Hello!
Any one else received their first BFP this month!? I am 4+5. Due November 10 and would love to talk to some other first time mummies as every twinge and niggle sends me into panic at the moment!! I'm sure I'm not the only one...

@Squigglefish how long did it take? I'm on a 23 hour shift Monday but my boss had said I can leave work for a bit to go to it, thankfully my doctors is a 5 minute walk from work, xxx

sophr2017 · 31/03/2017 12:13

Ew it's long! Mine took 1hr 20 mins, your company legally have to let you take the time off for it anyway!

Squigglefish · 31/03/2017 12:26

ew yeah mine took about an hour. The worst bit was not knowing when she was coming. My appointment was between 1pm and 4pm so I took a half day x

Tillums · 31/03/2017 12:28

Darcy your scan is beautiful!!! Congratulations xx

MSH congrats on the twins! You must be delighted. I would love to have twins. All my friends say that only someone without any children would wish for twins but I really do think that would be magic!!

Misty I am so glad there is still hope for you. There is none for me now, I've been bleeding very heavily yesterday and today (sorry if tmi)
I'm in a bit of pain but not as bad as my last mc as it's so much earlier. Two mc's in 4 months worries me though. The NHS won't investigate until three though. Why do we have to go through this three times before we get any help?!!!

Anyway Misty try to enjoy your little break. I'm in South Wales too, I wonder how close we are?

Sending love to you all xxx

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one then feeling like this. I was stressing yesterday evening.

Nicolemccurryx · 31/03/2017 13:18

Hi guys first ever pregnancy what's a BFP !! I had some bleeding yesterday went to a&e and they've referred me to a scan tomorrow it's a brown colour today and much much lighter I've got no pain and my tests results all came back fine should I be worried

ew1990 · 31/03/2017 13:32

@Nicolemccurryx I would try and stay positive I've heard of women bleeding and everything being fine, I think as long as the blood isn't red like a period it's ok? Don't quote me on it though xx

Tillums · 31/03/2017 14:15

THirdEeye Thank you xxx

Nicolemccurryx read this, it might help x

mrsjkerry · 31/03/2017 14:17

@Nicolemccurryx how many weeks are you? Couldn't it just be implantation.

OP posts:
Nicolemccurryx · 31/03/2017 16:19

I'm about 11 weeks they're changing my scan to tomorrow I'm not sure is it possible to last 2 days

Nicolemccurryx · 31/03/2017 16:20

It was bright red yesterday no clots though then today it's a dark brown

mrsjkerry · 31/03/2017 19:12

lydiangel83 · 31/03/2017 21:00

@mrsjkerry join the club isn't it rubbish? I was waking up in the night feeling sick. I had it from literally day 1 and people kept asking if I was pregnant and I genuinely didn't think I was! I am very grateful to have had a BFP and just hope it gets better soon - I'm eating so. I hope carbs and chocolate and no nutrients!

Nicolemccurryx · 31/03/2017 22:11

Can someone help me I was on here earlier I went to hospital with bleeding yesterday it wasn't flowing but heavier than what I imagined spotting would be it then went very light after a hour or so then this morning was a brown colour too nothing there at all now tonight around the same time I have bleeding again red no pain but after half an hour its not as heavy is it possible to have spotting that's moe like a very light period bleed that lasts two days

ew1990 · 31/03/2017 22:14

I have no experience of spotting or bleeding during pregnancy so I wouldn't like to say, xx

Nicolemccurryx · 31/03/2017 22:20

Someone please help I'm very worried I had bleeding yesterday and im around 11 weeks went to a&e and I have a scan tomorrow at 10am my bleeding stopped after a while but it wasn't what I thought spotting would be then this morning I had brown spotting then around 8 I went to toilet tonight to find the same as yesterday quite a bit of blood but then it stopped and was only dots not its came back not as heavy but heavier than spotting it's quite dark blood is it possible this is spotting or placenta moving of something

sophr2017 · 31/03/2017 22:32

Nicole, I don't have any experience so again can't comment, but if it were me then I would call the emergence midwife number that they gave me on the front of my yellow midwife book, do you have that? Hope you're ok x

Moo31 · 31/03/2017 22:43

Nicole I don't have any experience either but hope you're OK. As soph says maybe call emergency midwife or even your local epu?

Nicolemccurryx · 31/03/2017 22:46

Hey honey I have a scan in the morning so il wait it out already been to hospital all they done was take blood and ran tests hopefully it's just heavy spotting and nothing too serious
