Think you'll be fine - it's a very small risk anyway and must be non existent or virtually so after cooking!

I forgot the other day and was stuffing Parma ham down my throat. It's hard to remember all the time!

I've - unpregnancy related - got an infected toe. Got penicillin which I feel a bit guilty about but I can't actually put a shoe on so think it's necessary. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Bear2014 · 12/05/2017 22:10

I'm pretty naughty with the food guidelines, I eat all sorts of stuff I probably shouldn't Blushyou'll definitely be fine with it cooked though. Owch Raffles!!

Phew!
Ouch Raffles that sounds so painful. I broke my toe once and remember I couldn't wear a shoe for a few weeks. Just kept throbbing and it was so annoying. Hope it clears up soon. Not what you need!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!! xx

ellesbellesxxx · 14/05/2017 16:26

Oo Raffles ouchy that sounds sore :(

So I have had first dose of steroids and going in tonight for next dose.. should be having Doppler and growth scan this week, as well as consultant.. they are seriously thinking about bringing forward induction now due to reduced movement with twin one... it's a bit scary but ultimately want them to be in safest place.
Hope you are all having good weekend xxxxx

ellesbellesxxx · 14/05/2017 16:26

Oh Lolly good luck for tomorrow xxx

Lolly2803 · 14/05/2017 17:28

Hey Elles, is that because you've noticed the reduced movement or is it the Doppler showing issues too? I'm sure you're in safe hands and all will be well. Any ideas when you'll be induced?
I'll be thinking of you! Xxx

ellesbellesxxx · 14/05/2017 18:16

Hello you
It's because I have been in 8 times for reduced movement for one twin.. last Doppler at 27 weeks was fine but they want another asap.. eek!
It's really hard to judge it as she has been busier today, but still quiet.. especially compared to little man! Will see what they say tonight when go in for jab. They are talking about next week so when heading towards 36w but guess it depends on how this week goes...
Will be thinking of you tomorrow! Let us know xxx

Bear2014 · 14/05/2017 20:14

Good luck tomorrow Lolly!

Elles how scary and exiting! You're at a really good gestation now and had steroids so all should be well whatever happens. Good luck!! Xx

Good luck Elles and Lolly x

RafflesMaidenSister · 14/05/2017 22:50

Good luck Elles and Lolly.
Hope you're doing ok Fraggle.
Hope everyone else is too.
Managed proper shoes today so antibiotics seem to be working. Hoping for some happy updates in the next week. Xxx

MrsCrabtree · 15/05/2017 07:32

Good luck today lolly and this week elles. Exciting! Hope you're ok Fraggle and glad your foots on the mend Raffles. Thinking of you Blue if you still check in. Hope you're alright Bear! We started thinking about decorating the nursery this weekend, feels exciting xx

Lolly2803 · 15/05/2017 07:44

So glad everyone seems to be reporting good news, feeling better and getting organised!!
Elles as Bear said that's a really good gestation so I wouldn't worry at all. I'm sure my consultant said they only give the steroids if born before 34 weeks so even better news for you as bit of an extra boost! You must be so excited and a bit nervous but all sounds good. Let me know how Doppler goes.
I hate monitoring movement. I can hardly tell which one is moving!! Worried I am going to miss something important!
Scan is at. 4.30 so lots of time to worry myself silly today. Shall keep you all posted of course! xxx

FraggleRock77 · 15/05/2017 13:27

Thanks Mrs Crab and Raffles. Sounds really painful Raffles?! Is your foot feeling better today? I'm good thanks. Embracing bedrest x

Bear2014 · 15/05/2017 13:37

Glad you're embracing it, Fraggle. Hope your DS is being good to you.

Thinking of you, Lolly and Elles. FWIW I had barely any meaningful movement from DD after 34 weeks purely as she was so huge and there was no space. So it's not necessarily anything sinister, especially with 2 of them in there. Can't imagine how crowded it must be in there.

Hope your foot is feeling better Raffles.

I'm good, but definitely slowing down. I made the mistake of going out with a friend with newborn and a friend with a sprained knee and our toddlers on Friday. Talk about the blind leading the blind. I ended up chasing a runaway 3 year old (not mine) down Streatham High Road after he escaped from the Tesco cafe. It's funny now but at the time I can't believe I managed to move so fast and I was in a blind panic! Might have to choose my day trips more carefully in future Grin

Aw Bear that sounds scary! Quick reactions and kids I guess you just go into auto pilot. I think you need to start slowing down for sure. I had a busy weekend and am really paying for it. I'm sore everywhere in my legs and arms and just absolutely shattered! Can't imagine running around after a toddler as well!!

Yer I'd say the kicks are less forceful but I can feel like rolling or wiggle and a few kicks. Let's see what today shows! xxx

Bear2014 · 15/05/2017 14:04

Let's just say I've lowered my standards greatly for house cleanliness, and DD knows her way around her very own Netflix profile!

Lolly2803 · 15/05/2017 14:11

Hahahaha. Brilliant!!

Lolly2803 · 15/05/2017 17:58

All good with the twins!! They've completely changed position so took a bit to see which was 1&2 but all good and no worries. Twin 1 Femur still smaller than normal but growing normally. Next scan in 3 weeks! xxxx

Bear2014 · 15/05/2017 18:04
