Fraggle sounds horrific. My pelvis is always sore now - just sore mind you - and it's really wearing. Have they offered anything to make you more comfortable? But, 35 weeks today, which is great! Bet you can't wait for Tuesday.

MW appointment was actually really useful. Will be induced at 39 weeks and have a Physio appointment being booked. She also helped with the large baby terror. Barely had to use stern face at all Grin

Well done Mistletoe - fingers crossed you'll make it to section date. Hope you're feeling ok.

Also have just seen Aviana is back home, hope you're all settling back in Blue.

Hope you're ok too Lolly and operation has gone well.

FraggleRock77 · 24/07/2017 07:47

Morning. How's everyone doing? Wish me luck ladies. Stitch out tomorrow and I'm incredibly worried about how much it's going to hurt!x

Bear2014 · 24/07/2017 08:23

Morning all! Hope you're ok mistletoe- I didn't realise that they tried to stop labour at that stage.

Fraggle eek good luck! Doesn't sound pleasant but hopefully you'll have your baby in your arms soon and it will all fade in your memory.

Lolly been thinking of you, hope you're feeling a lot better and you're back at home.

Blue glad Aviana's surgery went well and hope you're all settling back in too.

How's everyone else today?

It's my first day of mat leave today! OH and DD have left for work and nursery. I'm going to try and chill a bit this and recover from a busy weekend. Still on course for getting back in the house on weds, plenty of outstanding jobs to be done but I should be able to stay out of the way while they are done. No sign of this baby but i feel so ready to pop!

Fraggle - good luck! I hope the pain is worse in anticipation than actuality. BTW, wasn't trying to compare my situation to yours, just trying to sympathise - clumsily - since I know how wearing merely being sore is I really do feel bad for you being in constant pain. Fingers crossed it will all be over soon and you will have a beautiful baby to meet.

Enjoy maternity leave Bear. Hope all the work on the house goes smoothly and you are able to get some rest.

Hope everyone else is OK!

FraggleRock77 · 24/07/2017 11:10

Didn't taken anything you said Raffles in that way. We've all had issues and problems and it's such an individual journey. Thank you for your kind wishes. I'm just praying it's over quickly. Ooooo enjoy your first day at home Bear x

MrsCrabtree · 24/07/2017 14:35

Hope you're having a good first day on mat leave Bear! Fingers crossed for the house situation. Then you can properly relax and wait for baby.

Yay for Blue and Aviana! How are you doing lolly? Recovering I hope.

Very good luck for tomorrow Fraggle. Hope it's as smooth as possible. Same as raffles I am in pain with my pelvis but that's nothing compared so I can't imagine what it must be like for you. Keep us updated on how it goes, fingers crossed!

Hope you're ok on bed rest Mistletoe, gosh you have been through it with having the labour stopped. Glad that bubba is nice and safe enjoying a while longer inside though?

Raffles glad you were reassured by the MW and have an induction date. It's all happening! I'm nearly 36 weeks now, seeing MW later so hoping baby still in the right position. We should definitely get a new thread soon!

FraggleRock77 · 24/07/2017 16:50

Thank you all. Will keep you updated. How's the bedrest going Mistletoe? Hope the baby hasn't moved MrsCrab?! When's your first physio Raffles?x

MrsCrabtree · 24/07/2017 18:51

Baby is still in the correct position! Now I just have to get through this week of work and then we wait...

FraggleRock77 · 24/07/2017 20:26

Great news MrsCrab x

mistletoeprickles · 25/07/2017 07:33

Hi everyone

I'm sorry I still haven't had chance to catch up properly.

It was decided to hold labour off as he's a little small, but not massively. He seems quite happy staying in there for now and I'm happily sat at 2cm dilated. I did the same with DD for almost two weeks except I wasn't contracting.

As the consultant said it's only a week so let's give him a little longer which was definately the right decision.

I haven't taken up full bed rest but I'm doing very little. I have found laying down too long will start contractions the second i stand up. I'm hoping to get out today, I have slight cabin fever and I haven't got dressed since Thursday.

A few lessons have been learnt from my hospital stay though. I hadn't packed enough pants or pajamas so they have now been added to my bag.

I'll aim to catch up with all the goings on later today xxx

Bear2014 · 25/07/2017 10:07

Glad all the babies are hanging in there happily, hope you're ok MrsCrab and get out today. Great that you have an induction plan, Raffles.

Thinking of you today, Fraggle! Hope it's not too painful.

All still on course for getting back into our house (minus the living room) tomorrow. I'm currently sitting on my friend's sofa watching Netflix, mainly. This massive baby feels like he wants out but no actual signs of anything yet, which is for the best really.

FraggleRock77 · 25/07/2017 15:29

Hello. Just an update from me. The stitch was removed at 09:30am and was pretty painful and unpleasant. Luckily the gas and air really helped and it was quick. I forgot how effective gas and air is!! Unfortunately i didn't go into spontaneous labour and I've been given a choice of a c section either at 37 or 39 weeks. For medical reasons to the baby around breathing issues my consultant thinks 39 is best but appreciates I've been held prisoner for 13 weeks! I'm really torn. So desperate for it to be over but don't want to harm the baby. I'm not sure i can tolerate another four weeks of pain and rest! What to do?!? Of course i may labour before then too. And equally i have a very odd sense of normal due to DS being born at 29 weeks who has no breathing issues now!
Hope everyone else is ok? Hope you're enjoying Netflix Bear?x

RafflesMaidenSister · 27/07/2017 08:48

Sorry not been on for a while - I've been reading everyone's updates, though, and glad everyone's hanging on in there. Bear, are you home? Fraggle have you made a decision? Must be super tough especially when you are in so much pain.

