And me!! I'm on holiday at the moment and am feeling a bit miserable, I'm constipated and it's really uncomfortable, I feel like DH doesn't get it and thinks I'm just whinging! It can be quite lonely

tmc14 · 20/05/2017 10:24

LionQueen - god yes, the constipation is driving me insane! Have never had it before and it's so horrid :-(

lydiangel83 · 20/05/2017 10:32

I feel the same too! DH is lovely but doesn't give me the reaction I want every time I moan about something (which is frequent)). And a number of my close friends don't have kids and so I don't want to appear high maintenance / moany to them.

I'm also being stubborn about not doing things because I'm pregnant. I have had a fever / headache for last few days but refused to leave BIL birthday drinks early last night and have hen do today. I think it's just tiredness/ jetlag/ horrible week at work rather than a serious bug but am feeling lousy. Just don't want to be considered 'lame' for dropping out of things (which I'm sure I wouldn't and is all in my head but you know!)

lydiangel83 · 20/05/2017 10:35

Oh and constipation on holiday was awful :( made my tummy so painful.

Still, extremely grateful for all these experiences xx

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 20/05/2017 11:25

Quick question at airport can I wear compressions stockings over my leggings? 🙈

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 20/05/2017 11:53

I managed to get them under 👌

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 12:33

Ladies - thank you so much. Reassuring to know it's not just me! Oh does his best but as u say @lion the reaction I get is "I'm sure it's nothing to worry about" - not exactly sure what reaction I DO want but it isn't that one lol. That you all!

For those asking about cushions I've used one since I first found out I cannot have my knees touching each other lol it's similar to this but has a curve in it and for some strange reason oh has had it for years - he says he got it from Argos for support when he was sitting in bed watching tv (whats he like!) This one looks good for a tenner!

Quick question - does anyone know if zika is in Spain (Benidorm)? Been bitten and now can't stop worrying lol

mrsjkerry · 21/05/2017 12:45

@Victoriaaaaaaaa no I don't think it is. I wouldn't worry

@mrsjkerry thank you! I would have thought it would have been on the news or something if it was! Got boots repellent but aparebtky can't wear it unless over 6 months pregnant 🌞

lydiangel83 · 21/05/2017 17:30

Has anyone yet started putting clothes away that they are going to be too fat for for a long time? In order to make space for maternity clothes! I really need to as have lots of work dresses and nice dresses that I will not be wearing for a while, but kind of don't want to!

Bubbasmama2017 · 21/05/2017 19:37

@lydiaangel83 I have! Started to with winter stuff and thought might as well put the smaller bits away as well.
I'm not feeling as tired the last few days so want to start eating better now. Already put on a stone and don't want to gain much more!!
Has anyone had their 15-16 week check with the midwife? Got mine after the bank holiday and wondering if she'll try and find the heart beat?

ew1990 · 21/05/2017 20:01

@Bubbasmama2017 got mine on the 31st, she asked me to make it at my booking appointment for when I was 16 weeks or over so she can find the heartbeat, I'm so excited xx

Missonhartbaby · 21/05/2017 20:03

Hey ladies! How's everybody feeling? I've been feeling baby moving for the past couple of days, it's so crazy! They only way I can explain it is it feels abit like a fish in my belly! Also I've gone into crazy, must clean everything, mode! Anyone else experienced this at 19weeks?! X

lydiangel83 · 21/05/2017 20:57

@Bubbasmama2017 got mine on Tues :)

ew1990 · 21/05/2017 21:11

@Missonhartbaby aww how nice, I'm 15 weeks now so hoping to feel it soon, I can't wait till the cleaning thing starts, all I've done today is eat and have 2 naps, I need to get ready for work tomorrow now lol xx

Bubbasmama2017 · 21/05/2017 21:49

Proper TMI time but has anyone got bad gas? I've got constipation and can't seem to shift either the gas or constipation. I think most of my bump is bloating Blush

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 22/05/2017 08:04

Does anyone know if we can use the mosquito wrist bands? Can't see on the package you can't be don't want to risk it if we can't.

TheLionQueen1 · 22/05/2017 13:34

Victoria, I can't see why you wouldn't be able to? Googling it looks like it's recommended if anything.

So my little boy is a proper wriggler, he is really kicking me now, normally when I already need the loo the little joker Grin annoyingly though DH still can't feel it outside! Got my 20 weeks scan tomorrow morning, can't wait!

Missonhartbaby · 22/05/2017 13:50

Yea I can't wait untill my OH can feel baby, and I can't wait to find out the gender! I have mine on the 6th June. Good luck for yours @thelionqueen1 :) and @ew1990 it won't be long I'm sure! And trust me I have had my fair share of those days! Haha

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 22/05/2017 13:52

I'm excited for my first midwifes appointment on 6th June :)

Near enough symptom free at the moment apart from ocassional cramping and constipation!

I've got really sore nipples too not the boobs just the nipples! Has anyone had loads of veins pop up on just their nipples?

TheLionQueen1 · 22/05/2017 13:53

Thanks Misson and you! We had a private scan a few weeks ago when we found out gender but can't wait to see him again!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 22/05/2017 13:54

Or should I say areolas lol

ew1990 · 22/05/2017 16:11

Girls I don't know what to do, I'm struggling with work, I've had a splitting migraine all day and don't feel well, these 12 and half hours on my feet are too much, I feel like crying xx

lydiangel83 · 22/05/2017 16:43

@ew1990 sounds terrible. Tell your line manager and go home. Email Hr telling them the situation and also go to doctors so that they can write a note saying what you can/ can't do at work.

Someone asked me at work today if I was pregnant (have not told many people), so i guess I'm starting to show at 16+3!
