Hello!
Any one else received their first BFP this month!? I am 4+5. Due November 10 and would love to talk to some other first time mummies as every twinge and niggle sends me into panic at the moment!! I'm sure I'm not the only one...

Mean scan not can obviously!

MistyBxx · 12/03/2017 21:23

True! Oh I'm certainly hoping it says 3+ weeks tomoz morning then!
Does anyone "feel" pregnant? I know it's impossible to feel anything going on in there but I've had an almost constant twinge pinchy pain very low above my foof, and of course my boobs have been agony throughout, although no other symptoms. I don't want morning sickness... well maybe a little bit but not loads 😂

Jessiecat27 · 12/03/2017 21:30

Misty I've been feeling the twinges too, absolutely exhausted, getting up to pee in the middle of the night and I think the nausea is starting to set in. Wondering whether I'm further along than I thought because this seems so early!

sophr2017 · 12/03/2017 21:33

The needing to wee all the time thing is so frustrating!! I drive for my job and have become very accustomed with all the service stations and places I can stop to pee 🙈

Moo31 · 12/03/2017 21:36

Re feeling pregnant - my tummy is so heavy and bloated. Never mind feeling pregnant I think I look pregnant! Oh has just mentioned there are twins in his family (distantly - a great uncle who I have never met) so I am crazily googling "pregnancy bump 5 weeks multiples" eek!

Also the needing to wee - I never used to get up in the night to wee and it's doing my head in! I really struggle to get back to sleep after getting up!

mrsjkerry · 12/03/2017 21:40

I find I need to wee in the afternoon misty but not the night time. My boobs are very heavy and big but not really sore. I don't have any other symptoms and don't feel particular pregnant! Like you though I'll be doing a clearblue tomorrow to check it's gone up to 3+!!

Awesome mrsjkerry lets check in in the morning.
I don't notice I'm peeing so much more but Im a heavy sleeper and have noticed I've been waking up at 5am absolutely bursting!
I look a few months gone too girls, but I'm sure I've read somewhere it's normal to bloat but that it should go down a bit?
I do have an unexplained pregnant "feeling" though lol I don't know what it is but I just do 😂

mrsjkerry · 12/03/2017 22:03

I did feel pregnant but now I don't know if I do. A bit like how I felt married all during the honeymoon and first week back but 6 months later just feel normal. I guess it's the excitement wearing off? Hope so!

I guessed I was pregnant as I was up in the night about 4 times to go to the loo. Then tried to convince myself I must have uti as there is no way that I could be pregnant!

mrsjkerry · 13/03/2017 06:50

So the night toileting got me! Twice last night. Tested again today. Guess things are developing in there...!😄

Yay mrsk GrinGrinGrin

MistyBxx · 13/03/2017 07:12

Girls I'm actually crying. What shall I do? I was 2-3 when I first tested 9 days ago. Does this mean my baby isn't developing properly?? Who can I speak to about this when a midwife won't even see me for another 3 weeks x

mrsjkerry · 13/03/2017 07:21

No misty it might just mean you were at the lower end last time and now you're at the top end. I tested first and got 1-2 weeks and then the next day 2-3 weeks. So wait a few more days you may just need another day or two to roll into week 3! Don't panic!!

OP posts:
Tonks87 · 13/03/2017 07:24

Misty try not to panic. I think hormones vary so much at this early stage that what's 'normal' at 3+ weeks isn't the same 'normal' for someone else. As long as you haven't had crippling cramps or bleeding then there's no real reason to worry, easier said than done I know.

MistyBxx · 13/03/2017 07:24

Oh do you think?? I was literally in floods of tears then, I thought I was gonna have a panic attack. Frantically trying to work out my dates again but you could be right. Does the test go from implantation??
Congrats on the 3+ by the way!🙌🏼❤️

MistyBxx · 13/03/2017 07:26

No Tonks nothing like that. Twinges down below pretty much every day but nowhere near crippling. And no blood thank god. I didn't realise how in love I could be with a "ball of cells" the size of an orange seed. But I am and I'm terrified.xx

Tonks87 · 13/03/2017 07:31

It's completely normal to worry, we're all the same. I got up needing the loo twice on Saturday night but not even once last night. Literally my first thought when I woke up was, 'oh my god what's wrong, why didn't I need to get up to wee in the night!'

MistyBxx · 13/03/2017 07:37

It's mad isn't it. I think I'm going to ring the midwife again this morning and just tell her I'm worrying. See if she can calm me down a bit you know. Coz stressing and crying is gonna be no good for my little seed 🙈

Sakura03 · 13/03/2017 07:46

Congrats on the 3+ Mrsj
Misty wait a couple of days and do another test, like its be said you're probably in the lower end so should see a change.
I've been counting like mad because I wanted to make sure that I'd moved up a week and I have.
Theotherend congrats, it's terrifying when you've had a mc (mine's nearly two years ago at 5w3), but this is such a lovely thread so you're in the right place.
Jessie are you testing too this morning?

mrsjkerry · 13/03/2017 07:53

Yeh misty you could have been 2+0 and now 3+2 today or something and it wouldn't give you a 3+

MistyBxx · 13/03/2017 08:03

Thanks all. Back down Tesco tonight now and gonna buy another set of clearblue. Won't test again now til Wednesday and Friday this week then (if I can bear waiting)xx

Sakura03 · 13/03/2017 08:22

My Nespresso coffee tasted really strange this morning, I went and checked that I hadn't put a flavoured pod in by mistake but no its my ordinary pod... well I had to chuck it out it was that bad😂😂😂
Oh well herbal teas it is thenSmile

Jessiecat27 · 13/03/2017 08:22

sakura well I've decided not to test again but instead I've rang my gp so I'm just waiting for a call back to be referred for blood tests! I'm too scared to do another test incase it comes back negative, silly I know after having three bfp's! Blush this is all so exciting and nerve wracking at the same time!

MrsB12345 · 13/03/2017 08:45

This is my first pregnancy too. We fell the first time we tried so I ask myself a number of times a day "what the f**k?!" 😂 still can't get my head round it as I'm 35, hubby 38 - both recently stopped smoking and since getting married last year haven't been overly healthy and both overweight. Really excited though x

Jessiecat27 · 13/03/2017 09:00

Congratulations MrsB! We did too! Still in shock! Is anyone secretly hoping for a boy or girl? My Oh couldn't help but tell a few people already and everyone said straight away a boy which is what we would like 🙈
