They've got some lovely things Bear just checked out that brand.
Going to try wait till they are born to buy anymore I think....let's see!
We've basically bought everything now just need a few final bits. Busy day!!!

I signed up to Tamba and managed to get discount and sale on those newborn sleeping bags you told me about Bear from Merino Kids. Tamba really helps with discount in some shops.

Blue I've also read you're blog and I have signed up to NCT but in the knowledge that I might not make any/all of the classes. They were lovely and said they would refund any classes I couldn't attend. As Bear says try stay on the email list and keep in touch with them. I'm sure everyone will be lovely and super supportive and welcoming. Hope you're doing ok. Lots of love to you and Aviana xxxx

Bear2014 · 01/05/2017 21:47

Good plan. You will be bought a lot of stuff as presents so you'll probably want to save your pennies for when they're a bit bigger. DD was in 3-6 months stuff by 8 weeks old so it was a really short window of time! Now she has bits that she's been wearing for as long as a year so it's worth splashing out a bit more.

Cool about the sleeping bags too, nice one! 👍 It all adds up especially when buying 2 of everything!!

Lolly2803 · 03/05/2017 13:16

The sleeping bags arrived today Bear! Just saw something on another thread that said you can't use sleeping bags for new borns! The ones we've bought did say 0-3 months from birth so I assume we can?
Also maybe a stupid question but are babies meant to wear a vest under their baby grow? I've just bought baby grows and am now confused!!

How are you ladies doing? xxxx

Bear2014 · 03/05/2017 13:52

Hi Lolly - it should say on the label or packaging somewhere what weight you can use them from, or on the website. The Gro Company first size, which is what most people have, you can use from 8.5lbs so absolutely from newborn for some, but depends on how big your baby is! If you got the Coccoi one, or whatever it's called, I'm sure it's smaller than that.

I wouldn't put a vest under a baby gro in the summer but I did in January.

All good thanks! Apart from the fact that I lost half a tooth yesterday in my run down pregnancy state but should be getting it sorted out for free tomorrow morning. Hope you're all good too xx

Lolly2803 · 03/05/2017 14:43

Oh no!!! How annoying and painful! I hate the dentist so that would be my worst nightmare! I've been taking calcium and vitamin d tablets in the hope I can avoid a dentist visit! Haha.

Ok the weight thing makes sense. Yes the cocoi ones or whatever are really small. I'll read the details.
Ok so given they'll be spring / summer babies I won't worry about vests for now.

I am all good thanks xxx

Bear2014 · 03/05/2017 15:35

I know! Actually not painful, just a weird hole that I keep sticking my tongue into. I'm annoyed with myself as I've had so may appointments with the fertility treatment and pregnancy that I basically just couldn't be arsed to go. I haven't taken DD either, naughty.

Hi all, just checking in. Sorry to hear about your tooth Bear, hope it gets sorted. So difficult to keep up with everything like that when babies are the focus isn't it. Lovely to hear lots of positive progress with buying stuff, esp you Lolly! I'm 24 weeks now and have just allowed myself to buy one cute little baby vest Smile. Sending love to Blue and Aviana, plus Fraggle, Raffles, Elles and everyone else xx

MrsCrabtree · 03/05/2017 22:03

Oops! Wrong username - it's really me! Blush

Bear2014 · 04/05/2017 11:06

Hi Mrscrab, hooray that you're starting to shop! Exciting times. Hope you're feeling well.

I'm such an idiot for not going to the dentist sooner - ladies, get to the dentist! They managed to drill and salvage my tooth with a very big white filling but the cave went right to the nerve and if it doesn't stabilise on its own and heal itself, I might need to have x-rays, root canal and goodness knows what after the baby comes. Great to get all that for free though, I forgot what a good perk it is.

OP posts:
Lolly2803 · 05/05/2017 08:45

Aw buy away Mrs Crab. I had loads of deliveries yesterday. Felt quiet excited. Think I am getting excited now. I'm 28 weeks today and in my third trimester according to my app! Can't quiet believe it to be honest!!

Bear glad the teeth are ok. I will register at a dentist when we move. Also means I can put it off a bit longer. It's amazing that my fertility journey has meant taking my pants off and sitting with people looking at and inside my bits countless times and yet Im more worried about going to the dentist!! Haha!!

RafflesMaidenSister · 05/05/2017 18:52

MrsCrab - us too! We bought a sleep suit in the supermarket. It took me about ten minutes to decide whether or not to do it Grin. All going well here - I think - was super miserable for a while after I stopped riding but getting over it now. It's not forever, but it's more of a wrench than I though to watch everyone else starting the season while I'm struggling to stay fit by walking and swimming.

Hope everyone's OK, particularly Fraggle and Blue (been following your blog Blue, and Aviana is unbelievably adorable).

