So going on the advice that I'm not going to harm the baby by exercising, I went out for a run today, and it was fine. :) Made me feel really good actually.. and it's nice to know I still can if I want to.

@mrsjkerry where did you get that miscarriage calculator? I'm the same, I like countdowns and numbers and charts. Makes me feel like I'm doing something positive.

mrsjkerry · 11/05/2017 21:12

@Fela there are mixed views on this and may not be helpful to some...but I liked seeing the % drop.

Remember to look at the probability of birth! The high numbers also v reassuring

@mrsjkerry it's so funny, I just found that site as you replied :)

Yes the numbers are reassuring.. this one is similar too and it shows you day by day on one table, you just need to put in the date of your last period (careful - date in US format)

@fela well done on the run. I ran a bit in first few weeks and haven't last few weeks due to not feeling well and really miss it.

Can't get any clear guidance on how late you can run until, I'm 16 weeks next week when back from hol is that still ok to run?

@mrsjkerry also put on a lot of weight and wouldn't mind but arms legs face bum just look massive and want to tone up a little now that I'm feeling less nauseous. Will also eat a little healthier once back from hol next wk :)

Tinyti83 · 12/05/2017 05:23

So it's 5am and I've now been awake since 3am. I have my 8week scan at EPU today and my head keeps turning over all of my worries, there hasn't been anything more than a few pains and the midwife was happy with my weight, bmi and overall health the other day however being my first pregnancy I can't help but worry. @Fela thank you for posting the link below, very reassuring to see the % reducing. Hope everyone else is doing ok x

TheLionQueen1 · 12/05/2017 08:12

Hope all goes well Tiny!

Moo31 · 12/05/2017 08:22

Good luck tiny!

Tinyti83 · 12/05/2017 10:29

Thank you @Moo31 @TheLionQueen1 all is fine and well, even saw the little mites heartbeat as tiny as it was! I'm so relieved and they have now discharged me from EPAU for routine antenatal care. They were kind enough to let us have a copy of the scan so thought I'd share xx

Brens13 · 12/05/2017 10:35

Congratulations Tiny. Must be lovely to have that reassurance, and such a lovely little pic x

TheLionQueen1 · 12/05/2017 13:06

Aww! Glad it went so well!

Tinyti83 · 12/05/2017 14:27

Thank you ladies, I can't stop smiling now today! Fingers crossed everything will keep well going forward! 😁 x

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/05/2017 18:41

does anyone use fake tan? I've got a night out tomorrow night and a wedding in a few weeks, currently 12+6. Let me know if you think its a total no no I think the NHS website says its fine but not sure if there is any specific types/brands I should use x

Tinyti83 · 12/05/2017 19:01

I use fake tan daily and I'm not in the slightest bit concerned about using it throughout my pregnancy from all I've read and my initial chat with my midwife where I mentioned it and she didn't bat an eyelid so I'm taking it from that, there is no issues with it Hun x

ElleMcElle · 12/05/2017 19:12

Hello! Can I join you? I found out I'm pregnant last week and am now 5+2 (I think!) so due around 10th Jan. Have an early private scan booked at 8 weeks, just for a little bit of reassurance - but yet to make booking appt as we're trying to decide which hospital to go with.

It's my first pregnancy (at age 36) and I'm already EXHAUSTED! Anyone else getting knee pain if you sleep on your side at night? It feels as if my bones are knocking together or something... I've read about joint pain later in pregnancy, but surprised to experience it this early.

Fela · 12/05/2017 19:20

I'm in the process of booking an early scan. Nuffield Health do a consultation and a scan for 125, does anyone know of any better prices?

tinywithtoes · 12/05/2017 19:21

Hi @ElleMcElle I'm due 9th Jan
Where have u booked your scan ?
I'm also soooo tired sitting here trying not to fall sleep and can't get comfy at all in bed

Bubbasmama2017 · 12/05/2017 19:27

@tinyti83 out of interest which tan do you use? that's good to know, I heard you shouldn't have a salon tan done in case you breathe in the fumes! xx

welcome @ellemcelle !

ElleMcElle · 12/05/2017 19:48

Hello - I booked it at The Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley St. It's £100 and the profit goes to a charity that provides research and training to improve the health of pregnant women and babies.

TheLionQueen1 · 12/05/2017 21:20

I paid £79 from Babybond for the early scan and have used them for my gender scan since as well and they are fab! Don't know if you have one locally though!

ew1990 · 12/05/2017 21:23

Girls my hunger is worse than ever, 2 plates of Chinese takeaway and now cheesecake, x

Tinyti83 · 12/05/2017 21:24

Hi @Bubbasmama2017 I use St Moritz dark spray every few days and then the Rimmel Sunshimmer, Medium Matt for a daily top up but that does wash off in the shower, the st moritz builds up over a few days, I go ever so dark in the sun but just don't want to look like leather when I'm 60 lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ so I prefer to fake it for health and safety reasons. The st moritz goes on lovely but make sure you get a tan mitt to apply. X

MrsB12345 · 12/05/2017 21:34

It's happened. I'm at the point where I think I can eat more than I can. Feel absolutely stuffed and hardly ate any dinner. I love food too Shock
