@Squigglefish they the ones I'm on touch wood working so far. Thought I had got away with sickness was fine first trimester. All worth it for bubba I suppose

@Mumtobe12 33 weeks and sickness?? Please don't tell me this. I'm hoping and praying for mine to disappear and not come back!!!

@Squigglefish someone said to me "are you sure there's only one in there look at the size of you!" 😏. Charming. I'm only 12 weeks and didn't think I'd gained that much!

@mrsjkerry sorry to say it can come back with increased hormones and less stomach space in third trimester. Fingers crossed you don't get same how far gone are you? X

Nooooooo I've had it so so bad first trimester. I am 12 weeks on Friday.

@ew1990 well...according to my calculations I am 12+3 but on my scan I was ahead so I'd now be 13w exactly according to what I was told at the scan! Not sure what to go with. They moved my due date forward and wrote it on my notes so I guess I'll go with that

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow but haven't got my scan until I'm exactly 13 weeks I'm getting so impatient xx

My OH has just come back from working away, he went to a thorntons outlet and came back with 3 massive Easter eggs x god help me xx

Hi ladies, I'm new to this. Hope your all doing well, I am 5+4... have noticed you all talking about bloating!! Oh my days I've never bloated so much in my life. First pregnancy so it's all new to me. Excited and nervous, not to mention an emotional wreck! Bless my DP, he's been so fab with mr worrying/crying etc. He's given me a present today (see pic) I even cried at that! 🤦🏻‍♀️ It's going to be a very emotional journey I think!! Lol

I've got first scan tomorrow at EPU (Will he 9+6) due to abdominal pain. Quite nervous now couldn't sleep last night!

I've got my 12wk scan today....very nervous!

Nervous, 'cause I'm 40 and the increased risk with it.

Well I'll be thinking of you both @THirdEeye @lydiangel83 let's hope everything is ok for all of us. I'm also very nervous but trying to brace face it for work as no one knows as yet, not even family as we said we'd keep Mum (so to speak) until we knew for sure all is ok. @Tinyti83 Hi, I'm 5+4 today, so we may be going through the same sort of things throughout this! I haven't had the bloating yet, despite eating more in a day than I probably had in a week previously lol. I'm also very excited and nervous as this is the first. Pleased that I seem fairly symptom free so far (apart from the odd bit of breast pain or slight tummy ache). Though going forward I imagine lack of symptoms will make me nervous. The 12 week scan can't come soon enough!

Hi everyone, sorry I have been awol, I took a break from mn as I found the waiting time so long and I go through times where I'm convinced the scan will show a mmc, for you who don't know I had an early mc nearly 2 years ago, then we went through all the test which came back unexplained and then finally I got my bfp at 4 weeks in the beginning of March. I'm now 11 weeks 3 days and I had my midwife appointment last Thursday, I had deliberately not contacted my surgery until I was 8 weeks as I was just so anxious. My scan appointment came through on Monday and is scheduled for Thursday 11May at 9.20 am and I have decided to take the day off as annual leave. The only symptoms I've got are slightly sore boobs (nothing like week 5&6 where they felt like they were on fire), extremely thirsty, occasional headaches and slight aversion to certain types of food plus completely gone off coffee.
I've read through and it's great that we've had some new girls joining the thread. I can't remember who it is that is off to Japan in May 2 girls on here I think) but oh I envy you guys. One of you asked for tips on what to see. I went in 2010 for 12 days and we stayed in Tokyo, The island Shikoku (stayed with friends here), Kyoto and back in Tokyo. I can recommend that you get a good travel guide, if you are travelling the country by train I think it's worth booking a travel pass before you get there. I think my favourite place was Kyoto but in general everything was amazing.

@Sakura03 I'm going to Japan on Monday! We are going to Tokyo Kyoto Takayama and then Ishigaki in the south west islands - can't wait even tho weather forecast is very rainy!!

@Brens13 oh wow! We are definitely in sync! I'm glad your fairly symptom free Hun, I've had a few, tiredness being the main one which has really got to be. Felt bloated for the last week on and off but as I'm taking the folic acid now I know that can constipated you slightly so I think that's the main culprit to my bloated tum, yesterday I looks about 5 months not 5 weeks! Lol. Started with a real thirst too and the odd bit of dizziness but nothing that's stopping me getting on. I'm just really anxious for the scan and to hopefully know all is ok. My pains/niggles seem to have eased today as me increasing my fibre intake worked so I'm hoping that's all it was. So you'll also be due just before Christmas Hun! I hope your symptom free world continues for you!! Have you booked in with your midwife yet? I'm with mine on the 10th may for the booking appointment but that may shift depending on tomorrow's scan x

Yeah I was quite tired at the weekend, and definitely still have a bit less energy, but nothing to debilitating yet! Have had the odd little headache too. I'm not looking forward to the possible constipation....makes you feel so rubbish. Yep, currently worked out as Christmas Eve! Exciting times. I haven't booked in yet. I saw my Dr on Monday or did a questionnaire and will refer me, but he said I probably wouldn't hear from them before 8-10 weeks to book in the 12 week scan. You've got a scan very early then, that will be exciting! x

Hi ladies. I've had my scan. We have a baby in there. A stubborn baby who was dancing away and that won't lie in the right position but a baby is there. So relieved

Yeay congratulations on the first glimpse of baby. Must be amazing :)
