Blue that's excellent news!! So pleased things are headed in the right direction. Keep those feet up and lots of rest.

Yep going to go in on Monday and tell them/sort things out and then that will be it. Very weird feeling but anything that will help even a little bit is fine by me!

Fantastic news Blue! That sounds positive. And that great lolly, you must be so relieved to know you're going to stop working. Good for you Flowers

FraggleRock77 · 06/04/2017 17:53

Wonderful to hear such positive and lovely news on the thread. Great news Blue/Lolly and MrsCrab. Things seem to be moving really fast now! Xxx

Bear2014 · 07/04/2017 07:31

Such a busy day yesterday, just catching up properly. That's great Mrscrab, such a relief. Good that you managed not to find out the sex! Hope you'll start to relax a lot more now.

Blue that all sounds positive, now you both need to hang on in there as long as possible! Still keeping everything crossed for you.

Hope everyone has a good Friday xx

Hey ladies,
How are you all doing? What's the latest?
I have officially finished work. Monday was my last day so just been resting with my feet up since really.
Starting to get worried about the next scan though. One min I feel really positive as the babies are kicking so much and DH can feel them now which is great. Then the next min I'm worrying and googling accuracy of the Serenity test I had etc!

How are you ladies all doing? Any scans coming up? xxxx

mistletoeprickles · 12/04/2017 09:40

Hi everyone.

Sorry haven't been on much been busy busy.

Good to see everyone is doing well.

lolly stay away from Google Grin When I first found out I was pregnant and had some bleeding I had a blood test and a repeat 48 hours. I was told that I needed a 66% increase in hcg for it to be a viable pregnacy. Not once did I have a 66% increase in 5 repeated tests. Dr Google frightened the shit out of me. Here I stand 23 weeks pregnant and all is looking well.
I'm proof that sometimes what is expected isn't always correct.

Not a lot to up date from me really. I'm seeing the consultant next week for the first time (referral was forgotten!) Baby is busy a lot of the time and I'm growing outwards by the day. 4 weeks left at work for me; I can not wait to do nothing (ish).
Still haven't brought much, the reluctancy is still there. I guess I'm still frightened to believe we may have a baby at the end of it.

Hope everyone is well xxx

Blueroses99 · 12/04/2017 10:31

I'm back in hospital I'm afraid. I came in with some brown discharge/blood (not unusual after stitch) but my fFN result is sky high so they are keeping me in for observation. Other test results are fine - cervix closed, no contractions etc so they believe fFN is a blip - it's not accurate during bleeding esp old blood. If it goes down after bleeding stops then they don't believe I'll go into labour imminently. Otherwise I may be transferred to hospital with larger neonatal facilities or be introduced to neonatal here. I'm 23+2 today... just 5 days from V day...

RafflesMaidenSister · 12/04/2017 10:43

Good luck Blue. Hope you get the result you need soon. Xxx

Lolly2803 · 12/04/2017 10:56

Aw Blue so sorry you're back in! Good news that things seem to be quiet for now though. Hoping it stays that way and you're in the best place. Sending lots of love your way.

Mistletoe I'm with you on the reluctance to buy anything. We've said if things ok and still progressing at our next scan on 24th then we will start buying things. We've literally got nothing so will need to get some bits.

MrsCrabtree · 12/04/2017 11:30

Good luck Blue. Sounds like you're being well looked after. Thinking of you.

Lolly that's amazing you've finished work, glad you've got your feet up. I completely understand you're worried. You're in a good position tho, seeing the consultant soon and being properly looked after.

Mistletoe not long til you finish work either! I'm not due to finish until August Hmm 3.5 more months!

Lolly and mistletoe I hear you about feeling reluctant to believe there'll be a baby at the end of it/that things will be ok. I have absolutely no reason to think there's anything wrong but I can't shake the feeling that something will go wrong/be wrong. I know my DH is scared of this too. Or the rest of the time I just can't picture actually having a baby at the end. I'm trying to keep on top of the anxiety but it is hard! Do you think this is all just left over from having to go through fertility treatment? We have no more planned scans so just keeping fingers crossed really. I am enjoying all the movement, so that's good.

How is everyone else? X

FraggleRock77 · 12/04/2017 18:45

Fingers crossed for you Blue. Xx

Blueroses99 · 13/04/2017 22:46

Things are not going well for me. I'm going to update my blog rather than here just to keep the negativity away from this thread.

Love to all xx

FraggleRock77 · 13/04/2017 23:00

Just read your blog Blue. Thinking of you and have everything crossed x

Lolly2803 · 14/04/2017 08:20

Blueroses99 · 14/04/2017 09:28

Thanks Lolly. It just feels a bit selfish to witter on about myself when I'm in no fit state to be providing mutual support to anyone else right now. I'm just waiting to be transferred to St George's xx

Blueroses99 · 14/04/2017 09:29

Thanks Fraggle too x

Lolly2803 · 14/04/2017 09:51

We are all here for you Blue and sending lots of positive thoughts and love to you all. Good you're being moved as well so sounds like you're in the best possible hands. xxx

MrsCrabtree · 14/04/2017 12:52

Thinking of you Blue, you must be very frightened. Sending positive wishes and luck to you and little blue. I think you're both fighters xx

Bear2014 · 14/04/2017 16:10

Hi everyone, just catching up. Blue, I'm so sorry that you're still having such a scary time and keeping everything crossed that you can hold on for a bit longer.

Hi to everyone else, glad you're getting your feet up Lolly and that everyone else is plodding on nicely.

Nothing much to report this end, getting fatter by the day xx

Glad you're finally there, Blue! Still sending all the good vibes your way.

It's so weird how hospital is like a parallel universe. I was incarcerated for Christmas and New Year with DD, and it was surreal.

OP posts:
Blueroses99 · 14/04/2017 21:55

I'm setting into the other hospital now but I'm knackered. Things are a bit precarious but we are just trying to get through each day. Every extra day is a bonus. Bear thanks for resharing the blog link, there is more detail there.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, it really means a lot to have lovely people rooting for us. Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter break xx

Lolly2803 · 15/04/2017 09:40

We are all rooting for you Blue! Read your blog this am. Stay strong! Sounds like you're being well monitored. Lots of love and stay positive! xx

Ladies do you ever move or stretch and feel like you've pulled something in you're lower abdomen? I do in the mornings sometimes. Is that normal? Or am I actually pulling something? I'm worried I'm damaging something! xxxx
