Well done for all the packing! Good to have it done. Hope your hips etc a bit less achy, late pregnancy is no fun is it Sad

Our little dude was very active indeed yesterday, it was constant fidgeting! I'm not optimistic that there has been any kind of rotation though as it's still just pressure on the right, kicks on the lower left.

I'm much less achy today although this glorious weather isn't helping my swollen feet and swollen, carpel tunnelled hands! How are you ladies doing?

You never know Bear he might have moved. He still has a while to figure out his final position so I'm hopeful for you!

Bear2014 · 24/05/2017 20:23

I know, it's boiling!!

Yeah he might move and he might not but I'm not going to let it dominate this time. With DD i was totally obsessed with trying to get her to move and focussed on it day in day out for weeks. Haven't got the energy for that this time, especially with the knowledge it did nothing anyway xx

Lolly2803 · 24/05/2017 20:43

Yer that's a good attitude. What will be will be!
How are you getting on commuting in this weather? Hope you're feeling ok.
Currently sat with my feet raised but going to soak them in cold water before I go to bed tonight!

RafflesMaidenSister · 24/05/2017 20:55

Glad to hear everyone's still hanging in there! Have you tried Designated Survivor on Netflix Fraggle? Mr RMS really liked it and I enjoyed it too. Also Big Little Lies if you have Sky - that was fab.

Been a mixed week here. Mr RMS and I have had a bit of a blip. Hopefully not fatal but I'm still really upset. He's capable of being a drama queen and I could do without at the mo. Also still on antibiotics for toe as second dr said first dr had given me wrong antibiotics. Not particularly encouraging.

On the plus side my niece finally has a name, fig has been bouncing about like nobody's business and have managed to get lots of practical sorting out done.

Fingers crossed for those with appointments tomorrow.

FraggleRock77 · 24/05/2017 21:07

Thanks Raffles. I'm totally hooked on watching period dramas at present. Can't beat a LOTS of Colin Firth when in bed prison!! What a pain about your toe! So annoying. Glad you're feeling better Lolly! ITS TOO WARM!! Pleased I've not got a glow egg to worry about tonight!!x

Lolly2803 · 24/05/2017 21:26

We've watched designated survivor! It's good but weird seeing "Jack Bauer" as president (ignore me if you've not watched 24!)
Can also recommend Big Little Lies. Good Luck tomorrow Fraggle, keep us posted but hopefully all is well.

Sorry to hear Mr RMS is being a pain, not what you need! I'm sure it will all be ok though, lots going on at the moment which probably just heightens things. Annoying about the antibiotics! Can't believe they have you the wrong ones!! Hopefully now it will heal super fast. Great you've got a wriggly baby. It's so reassuring isn't it.
I was watching my tummy move and wiggle earlier and really made me smile.

Just dipped my feet in the cold bath and it's really helped my swollen feet. They've gone right down which is good. xxx

Bear2014 · 24/05/2017 22:06

Sorry to hear that, raffles - hope you can sort it out. Pregnancy etc is such an intense time, especially after infertility. Doesn't always bring out the best in people Sad xx

We've caned Designated Survivor too, so entertaining! Loads of new stuff coming next week, House of Cards, OITNB, Bloodline.. you can tell we don't get out much Grin very glad to be living in the age of Netflix/Prime/Deliveroo while in our baby years.

Commuting in the heat is no fun but I'm being v assertive about getting a seat. Not that I probably need to be, given the size of me. People are probably worried I'll go into labour!!

OP posts:
RafflesMaidenSister · 25/05/2017 08:36

Thanks, guys. Think it will be ok. On the whole he's a good bloke - which is all most of us manage - and I'm not an easy person to be married to. Don't think it's made easier that we live apart so much for work either. That will get better after the fig arrives though.

Swollen feet suck! As does summer commuting. Not long for some of you now!

Good luck today Fraggle.

FraggleRock77 · 25/05/2017 12:53

Hello. Hope everyone's surviving in this heat? Scanned today and I've had no further deterioration! In fact it has improved a little! Bedrest is clearly helping, we think, who knows?! Melting in bed!!!!x

Bear2014 · 25/05/2017 13:03

Great news Fraggle! Such rubbish bed-rest weather but sounds like it's paying off for you. Just imagine all the lovely walks round the park when baby is here!

Commute is hideous in the heat but when you actually get to the office they have air con so it's a trade off!

OP posts:
RafflesMaidenSister · 25/05/2017 14:41

Congrats Fraggle! Hope you don't melt completely.

MrsCrabtree · 25/05/2017 14:58

Great news Fraggle! Hope you're feeling ok Raffles Flowers
Not loving the commute in the heat... to an office with no aircon!! Shock also struggling with things to wear but reaaaally don't want to spend extra money on maternity clothes.
Got rushed in for a growth scan yesterday after midwife thought bump was too small - but all ok, cheeky baby measuring right on the average line. Lovely to see him/her again though. Got a bit tearful as it still seems unbelievable we are actually expecting a real life baby and it might work out ok.
Hope you're ok lolly, bear, elles x

Lolly2803 · 25/05/2017 15:33

Wahoo well done Fraggle that's great news!! All paying off and as Bear says you'll soon be strolling around in the sunshine with baby Fraggle.
Mrs Crab I know what you mean. I still can't believe this could actually be ok and happen. All seems surreal. Nobody had measured my bump - is that an issue?
I've been in my mums garden today with my feet in the paddling pool with my niece occasionally pouring water over me. Is nice actually although when I'm not sat on the sofa alone I never feel the twins as much but have felt them a bit so need to stop worrying I think.
I feel for you ladies commuting, get some nice ice lollies and a cool bath for when you get in. xxx

Bear2014 · 25/05/2017 15:51

Paddling pool sounds like bliss! We bought a new one so might dig that out tomorrow Grin

That sounds stressful MrsCrab! Good that all ok. Start believing it my dear, a baby is on the way and you'll never sleep again - ha ha! (It's all amazing really)

I think it's an optical illusion half of the time.. I'm measuring bang on where I should be but I look effing MASSIVE and everyone keeps saying so, thanks everyone Wink Lolly - measurements would be off with twins so they probably don't bother doing it as you have extra scans.

OP posts:
FraggleRock77 · 25/05/2017 15:58

That does sound stressful Raffles! I think the whole bump measuring thing seems outdated to me, like dangling a coin over your tummy to guess the sex!!! At least you got to see the baby again though.
Paddling pool, iced water, lollies, need, need and NEED!xxx

ellesbellesxxx · 25/05/2017 20:52

Hello everyone!
Sheesh it's hot... I have spent this evening in a vest top and pants.. hoping no unexpected visitors turn up!
Ah Fraggle so pleased no further deterioration.. you must be Boiling :(
Lolly don't worry, no bump measurements as it won't be able to track growth.. the growth scans do the job! My midwife has done it but only out of curiosity each time to see how much I have grown!
Crabtree glad scan went ok.. I totally hear you about getting emosh! We went to next to get some first size outfits (in case twins don't fit the tiny clothes we had) and both got choked up!
Bear RESPECT commuting in this!!!!! Glad you are being assertive about getting a seat!
Raffles hope you are doing ok x
Blue.. I read your blog every day :)

As for us.. induction has been brought forward.. to Saturday! Been in way too many times for twin ones reduced movement so they aren't going to push it.
Am 36 weeks so happy with that.. eeeeeeek!

FraggleRock77 · 25/05/2017 21:22

Wow Elles! Exciting!!!! Best of luck xx

MrsCrabtree · 25/05/2017 21:29
