Hello!
Any one else received their first BFP this month!? I am 4+5. Due November 10 and would love to talk to some other first time mummies as every twinge and niggle sends me into panic at the moment!! I'm sure I'm not the only one...

Hi ladies. Just been catching up on the days posts. Good luck @MistyBxx. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and wondering if I should book one for next weekend?

I went on the the C&G baby club site and requested an info / starter pack - it's free. Look what I got #loveafreebie

My scan yesterday at 7+3 was really clear!
kaydee I have a really bloated and round tummy. Someone has already guessed!

NiceCuppaTeaAndASitDown · 23/03/2017 17:41

MrsB, have you joined the boots parenting club as well?
10 points per £1 on baby products rather than the usual 4, and apparently my welcome gift will arrive in 4 weeks!

MistyBxx · 23/03/2017 18:04

Hi girlies well I'm here sat outside the clinic! Made really good time so I'm half hour early lol but I was absolutely painfully bursting for a wee half way here so I had to stop or I would have actually wet myself. But drunk half a litre of water and hoping it will make its way to my bladder by 18:40! Also got a bottle of lucozade I'm necking as well 🙈 I'm so nervous. Will be back on later xxx

tmc14 · 23/03/2017 18:08

Good luck Misty! Hope you get a clear picture. Glad other early scans have gone well 😀

Can I ask, is anyone else's digestion really messed up? TMI (sorry) but only just made it to the rank bus station toilets on the way home today... i seem to be either constipated or have diarrhoea. Really unpleasant!!

MrsB12345 · 23/03/2017 18:19

@tmc14 I have a dodgy tummy too. It's normal apparently Blush

tmc14 · 23/03/2017 18:35

That's comforting to hear MrsB. But also hope you're not feeling too rough!

sophr2017 · 23/03/2017 18:39

I've got that too MrsB, love the diary thing that came with it!

I'm the opposite with the toilet, I'm just not going half as much as I used to and am getting quite constipated which I have never really had!

I'm glad we can chat about these things 😂My DH gets a bit fed up with my body/poo chat 😂

mrsjkerry · 23/03/2017 18:42

Soph I just spent 20 mins on toilet and got barely anything out 😩

When this happened before I ate fruit and lentils. The thought of eating that now 🤢

So after a couple of days of "processing" I'm ready to join to lovely ladies! BFP on Monday Grin

tmc14 · 23/03/2017 18:55

Love some toilet chat 😆

Congratulations MrsC!

sophr2017 · 23/03/2017 19:16

Congrats MrsC!

Mrsj if it's carries on I'm going to speak to my midwife next time I speak to her! Not even sure what we can take for it! Hopefully it'll calm down as it goes on!

Peppercorn17 · 23/03/2017 19:27

Hello ladies,

Hope it's okay to join you- I'm exactly 5 weeks today having tested at the weekend after I was late last week- so due date 23/11. Reading all your posts has been really reassuring as many of you are suffering with similar symptoms to me- cramps/bowel movements/ really weird dreams! I am also thirsty all the time which isn't helping with the increasing trips to the toilet! Only myself and DH (and the cat) know at the moment, still processing but think I will have to tell my mum on Sunday as going out for Mothers Day so it will be obvious to her when I refuse all opportunities for a glass of wine!

Sakura03 · 23/03/2017 20:00

Welcome MrsC and Peppercorn😊

ew1990 · 23/03/2017 21:03

Welcome @Peppercorn17 @MrsC1982, girls I've been rough today, morning sickness well and truly kicked in this morning, luckily I finished work at half 3 today instead of half 7, got home and fell asleep for four hours, hope I can sleep tonight now, how's everyone else? Xx

MistyBxx · 23/03/2017 21:50

Hey girlies. I hope you're ready for a long one! Here is my news from tonight (I've just copied and pasted it from whatsapp which I just sent to my friend from work lol)

