Lolly, hope all went OK both this morning and with the scan. Fingers crossed.

All good with our scan thankfully.

Blue, I'm following your blog and hope that Aviana has continued to improve since last night and that you are feeling OK (you sound like you are doing a fantastic job!).

Hope everyone else is OK.

Lolly2803 · 24/04/2017 17:42

Hi ladies, thanks for thinking of us today.
The funeral was so tough, the worst morning of my life I'd say. A beautiful service but just so very sad.

The scan however actually went very well! I couldn't believe it. Both twins growth is normal. Twin 1 Femur bone still a bit smaller but it's growing nicely along its curve so she said it will be just normal for that baby. The blood flow is also normal. Everything looks great she said and she actually said really positive scan today so we are over the moon. Looks like I might buy some baby things this weekend!!! I literally am in shock. Next scan is on 15th May so 3 weeks time. Got the consultant on Thursday.

Glad all ok with baby Raffles!!!

Blue need to catch up on your blog but sending you lots of love xxxx

Great news about both your scans Lolly and Raffles! Things really are progressing. Still can't think about any future planning yet. Just want my scan date to hurry up. Wed seems a life time away! X

mistletoeprickles · 25/04/2017 07:34

Glad the scans went well yesterday.

Yesterday was a bit of a shit day here. There was a serious lack of movement which resulted in a mad rush to triage. He's fine, the little monkey had curled up behind his placenta so I was feeling nothing at all. I've never been so scared.
He remained quiet most the day then wiggled himself out when I went to bed last night. He woke up at 4.15 this morning and I've never been so glad to feel him move.
Hope everyone else is ok xxx

Lolly2803 · 25/04/2017 09:38

Aw Mistletoe you poor thing such a worry. A friend of mine had exactly the same!! And it happened to her twice actually and the second time he was playing with the cord!!! These babies sometimes just so naughty!!

Glad all is ok though. Hope baby behaves from now on!

I know what you mean about future planning Fraggle although I'll be 27 weeks on Friday so I really think I need to buy something! Don't even have my hospital bag stuff so we are going to buy a few things this weekend. I'm actually so excited!

RafflesMaidenSister · 26/04/2017 10:14

Lolly2803 · 26/04/2017 11:21

Good Luck Fraggle!!! xxxx

FraggleRock77 · 26/04/2017 13:26

Thank you for your kind thoughts. Not until 15:30!!!

FraggleRock77 · 26/04/2017 16:23

Not good news! My cervix is giving way. Being admitted Fri for a stitch! Just knew something was wrong. Have been feeling pressure on my cervix for 5 days now!

RafflesMaidenSister · 26/04/2017 17:59

Oh no - poor you! how many weeks are you? Sending you lots of positive thoughts for the stitch. xxx

mistletoeprickles · 26/04/2017 18:23

Oh no fraggles Thinking of you. How many weeks are you now?

MrsCrabtree · 26/04/2017 18:25

Oh Fraggle, how scary, I hope Friday comes quickly for you and the stitch goes well. Have they given you special instructions til then? X

FraggleRock77 · 26/04/2017 21:08

22+3 weeks. No direct instruction but advised to rest. I've put myself on bed rest as it's the only thing i can do x

MrsCrabtree · 26/04/2017 21:12

Good idea. Sit tight and hopefully they can sort it on Friday. Well done for getting it picked up. Sending thoughts to you and baby Fraggle x

Lolly2803 · 26/04/2017 21:27

Aw Fraggle so sorry to hear that but good that it's been spotted and you're going in for the stitch. That combined with rest should keep baby Fraggle in for as long as needed. Hope you're feeling ok.

What did you notice that was different when you say pressure on cervix?
Hope you're not worrying and getting too stressed. Sending lots of love xxxx

FraggleRock77 · 26/04/2017 23:03

Thanks everyone. Lolly, for the past 4/5 days i felt like i could feel my cervix rubbing. Like something protruding. Not a pain or pressure as such, more of an increased awareness. I'm guessing what a prolapse might feel like. It has annoyed me to the point of getting limited sleep. Worse in the evening and overnight and better in the morning, when I'm less swollen and full of fluid. X

Lolly2803 · 27/04/2017 07:35

Aw Fraggle you poor thing that sounds very uncomfortable. Rest with those feet up today. What time are you going in tomorrow?

I have consultant this morning xxxx

FraggleRock77 · 27/04/2017 07:54

Good luck with your appointment Lolly xx

ellesbellesxxx · 27/04/2017 09:14

Ah Fraggle :( will be thinking of you.. take it really steady xx

Lolly really glad your scan went well! Hope consultant goes well too

Blue been reading your blog, you are doing amazingly

Raffles glad all went well with scan!

Mistletoe.. been in exactly same boat and it's so hard isn't it? Our boy was playing with his placenta when I was 24w... I went in yesterday as girl had been so quiet.. the boy is starfished across my stomach so she hasn't got much room to move.. no idea how I will monitor them now though as I can barely feel anything... can see me going in again unless They move!

Mrscrabtree hope all good with you

Lolly2803 · 27/04/2017 10:21

Elles your post made me laugh! Just imagining them in those positions! Hopefully they move and give you some nice kicks to put your mind at rest. Worrying about movement is so stressful! But def go back if you're worried.

Consultant went well. Although they said there was some sugar in my urine but likely due to my breakfast! Will need to take a sample with me at next apt. Blood pressure gone down since last time and is good. Also got a peek at the twins and all good.
Said things look good for now. Most likely they'll just decide when best time is to get them out but most likely c section.

Blue you're doing amazing and sounds like Aviana is such a fighter and super strong girl just like her Mum. Sending lots of love to you all and Mr Blue. Hope he is doing ok.

Love to all xxxx

FraggleRock77 · 27/04/2017 12:20

Thanks Elles, sorry to hear you have worries too. Great news Lolly. Are you pleased about the c section? X

Lolly2803 · 27/04/2017 13:28

Erm well to be honest I kind of assumed that's what I'd have to have anyway so it wasn't really a surprise. He didn't say for def just said more than likely and actually I'm fine with it. Whatever is safer and less stress/ worry for me gets my vote!

You feeling alright Fraggle? How are you holding up? xxx