You still holding out Mistletoe? Glad the baby's in the right position Mrs Crab. Hurrah to the last few weeks at work. I was supposed to be finishing the commute this week but will have to go in twice next week now.

But, have had some Physio and has really helped. So I'm feeling much happier with the world!

Hope everyone's surviving. X

MrsCrabtree · 27/07/2017 08:52

How did the move back go Bear? I hope everything went to plan and you had lots of help!

Mistletoe are you hanging in there? Not long til your section date! How are you feeling?

Fraggle that's a tough decision, have you made it yet? I'm sure whatever you decide will be absolutely the right thing for you and baba. Hope your pain is somewhat better.

You ok Raffles?

I can hardly walk now so can't wait to finish work tomorrow!

MrsCrabtree · 27/07/2017 08:54

Oh crossed posts with you there raffles, great minds Smile sorry you have to go into work next week aargh, but glad your physio has helped. I might go back to the osteopath I saw as it's getting a bit ridiculous.

mistletoeprickles · 27/07/2017 09:20

Morning all

Are you home bear? Must be relief to get back in your own house.

Glad your feeling better raffles

Are you still holding on fraggle? The 37/39 weeks conversation is one we had, although it was then settled on 38 weeks due to the gestational diabetes but the breathing issues was also a factor in holding things off last week. It was tough for us as we had nothing to compare it too as DD was term. We basically went for an extra week can make all the difference so let's do that m. Have you made a decision?

mrscrabb you must be so relieved to finish work. I now go days without getting dressed Grin to the point yesterday where my MIL said "it's nice to see you've got some clothes". She was joking and with the amount of rest I'm meant to be having I tend to just bath and change my pajamas.

Section date is now very very close and at the moment I have no nerves. There's a little bit of the unknown for me I think especially as I had a natural delivery before.
DP finishes work today so we have the whole weekend the 3 of us. There are a few household jobs we need to do but other than that we are just planning some quality time. I took DD out for lunch last time we had a really lovely time, at one point she did say "mummy this is the last time before baby isn't it?" I was worried she was sad but turns out it was excitement. Xxx

Bear2014 · 27/07/2017 09:53

Morning all, it's getting close for everyone isn't it! Fraggle sorry to hear you didn't just go into labour. I've always been told the longer you can cook them the better but the impulse to be done with it all must be strong!

Glad everyone else is plodding along ok.

We are home, got back in yesterday. We have no ceiling up in the living room but furniture is back in and it feels good! We've decided if we can't 'beat the due date' we're just going to hold off a bit to take the pressure off and concentrate on the birth.

Lolly hope you're ok xx

Mistletoe that's really cute about your DD 😍

OP posts:
FraggleRock77 · 27/07/2017 12:07

Really nice to hear the physio has helped you feel a little better Raffles. I hope you spend the first few days just sat in your dressing gown MrsCrab?! It's great that your DD has that level of understanding Mistle. I think it's all a bit too abstract for our DS! You must be so happy to be back home Bear! I still can't believe that we are all nearly at the end, or the beginning, depending on how you look at it!
I've decided to go for 37 weeks. Seeing my consultant on Wed next week to discuss it further. Feel extremely guilt ridden and like everyone will judge me! I suppose i can always change my mind last minute x

Bear2014 · 27/07/2017 12:15

Please don't feel guilty. He could have come out weeks ago but he didn't! I'm 37+4 today and 100% confident if this baby was born today he would be at least 8lb and totally healthy.

It's amazing to be back home! Trying to alternate laundry and nesting stuff with sitting on the sofa!

OP posts:
RafflesMaidenSister · 27/07/2017 13:45

Fraggle, don't feel guilty. You matter too!
As Bear said, 37 weeks is fantastic, your baby could have been born weeks ago and you have protected and cared for him/her for a very long time to your significant detriment. No one can possibly think you are selfish.

Glad you're nesting Bear. Whenever people ask me if I'm nesting all I can think about is the way our lovely (but very disgusting) miniature dachshund burrows into anything soft left within reach for more than 10 seconds (dirty laundry, open suitcase) and refuses to get out. I am sort of doing the equivalent in amongst the remaining cardboard boxes Grin

FraggleRock77 · 28/07/2017 18:06

Thanks Bear and Raffles. I've decided to go for the 37 week date, but may change my mind last minute. I've just had enough! Just waiting to hear back from my consultant about a date but won't be until next week now. Wishing everyone a nice weekend x

mistletoeprickles · 29/07/2017 08:06

Morning ladies

Just checking in to see if there has been any new arrivals.

It's the last few days of being pregnant for which I am finding very odd.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xxx

Bear2014 · 29/07/2017 08:34

Eek mistletoe- exciting times! I'm 38 weeks tomorrow so well fed up.

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 29/07/2017 08:54

bear I'm 38 weeks today but it's a lot easier with the end in sight.
It's all very real. With DD I didn't know when she would appear so I'm finding it very odd that tomorrow will be my last day pregnant
