holiday to benidorm tomorrow - so scared something's going to happen on the plane can't stop worrying! although i've read so many articles that flying has no impact whatsoever!

TheLionQueen1 · 19/05/2017 09:28

Victoria I really don't think you need to worry. I'm in Cyprus at the moment which is a much longer flight and a few of the ladies on here went to Japan in early pregnancy. There is no risk flying that early pregnancy on such a short haul flight!

Also I've barely avoided anything whilst here and even enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening.

You seem to get really worried I.e cats/flying. Really not a criticism as we are all worrying, having not done it before, but have you considering speaking to your MW about your concerns? As it can't be good spending so much time stressing! X

lydiangel83 · 19/05/2017 09:34

I travelled to Japan and was absolutely fine apart from Jet lag!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 19/05/2017 09:40

@TheLionQueen1 i'm going to be doing! i've always been such an anxious person always thinking about the worst case scenario and what to do if it happens!

time to chill out i think!!

after a while i soon realise what a prat i've been!

TheLionQueen1 · 19/05/2017 09:44

To be fair I'm exactly the same normally, oddly this pregnancy has me chilling out when you would have thought it was the opposite!!

On another note, baby has started kicking and I'm getting a routine which is very exciting! Annoyingly my DH can't feel it yet though!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 19/05/2017 09:57

@TheLionQueen1 i'm going to try and stop stressing and enjoy every moment :) be the last time i get some peace and quiet for a while!

Omg! I can't wait for the kicks and the little bump. Does he get annoyed when he can't feel it?

TheLionQueen1 · 19/05/2017 10:13

He sort of does, but I get more annoyed that baby is belting me but he can't feel it! Hopefully won't be long! I've also ballooned the past few weeks, I look like I'm twice as pregnant as I am! Think a lot of it is food Grin

MSH2010 · 19/05/2017 10:46

20 week scan done :) all is well

Brens13 · 19/05/2017 11:03

Congratulations Smile

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 19/05/2017 11:04

Congratulations @MSH2010!

Bubbasmama2017 · 19/05/2017 13:35

@MSH2010 congratulations

Bubbasmama2017 · 19/05/2017 13:41

can't wait to start feeling the baby moving! 14 weeks tomorrow, got an internal UK flight in a few weeks and been worrying about that. I'm a worrier too @Victoriaaaaaaaa I'm going to speak to the midwife about it as I feel like I need constant reassurance from scan or movement that the baby is still in there Blush

lydiangel83 · 19/05/2017 13:56

Well done @MSH2010 good news :) I can't believe how quickly 20 wk scans are coming around. I checked date of mine the other day and thought it must be a mistake as I wouldn't be 20 wks on 13th June, but I will be!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 19/05/2017 14:11

@Bubbasmama2017 i'm glad i'm not the only over worrier here lol!

Tillums · 19/05/2017 15:02

Hello fellow worriers.
It's a sunny day here in South Wales.
I had my scan in EPU this morning and in measuring 7 + 6 weeks! Which is a week further along than I was expecting! And we could see a really strong heartbeat! I am so over the moon that everything looks healthy and on track!

My little jelly bean doesn't look like anything just yet but I am so in love with my scan picture already! I can't wait for the 12 week scan now!!

Misty I do hope you catch soon Hun! Have fun trying to make a baby though and chilling out while you can.

I'm hoping you all have good days too ladies and sending all the good love and vibes xxxx

Tillums · 19/05/2017 15:21

Thanks everyone! I really am on cloud 9 today! I couldn't be happier! ❤️❤️❤️

lydiangel83 · 19/05/2017 15:25

Congrats @Tillums what a lovely little bean :-)

tinywithtoes · 19/05/2017 16:54

So yesterday I started to get pains, unsure if my gallbladder was the cause or it was bean we went to the women's outpatients where they did a scan to check baby and everything is fine baby bean is in the correct place and I even got to see beans heart beating !!! 💜💜 My dates work out in 6+ 3 (today) but from current measurement of bean they say I'm just under the 6 weeks so looks like she. I have my 12 scan they will change my due date :/)

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 09:48

@tillums welcome back and congrats, That's great news:)

@Misty hey there, glad you're doing ok:)

Someone was asking about 12 wk scans / booking appt - I had mine both at the same time at 11+5

This week I've been quite emotional. I'm 15 weeks and in the midst of mad May in work and also not sleeping great at all and most of my clothes don't fit anymore. So I think it's a combination of everything! Had a wee cry to oh and said I'm feeling quite alone - he was really surprised as I'm always busy and always around people. But it's not physically ot6s emotionally/ mentally like I'm alone with all these thoughts and feelings and no one else knows - like I don't want to tell him about every wee twinge etc. Anyone know what I mean? He said I should speak to m/w but i think it's normal and is just the hormones!

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 09:48

*ot6s it's

Moo31 · 20/05/2017 09:50

Also the fact that i haven't put any weight on yet is worrying me but I've spoken to a few friends this week who have said they were the same so that has helped a bit!

tmc14 · 20/05/2017 10:08

Moo - sending a hug. I totally get that. I'm 14 weeks and, while I'm so excited to be having a baby, I'm finding pregnancy quite lonely. My DH is so fantastic, but it's not him doing it, and every twinge/feeling/change is quite overwhelming. Sorry I have no advice, but definitely feeling the same! x