FraggleRock77 · 05/05/2017 20:22

Thank you for all the queries. Lovely to hear everyone is busy shopping and getting on so well. Sorry to hear about your tooth Bear, it's so difficult to juggle health issue when you're pregnant! Love the other user name MrsCrab!
I've been struggling these past few days with odd twinges and upset bowels. Absolutely and utterly freaked out I'm going to go into labour every five minutes. I've been avoiding reading the pregnancy thread and posting on here for fear of jinxing my luck! Started reading the infertility thread again! Silly i know. So hard trying to rest with a toddler. The house looks like a bomb has hit it and my DH is taking the strain. Moan Moan Moan, sorry, hence avoiding the thread.
Wishing every one a safe and peaceful weekend xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 05/05/2017 21:31

Fraggle, this seems like a good place to Moab, and you absolutely have reason to! Fingers crossed, not long to go now to 24 weeks. Thinking about you.

Lolly2803 · 06/05/2017 10:03

Great news on the buying Raffles! I found it scary and exciting!

Fraggle this is he perfect place to moan we are all ears....or eyes! Can't imagine how difficult it is to rest for you ladies with a toddler running around. I literally am not sure what I'd do right now if I had that to deal with as well. Aches and pains are normal I am sure Fraggle so just try and relax. Don't worry about a messy house. Or get DH to tidy up and get a cleaner round for a couple of hours. Treat yourself! Hope you're feeling better today.

I went into London yesterday for my sis birthday lunch and then paid for it last night with terrible restless legs. Got to sleep eventually but was awake and had a few tears about 4am as my legs were aching so much. No more going out like that for me. Not worth it!!! xxx

Bear2014 · 06/05/2017 16:30

Hi ladies,

glad you're doing well raffles, I feel your pain about the fitness thing** though, it's so frustrating.

Fraggle, sounds like you're defo having a tough time Flowers must be terrifying analysing every twitch. If you haven't already, can you get a cleaner for a while? Could you send DS for a sleepover to get some headspace? It must be a nightmare, our DD won't even let me have a lie in without coming to bug me about something.

Lolly amazing to be 28 weeks! Smileno wonder you're needing to slow right down.

I'm definitely over-doing it today - we're trying to tag team it with DD and get through the mountain of jobs that need doing. Clearing our spare room to make way for nursery which means re-jigging most of the upstairs. The kitchen is being ripped out in a few weeks and DD will be living out of a suitcase staying with family. When that's done I'm going to beach myself on the sofa and call it a day Grin

Bear2014 · 06/05/2017 16:31

No idea what all that bold text is about

OP posts:
FraggleRock77 · 06/05/2017 16:31

Thanks Raffles/Lolly. That sounds rubbish Lolly. Do you have to elevate your legs in bed?x

Lolly2803 · 06/05/2017 16:42

Yer I have to say I'm feeling much less mobile now. Wow Bear I am exhausted just reading about what you're up to! Will be lovely when it's all done though and yes def rest once that all done. Time to put your feet up after all that for sure!

Fraggle yes I put some extra pillows under my feet at night and then I also have a preggers pillow as well. The restless legs are literally the most annoying thing but sometimes if I've been on my feet a bit during the night they just ache and feel so heavy which is why I cried! Totally stupid but it got me to sleep! Very relaxed day on the sofa today. Going to have a nice bath in a bit.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend xxx

Lolly2803 · 06/05/2017 17:12

Also Bear I've been trying to get that Waitrose Baby Bottom Butter and it's like gold dust!! It's on offer on ocado and yet out of stock and they don't have it in my Waitrose that I saw. Sounds amazing though!!

Bear2014 · 06/05/2017 17:17

Really? That's weird. Hopefully you can get some in time. We haven't bought it for ages, maybe it's become a cult product Grin

OP posts:
Lolly2803 · 06/05/2017 18:19

It has!! Apparently women using it as a face cream it's so good. I'll hunt some down I'm sure.

MrsCrabtree · 07/05/2017 10:02

I feel like I need to try to track down some of this wonder cream now!

Sorry about your legs lolly, restless legs are so so frustrating. Hope the rest will help you.

Bear, goodness me you're busy!! And yes I DK how you and Fraggle are managing with another little one as well. Thinking of you Fraggle, no wonder you're stressing but have everything crossed for you.

Glad you bought something too Raffles Smile Yes mine was a £4 supermarket item - not going too mad yet!!

Im on an emotional rollercoaster at the moment, for no real reason, don't know if it's hormonal or what!

Lolly2803 · 07/05/2017 11:02

Good Luck Mrs Crab! Let me know if you find some. Yes restless legs are the worst. Although the previous night it was just the aching. Yesterday and last night my hips were so so painful. But I managed to get into a comfy position and actually had a good night sleep so feeling a bit better now.

I think crazy emotions are very common. That seems to be the only symptom or side effect I haven't had!!
Ordered the final bits for my hospital bag including some yoga pants Bear! Will pack it this week just incase. Getting a little nervous as the 30 week mark approaches. I know consultant said 37 weeks longest I'll go but reading so much online about babies coming before that!! Eeekk!!

Hope you're all having a nice weekend xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 07/05/2017 13:03

Fraggle, meant to say, if it's any consolation or comfort, my digestive system has completely given up the ghost. It's very uncomfortable and annoying, and I don't have all your additional worries.

Mrs Crab - the Samsung advert with the ostrich (emu?) leaves me a blubbering mess every time. I am blaming this on hormones.
