Hi ladies. I'm pregnant after 5 m/c over the last 7 years. I have one child who is 9.
I'm 7+3 and terrified.

TheLegendOfBeans · 31/03/2017 19:01

Oh god Alb; no words.

littlepooch · 31/03/2017 19:44

Oh alb I too have no words. What a decision to have to make. I hope the doctors can give you a bit more of a steer on what to do. You are being so brave.

Great news re the scan amy.

Good luck for Monday bec.

SayItIsntSo1 · 31/03/2017 19:53

Alb, there's nothing I can add, just wanted to say I'll be thinking of you and I hope the Drs can give you a decision.

Can't remember if I said earlier but glad the scan went ok Amy. There's really not long until your 12 week scan now!

Today has been a fairly full day and tomorrow is worse. Hoping my tiredness is going to stay at bay. I have definitely started to feel a bit better, but not quite back to normal energy levels.

We got all dd's kept baby clothes down today so we can sort through them. Having looked in one bag, there is not much for us to keep! I don't want to go sorting it yet, think we'll leave it a while. Lord only knows what magical reassurance point I'm waiting for Confused.

It also appears I went all out when I binlinered my maternity clothes after my MC as I seem to have chucked almost everything out. Regretting it a bit now, but it made me feel better at the time.

Morning everyone, I haven't been on for a while as not much to say at the moment. Anyway I just wanted to come and say I'm really sorry you are going through this alb, I can't even imagine how hard it is for you right now. I hope the drs are providing you with clear advice to help you make this incredibly hard decision. I'm pretty sure everyone here is thinking of you and we're all hoping for the best for you and your baby.

Alb1 · 01/04/2017 08:45

Thanks, yeah the fetal medicine, fetal cardiology and neonatal doctor all came back with the same solid view of what they think the best outcome is and why, so we're going with that. There doing the needle thing, the doctor said if the heart stops they can use adrenaline but she's not sure how effective that is as she's never had the heart stop before, which I'm taking to be a good thing! So we're gona give that a shot later today I think. They don't do this procedure with this medication that often as its so rare but the whole bit with the needle is identical and fairly routine for them, it's just what's in the end of the syringe that varies so we're giving the baby her best chance and going with that they say. Really missing my little boy in here, hopefully it's all worth it!

Welcome pt You'll get great support here, wishing you strength getting through to 12 weeks. Are you having an early scan?

grainmum · 01/04/2017 09:30

Alb really pleased that they came back with a firm consensus for you, wishing you and your family all the very best for today xx

Alb1 · 01/04/2017 09:43

Thanks grain, yeah it deffiently helped. It's too hard making these decisions with or without help, can't imagine what an agonising time you had yourself, hope you and baby grain are doing well Flowers

SayItIsntSo1 · 01/04/2017 09:55

I'll be thinking of you today Alb and wishing you the best. X

Belleende · 01/04/2017 10:04

alb everything crossed for you this end. Good the medics came back with a clear recommendation. All the best x

PTphonehome · 01/04/2017 10:24

Thanks for the welcome Alb!
I had a scan last weekend at 6+4 and it showed a tiny heartbeat. I've booked a private scan this Wednesday at 8+1. I've not had my mw booking appointment yet but epu said they will see many again in a few weeks too.
I'm terrified and the pink/brown when wiping daily isnt helping.
Have woken feeling good today, no cramps so feel raring to go.

PTphonehome · 01/04/2017 10:24

Good luck for today Alb I hope it goes well x

littlepooch · 01/04/2017 11:36

Best of luck today alb x

AmyB1986 · 01/04/2017 11:45

Alb best wishes for today ❤

My nausea had returned today it's horrible. Taking dd's to see beauty and the beast later and meeting their friends and parents at the cinema. Just hoping I feel better before we have to leave in an hour.

Hope everyone else is doing ok too xx

Smurf123 · 01/04/2017 12:55

Can I join this thread? Pregnant again after miscarriage last month. Fell straight away thank goodness.
I'm 42 and this will be the 12th time I've been pregnant. 3 boys aged 18,15 and 21 months and 8 miscarriages.
Hoping and keeping everything crossed that this one sticks.
4wks at the mo so really early days Confused

SayItIsntSo1 · 01/04/2017 19:21

Hi Pixie, come on in! We're a friendly bunch, there's lots of support here Smile.

Also hi PT! I missed you up thread. Hope the scan goes well this week.

Belleende · 01/04/2017 19:28

Hey pixie I am an oldie as well. 42 and counting. I am just a wee bit ahead of you

Alb1 · 01/04/2017 20:21

Hello, long story short the procedure didn't work. They put the needle in, and that slowed the heart before they could administer the chemical so they couldn't do that bit, but he heart flipped back to the high SVT rate a few hours later anyway, and there's nothing else we can try. I've started a thread in premature birth tho, thinking know one would respond, but I was wrong on that one! So il update in more detail over there rather than filling up this one too much.

Welcome pixie your in the right place here Smile

SayItIsntSo1 · 01/04/2017 20:38

I'm sorry it didn't work Alb. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers. I'm rooting for you and baby Alb. X

TheLegendOfBeans · 01/04/2017 20:59

Oh Alb, you must be terrified. Sending lots of unmumsnetty hugs and good wishes xx

Popcorn1979 · 01/04/2017 21:21

Keeping track of you all but don't tend to post much. Just wanted to send you all the best alb - got everything crossed for good news for you and baby, you sound very brave.

Welcome to everyone new, first 12 weeks are SO slow but I have been much more relaxed since then (16+2 now).

GingerHanna · 02/04/2017 07:39

Oh gosh Alb. Sorry for all the trauma you are all going through. Best wishes for the best outcome

lightgreenglass · 02/04/2017 08:23

Good luck for today Alb I'm following your other thread and have my fingers and toes crossed for you both.
