Purple Good luck!

Sock I'm 4w+5d, had a mmc in Dec 15 but surprisingly relaxed atm... for now anyway!

Beans Welcome to the Netherlands! Whereabouts are you moving to? How far along are you now? There are some things you want to sort sooner rather than later here i.e. midwives etc. Happy to help in any way I can. Have you come across the Kramzorg yet? It will blow your mind!

Have decided that 'morning' sickness is actually afternoon sickness in my case. The joy. Actually ordered a few books yesterday - two for DH (The Expectant Dad's Survival Guide and Commando Dad) and one for me (Expecting Better). I never even thought of ordering books last time as I was so surprised at being pregnant and in a panic. Then I had my mc... this time, well, I just feel good about it. Hopefully that won't come to bite me on the arse...

Hello! Had the emcs last nigh, baby boy born at 1.49am weighing 8lb 3oz! Grin will send pics later. Feeling exhausted and baby is currently feeding (trying to get latch sorted)

lightgreenglass · 15/03/2017 08:38

Good luck purple!

Sock I remember you from the ttc boards. Congratulations, it's terrifying isn't it. PMA from here on out, easier said than done when I keep having dreams of bleeding and spotting. Envy.

Gingerbreadmam · 15/03/2017 08:38

Congratulations purple!! So happy for you!

Emotional, nauseous and can't stop sneezing!

Dh said my hair smells odd, I've been washing it everyday as it's just so greasy. He said it smells like milk, not mouldy milk just milk. Never had this before, anyone else's smell changed since being pg?

theAntsareMyFriends · 15/03/2017 09:10

congratulations purple. That's a great weight. Hope the you've sorted the latch out and baby is feeding well and hope you are recovering well too.

ImGonnaSingTheDoomSongNow · 15/03/2017 09:10

oliversmummy26 · 15/03/2017 10:07

Purple!!!! Such lovely news to wake up to this morning, congratulations on your baby boy and hope you get the hang of feeding soon. Is this your first? Enjoy your time in hospital and make the most of the nurses and midwives while you're there. Don't go home before you're ready!

Welcome Sock and congratulations on your BFP, you've definitely come to the right place. We're mostly all scared almost all of the time!

Got the hang of the doppler last night, read baby at 142bpm. Was so happy, I just lay on the sofa for ages listening to it Smile

ImGonnaSingTheDoomSongNow · 15/03/2017 10:12

Ahh lovely olivers, I'm getting really scanxious about my 20wk scan next week. Swinging between being excited to see baby again and so very nervous/worried that they will find something wrong with it, I've just got a really bad feeling.

Cookiemonster19 · 15/03/2017 10:12

Congratulations purple!! 💕 Made me teary eyed reading your post, I remember when you got your bfp! Pregnancy hormones ConfusedBlush

TheLegendOfBeans · 15/03/2017 10:27

Lovely news Purple, so happy xx

Popcorn1979 · 15/03/2017 11:02

Ginger - I am so so sorry for your loss. Not been on here for a few days and I am just devastated for you after all you have been through. You are so strong but as the others said, don't feel you have to bottle it up. You have been through a rough time and I am sending you every good wish that the next time gives you the happy ending you deserve.

Purple - huge congrats! Great weight as well for being early! Hope you are getting some rest now.

Olivers - which doppler do you have? Mine is from my first rpegnancy (5 years ago) and think technology has come on a bit now so I maybe need to upgrade...

oliversmummy26 · 15/03/2017 11:49

Popcorn this is the one I bought:
Doppler
It seems pretty good, I got it last week at just over 13 weeks and I could very faintly hear the heartbeat but it wasn't getting a reading from it as it was too quiet. Yesterday though it picked it up and it was lovely to hear it nice and loud and see exactly how fast it's beating Smile

I would absolutely recommend getting one, but you really do have to tell yourself not to panic if you don't find it right away, they are so tiny at this stage that they're swimming all over the place and can hide.

XxBecxX · 15/03/2017 12:11

Wow bec can't believe you are next already. Doesn't it seem like a lifetime ago when you joined this thread - it does for me anyway.

Welcome to everyone new on here. Its such an amazingly supporting place and I really would have gone mad without everyone on here.

With regards to dopplers, I never could get the reading on the digital display so gave up on that and just listened. I think when you find the heartbeat its quite distinctive although there were times when I had to try for over 10mins before finding it. I was also surprised how low down I needed to be to find it - it was right down in my pelvis every time I found it.

Out of interest - did everyone find the galloping horse=girl and train=boy heartbeat worked out for them. I definitely had a train and I'm having a boy.

Cookiemonster19 · 15/03/2017 16:16

I got a call from the hospital this morning calling me in for a scan on Friday afternoon.... I feel really anxious that I won't hear a heartbeat :(

jpeg28 · 15/03/2017 16:32

Alb I'm so sorry you've been having such a tough time... how are you doing now?

Ginger I'm so sorry once again. Glad the d&c went well. You sound so amazingly strong... hope you take some time to grieve and do look after yourself Flowers

Welcome back Jaffa!! Great to see you on here again! I gave up running and pretty much didn't do anything for the first trimester (and since then Blush) although I didn't get any advice to do that, just made me feel better!

Corrin so glad the scan went well and your little beans heart is beating away!

July I'm sorry you didn't have a good scan, but a heartbeat is a good sign. Everything crossed it turns out ok.

Purple this is so exciting!!!! Sorry I've only just seen all your posts.... congratulations! So happy for you!

Yes Bec you're next! Then is it me?!!!

Welcome to everyone new and congrats on your pregnancies.

I'm feeling massive and exhausted today. Normally go to yoga on a weds but I cannot bring myself to go. I've had a banging headache all day and just feel heavy! Is this what it's going to be like for the next 4 weeks?!!

XxBecxX · 15/03/2017 16:48

I know ants it does feel like no time at all ago, it can't come soon enough can it!!
Jpeg they are saying 37-38 weeks for my IOL now....... so then it's you eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!!!
