First Time Pregnancy

Hello!
Any one else received their first BFP this month!? I am 4+5. Due November 10 and would love to talk to some other first time mummies as every twinge and niggle sends me into panic at the moment!! I'm sure I'm not the only one...

Welcome to all of the new ladies who have joined us! Anyone else getting awful headaches? Really taking it out of me today!

No head ache for me but am insanely tired, just off for my first nap of the day 😂

It is @sophr2017 put my mind at rest, I haven't had headaches and no morning sickness yet but feel really queasy every time I eat xx

Girls I'm stressed 😩 hubby just rung me in work (never ever does he ever ring with good news, it always costs me money!) and true to form he's just totally stressed me out with some stuff about why he's not getting paid this week til the end of the month etc etc, anyway I started feeling my heart pounding as he was talking to me (I'm a stress head anyway) and my palms got all sweaty and I started breathing all shallow, I ended up hanging up on him coz I felt like I was having a panic attack! I've calmed my breathing but I can feel what can only be described as like butterflies in my tummy, not nice ones, like jittery shaky feeling of nerves in my belly and I'm scared my massive stress out is gonna hurt my little seed!! I told him don't fu£&@?ng ring me in work again unless you're going to tell me something good!! I feel really on edge and panicky now like I need a good cry 😭

Oh no! I hate that! I'm always saying the same, wait till I'm home to tell me! Hope you feel better soon, there's nothing worse! I really need a nap today 😴

Misty - hope you are ok! I read somewhere that stress can't harm the baby so don't panic. Get yourself a cuppa and a biscuit and take it easy! xo

I have just been to visit my cousin and her 2 week old baby - I am in bits! She was so tiny and squishy and cute and adorable and in 7.5 months I am going to have one of those! She doesn't know I am pg as we haven't told anyone yet but oh my goodness the cuteness!

I've got mine 1 April when I'll be 8 weeks. Saw the midwife today and cried my eyes out didn't I. They asked lots of questions about family history and health and I can't really answer many of them because obviously my mum is no longer here!

Misty I worry about stress too. But everyday stress isn't going to harm your little seed. It's more like if you were living in the middle of a war or something! That level of worry could potentially be dangerous 😄

Feeling off today. Have existed on rich tea biscuits and cereal bars alone...🙄

Going off my last period I'm 6+6 today but the lady said its measuring at 6+2 but it will catch up when I have more scans xxx

Looks nothing like a little baba it was surreal to see a heartbeat @mrsjkerry

It's crazy that that thing is developing inside and will be a little baby! I am 6+5 today and really can't wait for my 8 week scan. It's so far away 😩 my best friend has her 12 week on Monday and I am green with envy !

Was it internal ultrasound??

Yeah they could see sac in normal ultrasound but bowel was in the way so they did an internal one, it seems real now xxx

I'm 10+3 today and can't wait for my scan! My morning sickness has eased off massively and that got me worried because week 10 is supposedly the worst but then I reminded myself to stop stressing about everything or I'll have no life until baby is born, and appreciate the fact I don't feel rough!

I've got a real thing about haribo sweets and blt sandwiches at the moment, what's everyone else's cravings/food aversions?!

I haven't had any! No morning sickness or anything, quite lucky, but these past 2 days everytime I eat I feel so queasy it's awful xxx

Ew could it be what you are eating? If I think about eating some foods, that I would normally, it makes me feel sick, whereas others are absolutely fine? Maybe try something you wouldn't normally eat?

@sophr2017 could be! I'm just eating some micro chips (not the best food) but I just fancied some and these aren't doing it, gunna have some fruit after though I haven't ate anything good for me today 😬 xx

Oh girls, the news is breaking my heart tonight. Had to turn it off!

On the plus side, I think I'm craving sweeties 😳 since Monday I've had a pack of pink pigs, a pack of strawberry milkshakes and today a pack of vimto chewits. Weirdly, I'm not fancying haribo and they're usually my faves! I want really chewy and sweet and fruity!! There's a pack of strawberry pencils with my name on it tomorrow (we have a charity sweetie box in work... I usually ignore it, I'm defo a savoury snacker rather than sweet but not this week!)

@MistyBxx I've got a terrible sweet tooth. With all the sweets and cakes in our office too it's a nightmare.

I too have been watching the news this eve. Shocking isn't it but can't say I'm surprised it's happened which scares me more x
