Hello!
Any one else received their first BFP this month!? I am 4+5. Due November 10 and would love to talk to some other first time mummies as every twinge and niggle sends me into panic at the moment!! I'm sure I'm not the only one...

*tiny - don't know why my phone put interview!

mrsjkerry · 19/03/2017 13:56

Don't worry Jessie. I had some brown discharge when I wiped in week 4. From all the reading I've done it's regarded as normal.

I feel so much better. Went out for a walk and had a sandwich and I feel perfect now. Maybe it'll just be a morning thing......

MrsJ oh thank you that has made me feel a bit better! Fingers crossed it's only the morning it will affect you rather than all day!

Squigglefish · 19/03/2017 15:28

Hi all, sorry to butt in, I've been stalking this thread for a while. I also found out I was pregnant in Feb (first baby). I'm 7 weeks today, due the 5th of November. I've been so poorly woth morning sickness, it's started by feeling a bit off just before 6 weeks then at 6+1 the vomiting started. I was off work last week because I'm just so tired and weak. I don't want any food :( it's so nice to have a few people all around the same time going through the similar things. It's reassuring. I also recommend sea bands, they've helped a lot. Anyway, congrats to you all, what an exciting (and scary) time ahead.

mrsjkerry · 19/03/2017 15:31

Welcome squiggle! I am 6+2. Started at 5+6 with a bit of food aversion, and 6+0 just feeling a bit off. Today I had the first read "nausea". I'm hoping real sickness doesn't come and I can keep it at bay by eating every 20 minutes which seems to be working so far but isn't great for the 'trying to be healthy for the baby'...absolutely dreading going to school tomorrow where I'll be cooped up all day in a classroom I can't leave!!

Squiggle aww your LO is due on my birthday!

Lemondrop09 · 19/03/2017 16:18

Jessiecat, brown discharge can be worrying - I legged it off to get a private scan on Friday because I had some! But, that was because I was already concerned about fading sickness too. Scan showed all was fine.

Brown is old blood and can be for a number of reasons. If you only have the odd bit, I wouldn't panic. I do think it's worth mentioning at your next medical appointment though. And if you get a significant amount, contact someone, just to check. But the odd little bit is likely nothing Smile

Jessiecat27 · 19/03/2017 16:20

Lemondrop thank you! I'll keep an eye on it just in case, can't wait for my appointment letter now! How're you today?

Lemondrop09 · 19/03/2017 16:27

I'm fine thanks Smile I felt human for the first time in ages yesterday, so managed to get dressed and go out for a few hours. It caught up on me today though, so I'm curled up on the sofa, watching Supernanny and hoping my child doesn't behave that way Grin

Jessiecat27 · 19/03/2017 17:11

Oh no! Ahaha I forgot supernanny existed! Love that show!

mrsjkerry · 19/03/2017 19:24

Spoke too soon 🤢

Oh no mrsjkerry 😞 Hope it eases off a bit, did your Sea Bands arrive?

Jessiecat27 · 19/03/2017 19:51

Oh no! I hope it passes quickly for you! I keep having twinges but after reading I'm feeling a little nervous!

Jessiecat27 · 19/03/2017 19:52

*after earlier - wish my phone would stop with the typo's! Haha

Squigglefish · 19/03/2017 20:31

Awww no! I have had my second bands on constantly (except for showering) since Thursday. I'm so sick of ginger biscuits now too.
Awwww Jessiecat 5th of November seems like a lifetime away! Especially with the last week being the longest ever with sickness. I have a friend who is a couple of weeks further on, first baby too, and she's had the easiest time ever. I'm so jealous 😢

Squigglefish · 19/03/2017 20:31

*Sea bands lol!

MistyBxx · 19/03/2017 20:42

Hey girlies, how are you all? mrsj sorry you're feeling rough. Part of me is glad I'm not getting sickness but the other part is like why am I not sick?! I'm never this lucky, 80% of people get sickness/nausea in pregnancy, how am I in the lucky 20%? Same with implantation bleeding... loads of people get it, not me!! Feeling the familiar low cramps in my tum tonight. I always worried about tummy feelings but I find it reassuring now. It's not sharp or painful, just a twingy little sensation that feels slightly crampy but not, if you know what I mean. Right above my foof and about 2 inches below my belly button. Anyone else have that?xx

ew1990 · 19/03/2017 20:56

I've been having a few cramps today @MistyBxx a bit like pulling and pinching, they worry me but this thread always reassures me xxx

Squigglefish · 19/03/2017 21:02

I've had cramping since week 5 Misty sometimes it's pretty intense and goes to my back and can last about 10 mins. I'm not too worried about it because there's no bleeding and it's not constant. I also had no implantation bleeding. My first indication was breast pain that felt a bit different to normal, that was literally it!

THirdEeye · 19/03/2017 21:17

Not so much today but I had terrible lower back pain on Friday!

I wrote too soon regarding the tiredness...this weekend it has really hit me. I had to have a nap before lunchtime today....after not really doing much in the morning.

No nausea but my sense of smell has definitely increased. I cooked bacon earlier and DH had to finish it, as it really did not smell pleasant at all!!

mrsjkerry · 19/03/2017 21:24

I am still waiting for my bands to arrive!!!! Not very impressed. Wondering what I will say at school if people notice them 🤔

Misty I didn't have any implantation bleeding either. Sometimes get a pinch feeling. Backache came back today too...

That's the only problem mrsjkerry they aren't very discreet Hmm Can you pop a long sleeve top on tomorrow and maybe some bracelets or something big over the top? I'm lucky as I am basically always in my car and just out for meetings so pop them off then for a minute and straight back on when in the car!

MistyBxx · 19/03/2017 21:36

I do love reading other people's symptoms. It makes me feel more normal. I keep moaning i haven't got morning sickness but I'd be the worst if I did 😳 you'd never hear the end of it 😂
Can't wait til tomoz when I get to make an appointment with my midwife! Although she won't see me til the first week of April. I'm also gonna book my scan for this upcoming Saturday 😍

MrsB12345 · 19/03/2017 21:45

I didn't have implantation bleeding either. I had a feeling I was pregnant in the 2ww as by boobs were incredible sore and I was temp checking and my temp dropped for one day after ovulation and then started to rise until I did my first preg test.

My preg symptoms have been
Queasiness
Back ache
Chronic fatigue
Thirsty all the time
Cramping
Craving anything orange based

mrsjkerry · 19/03/2017 21:53

They arrived! This seems too low but I followed the instructions...
