'm only 10 weeks, surely it's too early for spd or pgp?

At night when I lie down they hurt Jessie and my stomach feels so uncomfortable at night with all the bloating! Squiggle I've got some on my neck but not that noticeable, my expensive concealer don't cover the ones on my face, when does the glowing start? X

Oh my goodness. My doppler arrived just as I walked through the door. I couldn't wait so nervously tried it (after watching a youtube tutorial) and there was the little cantering heartbeat right away. Amazing.

I couldn't find baby heartbeat today when my mum and sister wanted to listen to it, clearly my baby does not like to perform and was hiding 😂 I'm sure they think I didn't really hear it yesterday and am making it up, I did try to explain you can't find it all the time!

@Squiggle that's great! How far on are you? Did you get an angel sounds one too?

It was brilliant! Ingot the anapulse one from Amazon, the angel sounds one had better reviews but I thought this one looked easier to use I'm 11w 5days @Moo31 12w scan on Monday but I couldn't wait.
A word of warning if you're a worrier, I tried to let my husband listen about half an hour ago and I couldn't find it at all. Naughty baby!

Full and bloated and feeling fat overall.

Going to Japan for two wks a week on Monday which will be weeks 10 and 11. Kind of regretting not getting an early private scan for peace of mind before we go but guessing too late to organise now?!!

Lydia check baby bond / ultrasound direct I think we booked ours just over a week before!

Thanks squiggle! I think I'll go for my 12 week scan on wed and then order one if all is ok! I can't wait until all these 12 week scam pics start getting posted! :)

I've got my 12 week scan on Thursday although will be 12w6d by that point - guess it's a busy time for the scanning dept in my area x

Thanks guys! Not sure I will be able to fit in scan pre-holiday so will have to wait until 17th May and keep fingers crossed. No reason to be worried that I'm aware of so just got to keep PMA :)

Hello I'm new here! Im 10+2 and only seeing the midwife at almost 12 no scan booked yet and I'm really worried. Would getting a doppler ease my anxiety?? I had a private scan at 7 weeks

Hi @bubba congrats! I had a private scam at 7 weeks too - I found it v reassuring. I have my 12 week scan on Wed (I'll be 11+5) and am going to hold off until after that to get a doppler as I would just panic if I couldn't find the heartbeat.

Thanks @Moo31 when did you get the date for the scan? Im worried i wont be able to take the time off work last minute and havent told my work yet.

I've had no scan yet and will be 11+6 at my 12 wks can, just keeping everything crossed!!

@Bubba I got my letter last Saturday with my date, i had seen my gp a week and a half before that. I've had ent issues in the past so I'm just telling work its another ent app and will then reveal all afterwards! A wee white lie won't hurt them and they'll understand. Can you say it's a long dental app to get a few fillings done etc?

Yeah I'll just have to make something up. I've got a midwife appointment and endocrine (thyroid) at the hospital which I've taken as holiday already so it didn't look suspicious!

Just wanted to pop on to say hi and to show you all my new ring! I bought it yesterday and it's my little reminder 😀 it's so pretty! I don't know if any of you have heard of qudo rings, they sell them in this shop in my town and they are like charm bracelets but rings, you buy a band and then can interchange all the toppers, they screw on and off! There are hundreds of different toppers! They're not real precious metal, my ring cost £20 for the band and £21 for the topper. I just wanted to show you all coz they're so pretty! Gonna get new toppers for birthdays and Christmas and of course when I finally have my rainbow baby 😍 feeling really good this weekend.
