I'm gunna get my highlights done now I'm past 12 weeks my roots are terrible, i think it's safe coz they don't actually go to your scalp xx

Hi ladies, I posted last month about hopefully being pregnant but that didn't happen, however I'm due on Tuesday 2 days time, last few weeks I have slept like anything, till 11 am then having another nap in the afternoon, I'm so so irritable and angry and moody, I feel fat bloated and horrid and not to mention I cant go to the loo for the life of me! I normally have 5 6 coffee a day I can only have 1 a day just fine if them, I stopped smoking just incase and cause I wanted too, I don't crave for it when I smell it either. I took a test a week ago was negative, so I'm going to wait till Tuesday see what happends, how ever I keep get back ache cramps in my left and right side sharp pains just general pains and feeling general uncomfortable all the time, I have these random hot flashes for a min or so. Wouldn't say tender breast just a little heave and tingling and sore around the nipple. I'm just scared incase all these symptoms are nothing and Iv got my hopes up for nothing?!
Anyone with any idea what it is or could it be or ami going mental?.

I got my hair done last week, no issues at all. Hairdresser said it's no problem unless in huge quantities. I also have highlights in foils, colour was just as normal (I'd heard hormones can stop it taking)x

@Squigglefish the week before I found out I had my highlights done and the blonde didn't take in some places, now I know why xxx

@ew1990 Ooh that's really interesting. Hormones can be evil. My hairdresser did tell me my hair might fall out after baby is born....great! Xx

Really?? Oh no! Yeah it's not bad it's just in two places I have patches of brown about the size of a 20p, luckily it's easily hidden xx

Thought I'd join you lot... Took a first response test this afternoon (too impatient to wait for a morning wee) and got a pretty clear BFP! Sort of can't believe it really, but am very excited, but also a bit terrified that it will all go wrong.... is it normal to feel that way?

Are you dehydrated Ew? Have you taken anything for the pain or could you be being sick because you haven't and it's bad and you should take some paracetamol ? Sorry to hear that

Hey everyone. I've been checking everyday but felt too sick/down/apathetic to post. Been feeling really panicky about being pregnant, labour and feeling trapped when baby is here! Feeling bit better now...booked two holidays! One to Las Vegas in 3 weeks! My favourite place ever! And one to Tenerife in August just for 3 nights. 🤗 excited!

@MSH2010 I don't feel pregnant either! Everything DH talks about baby, or anyone else, I can't imagine it and it doesn't feel weird. The constant nausea should be enough, but oddly, despite feeling sick I don't feel pregnant. Unless feeling pregnant means feeling sick!?

@ew1990 that happened to me on Wednesday. Headache all day and then rising nausea till eventually I vomited everywhere. Took my pills, slept it off and was ok. Am now 13+3 and not sure sickness is fading yet!

Can I ask a question? Total newbie here, but what do people mean when they say things like 13+3?

13 weeks and 3 days,

the headaches gone today girls but as soon as I got out of the bed I was sick, maybe dehydration it was too hot at work yesterday and that's when it started,

@mrsj I was told that was all normal feeling like that. It's not nice though! I'm slightly calmer about the idea of labour now but I'm avoiding obem just in case I set myself off again! Ooh the holidays will be lovely! We're moving house in the next few months so no holidays for us but I'll be glad to be somewhere a bit bigger and safer!
I can't eat anything curry flavoured, for example curry noodles without being sick but an actual curry is fine?

I got told because I've had migraines in the past then my work wouldn't put them down to pregnancy related even though they've definitely gotten more frequent! A bit fed up of people saying they had the perfect pregnancy and telling me what to do! Don't rub it in my face sorry ladies having a little rant. Ignore me!

I started my day kneeling on the drive being sick into the flower bed. This is getting tiring and it's making me late 😢

Hi ladies, I've not posted in a while as have been rather busy with work and house sorting, I'm now 7+2 and seem to be starting with terrible shortness of breath, I've had a few other symptoms, nausea after certain foods - now discovered sticking to plain foods makes this easier, bits of cramping and mild pain but I have a pregnancy cyst on my right ovary which they discovered at my EPU Scan at 6 weeks so I know that's normal, then there's the tiredness.... that has near finished me off, every time I sit still I could fall asleep! 💤 but this breathlessness has come out of the blue, I'm sat at my desk right now and feel like I've walked a fast paced mile! Anyone else had this at a similar stage? X

@Jessiecat27 if it helps, I'm (5 months today) off work due to aching -mainly pelvis hips & back, exhausted and generally not wanting to go anywhere. Keep going. Xx

I've had to ring in sick today, woke up at half 4 and the minute I lifted my head up I was sick, luckily my other half had put a bowl at my side of the bed, xx

@ew1990 how far along are you? My sickness is coming back horribly, I'm over 14w now xx

I'm 13+2, I've only ever suffered morning sickness once before and the odd bit of nausea,
