Mrs Crabtree think they say they don't tend to have a pattern until 27/28 weeks xx

Lolly2803 · 10/05/2017 22:24

Yer thing is the pattern hasn't changed. If anything there's more movement. Twin 2 has always been quiet and with the placenta on the front it's always been much quieter than Twin 1. If I don't feel anything from Twin 2 then I will go in but have felt things from that side today. It's SO hard though!
Especially as I said when the movement and kicking is in the middle as it could be either of them! Or them kicking each other which they often do on scans!!

How you doing now Elles? xxx

ellesbellesxxx · 11/05/2017 05:35

It's so so hard I totally get you! I have been in the last two days in a row.. literally not making any plans now in case need to keep going in!
In the middle yep I hear you.. it's a mass of limbs so who knows?!
Induction is booked for 31st if they don't come before.. I really can't wait to meet them... I am crying a lot at the moment Blush my husband is being amazing but I know he doesn't know quite what to do with me!

FraggleRock77 · 11/05/2017 06:38

You poor thing Elles. Must be so stressful. Hang in there xxx

Bear2014 · 11/05/2017 08:12

Wow ellesbelles such exciting times! Can only imagine how stressful it must be - hang in there! Try to enjoy it if at all possible and relax a bit, you will need the rest xx

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 08:13

Aw Elles not long to go! Guess it must be a bit surreal the thought of them being here so soon!! Mix of emotions, including a bit of fear!!
Yer it's so hard but I'll def go in if I notice a change. Just want it to be Monday already xxx

ellesbellesxxx · 11/05/2017 09:33

Oh you guys are so lovely, thank you.

Lots of box sets for next three weeks me thinks!
Hope you are all ok xxxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 11/05/2017 15:08

Good luck elles! Bet you can't wait to meet them now.

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 15:27

Has anyone had any period type pains? Well not necessarily pain just had some period type aches today at various points. Is that normal? xxx

FraggleRock77 · 11/05/2017 16:35

Sorry to hear that Lolly. I'm not the best person to offer advice I'm afraid, in my situation. Can you call the MW to query?x

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 16:45

I phoned them. They said to take two paracetamol and just rest for a few hours. Then to call back if stays the same or gets worse.
xxxx

FraggleRock77 · 11/05/2017 16:48

Sounds sensible. Just be pro-active if you're worried. How many weeks are you now?x

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 16:58

I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow! Hope it's just nothing! But hadn't felt it before so guess its always best to check.
How are you doing? xxx

FraggleRock77 · 11/05/2017 17:11

Always best to check. I had a two week scan post stitch today. I've funnelled down to the stitch now but my stitch is holding and i have cervix that's closed below the stitch. Baby looked good and is a good size already. On bed rest for another two weeks until I'm scanned again. It's scary but there are some positives and things could be a lot worse x

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 17:21

That's good that the stitch is holding up and cervix is closed. Just got to rest up. How many weeks are you? Good you're being closely monitored as well. xxx

FraggleRock77 · 11/05/2017 17:30

24+4 weeks. We are getting lots of oversight. Our consultant said today, have a very low threshold for anything feeling odd though and come in straight away. I said everything feels bloody odd! I did joke i would be in daily from now on!x

FraggleRock77 · 11/05/2017 17:34

Has your pain stopped Lolly?x

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 17:34

That's good the weeks are just ticking by and you're over 24 weeks! Yes def if anything feels odd just go in always best to be safe. xxx

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 17:57

Yer I think it has gone now. Getting some sharp pains down below when I move into some positions but think that just usual pains.
Xxx

ellesbellesxxx · 11/05/2017 20:49

Hmm I would definitely take it easy Lolly.. a friend (also expecting twins) was actually getting contractions but they were irregular.. usually paracetamol and sleep would send them off.
Ah Fraggle, glad scan went well and baby is a good size... hope you are doing ok, bedrest must be getting wearing.. although obviously worth it.
Afm just been back and both head down again..today's consultant took it seriously though and said I should be feeling them boTh and if not, then maybe something will have to be done sooner than planned. They have moved my growth scan forward to next week to assess growth then go from there xx

RafflesMaidenSister · 11/05/2017 21:01

Hope you're OK Lolly.

Fraggle - the bed rest must be so frustrating, but at least the situation has stabilised. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Hope everyone else is well.

Bear2014 · 11/05/2017 21:33

Hi Lolly glad the pain has subsided now. Could be Braxton Hicks maybe. Did your belly go really hard too? Not nice.

Glad the cervix is holding up, Fraggle, hang in there!

Just chugged my nightly gaviscon, it's all glamour this pregnancy lark.

Lolly2803 · 11/05/2017 22:34

I've been taking it very easy and am relaxing not doing much most days. The paracetamol got rid of it so that's good. To be honest my tummy is always really hard so it's difficult to tell. Wish I knew what these things felt like!!
Elles how is the growth of the twins? All ok? Good you're being monitored, they'll decide when is best to get them out so just got to trust them. Scary though. I'm really scared about Monday's scan. Never know what the situation will be!
Bear I've been suffering with the heartburn too but these tablets the Dr gave me work wonders and it goes within a few mins. I can find you the name if it's of any use?
xxx

Bear2014 · 12/05/2017 07:59

I'm seeing the midwife next week (not seen anyone since 16 weeks!) so will hit her for a prescription then. Gaviscon just about doing the trick atm but getting expensive. Take it easy today!! X

OP posts:
Lolly2803 · 12/05/2017 20:26

Yer these tablets have done the trick for me so hopefully you'll get something similar too. Been resting today and am ok. Although had a bacon, leek and Roquefort tart for dinner - cooked and hot but just realised I'm not meant to eat that!!
NHS website says it's ok if it's cooked through. It's one of those ones from Waitrose that already cooked and you can eat hot or cold so hopefully it's ok. It was very hot when I ate it!