Ok so here is the deal. She couldn't see anything. She did and external and internal scan and all she could note was that there is an amniotic sac present. No visible yolk sac. No visible embryo. No visible heartbeat.
She has given me one of 2 options: Either my dates are wrong and I'm not as far ahead as I thought (although I've been trying for 6 months like and I've noted everything possible so I can't see how I've miscalculated)
OR it's invisible because it's not there and has died before it even grew into anything remotely visible.
So I have to have another scan in 7 days - if everything is going ok, embryos grow so quickly at this stage, it WILL be visible in the next scan. If it's still not there... well. That will be my answer.
And she can't even rule out ectopic yet because it's so small, she can't see for definite that it's implanted in the right place.
But while she was up there, she noticed something else... a big cyst on my left ovary 😩She asked if I've got endometriosis and I said not that I'm aware of, and she was amazed when I said I haven't noticed any particular pain on my left side during my period. I've only been off the pill 6 months so even though my periods have been more painful than before, I just assumed it has been because the pill hides "normal" period symptoms and that without the pill, I was just experiencing proper periods for the first time in 15 years. But nope, she said it's quite serious.
So the bottom line is, I've got to see the doctor tomorrow emergency appt, and she has also referred me to the EPU because she thinks with the cyst and the "empty" sac, I should be a candidate for early scans and extra help on the NHS.
So mega mixed feelings tonight. Part of me wants to believe I've miscalculated and somehow I'm only like 5 weeks... but the logical part of me is pretty sure that's not the case. I've still got that "2-3 weeks" on the clearblue ringing in my mind when I should defo have been 3-4 or 3+ or whatever the higher reading is. Either way, in 7 days time, I will know for sure whether my baby is alive or not. Or whether it ever even got off the starting line. Add to that the worry of this fucking thing on my ovary that I never even knew I had. How long has it been there to be 4.2cm??? And has it damaged that ovary beyond repair? She mentioned something about scarring and deterioration of the tissue but I think I switched off. Either way she said the GP will explain more and refer me for more tests on that too.
Fucksake like xxx

So yeah. Bundle of laughs tonight 🙈 this is such a positive thread, I don't want to be depressing or bring anyone down but I can't help feeling a bit shit 😳xx

Peppercorn17 · 23/03/2017 23:54

Hi Misty,

Have just joined this thread but didn't want to read and run, what a rubbish day for you. Sending all positive vibes for the Drs tomorrow and the EPU. Fingers crossed Xx

MistyBxx · 24/03/2017 00:05

Thanks pepper chick. I feel a bit numb tonight but hopefully the docs will answer some questions tomoz!
Catch you all tomorrow girlies xx

mrsjkerry · 24/03/2017 02:56

Misty was asleep when you posted this but keep waking up in middle of night unable to sleep 🙄

Let us hope that your dates are wrong - like you said you don't really know when you ovulated so you may be earlier than you think if you ovulated late in your cycle. It's entirely possible! So fingers crossed for the next scan...hopefully something has developed!

It's good you went for a scan then to have picked up the cyst. If all turns out ok, you'll benefit now from the extra help and earlier scans which will be so useful. You'll be fine misty. At least it's been picked up now and steps are in place to sort you out. You'll have to let us know how you get on today (Friday) at the doctors.

Thinking of you and sending positive and hopeful vibes xxx

mrsjkerry · 24/03/2017 06:39

@Squigglefish for your scan at 7+3 were you 7+3 from date of missed period? As in, technically you're only 5 weeks from ovulation?

OP posts:
tmc14 · 24/03/2017 07:02

Oh Misty, keeping everything crossed that it's just wrong dates. Sending hugs xx

Kaydee2017 · 24/03/2017 07:12

Fingers crossed for you misty! Hopefully you're a few days out on dates & everything is present & correct next week! Hope your GP will suggest extra monitoring on NHS for you too!

MrsB12345 · 24/03/2017 07:14

@MistyBxx I'll have everything crossed for you.xx

THirdEeye · 24/03/2017 07:15

Oh Misty I'm keeping everything crossed for you too.
