Thanks, Bear - I assumed it was! My mum keeps telling me that my days of certainty are over, but I could really do with knowing that there is an end in sight to the physical pain and discomfort. Also, last consultant I saw was not very confidence inspiring, which hasn't help.

I just need to get a grip.

Can't wait for news from Mistletoe!

Bear2014 · 20/07/2017 15:53

It's definitely true that you need to adjust to lack of certainty/control but if a health professional tells you they are putting a plan in place and then doesn't, that's just being messed around xx

So who's likely to be next? Bad times for me I'm afraid ladies. I was admitted to hospital about 5am this morning as I'd been heavily bleeding and in excruciating pain. I've got an infection in my womb and I'm waiting for a scan to see if it's caused by retained placenta. I've got to have intravenous antiobiotics for 48 hours and then if there is placenta I'll have to go into theatre. I'm so so upset. Being away from the twins and in so much pain. Feeling really down. 😓

FraggleRock77 · 20/07/2017 16:54

Oh that's super tough Lolly! You must be feeling awful. I really hope it's sorted with antibiotics and you don't have to have another operation. Sending lots of hugs xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 20/07/2017 17:07

Lolly, poor you. Good luck. Fingers crossed for the best.

MrsCrabtree · 20/07/2017 17:10

Oh god lolly, that's awful. You poor thing. Being away from them must be horrible. Keeping my fingers crossed for you - keep us updated if you can x

Bear2014 · 20/07/2017 17:31

Oh Lolly that is awful, thinking of you and hope they can resolve it for you smoothly. What a rough ride you have had! Xxx

Bad news. Having surgery this weekend to clear things out. Really upset.

RafflesMaidenSister · 20/07/2017 18:32

Lolly, so sorry. Must be very difficult. Are you stuck in hospital until then? Not a lot to say other than what rotten luck it is and I hope you're feeling better soon. Will be thinking about you. Xxx

FraggleRock77 · 20/07/2017 19:08

That's rubbish! But you're in the best place and hopefully you'll be home very soon. Must be absolutely devastating to be so restricted yet again!x

Bear2014 · 20/07/2017 20:02

So sorry Lolly. The babies need you back to full strength so it needs to be done but must be very hard. Good luck and will be thinking of you xx

Lolly2803 · 20/07/2017 20:39

Yep have to stay in as they can't do my surgery until my infection has improved as it's too high risk and I could end up with a hole in my womb!!!

MrsCrabtree · 20/07/2017 21:44

How rubbish lolly Sad can you still have the twins in to visit at least? How miserable for you all but so important to get it sorted and hopefully it will all pass quickly xx

Lolly2803 · 20/07/2017 22:00

Yes they've said I can and I think I will. I am just nervous about them picking something up. Although I miss them desperately already.
Just can't wait to feel better. xxx

Blueroses99 · 20/07/2017 23:18

Good luck Misteltoe!

Lolly I'm sorry that your going through that. I had a friend that had the same issue with retained tissue very recently, after the surgery she was home with her baby pretty quickly. I hope it clears up soon.

I'm back in hospital too tomorrow Sad Aviana needs eye surgery. It's come as a surprise as I presumed when they said they were going to refer us to another hospital because her eyes were getting worse, I would be getting an appointment, not booked in for surgery on the other side of London tomorrow. So hard to take her back to hospital when we finally got her out.

RafflesMaidenSister · 21/07/2017 05:09

Oh no, Blue! Very good luck to Aviana. So tough for all of you. Hope it goes well. Xxx

Bear2014 · 21/07/2017 13:44

So sorry lolly and blue, what a rough time! Really hope the surgeries go well and both your little families are back together as soon as possible.

Hope it's all going well mistletoe!

MrsCrabtree · 22/07/2017 07:20

Hope things are going ok for you lolly and for aviana, Blue.

Hope you're alright Mistletoe!

Bear2014 · 22/07/2017 10:44

Thinking of you Lolly, Blue and Mistletoe! Hope everyone else is ok too.

We're getting back in our house on Weds - it won't be nearly finished but I'm relieved! I technically have just under 3 weeks to go but i kind of feel like a ticking baby time bomb so who knows!

Congrats Bear, that's fab! Must be a load off your mind.

Midwife this afternoon with stern face, so wish me luck.

mistletoeprickles · 22/07/2017 15:02

Just a quick update, I'll pop back later when I've had some sleep.

I am home having successfully had labour stopped. With baby being under 37 weeks we made the decision to keep him in a bit longer. So I am now on bed rest hoping I reach section date xxx

FraggleRock77 · 22/07/2017 16:01

Glad you're ok Mistletoe. You must be exhausted?! Are you on bedrest now until your section date?
Hope all is going well Lolly/Blue xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 22/07/2017 17:28

Well done Mistletoe! Understand the drugs are not very pleasant so hope you're not feeling too bad.

You still hanging in there Fraggle.

RafflesMaidenSister · 22/07/2017 17:28

Sorry, you still hanging in there Fraggle?

FraggleRock77 · 22/07/2017 19:55

I am Raffles!!! In pain and super fed up. Praying for spontaneous labour on Tues! Will cry all day if not! How did your appointment go with the MW?x
