So glad you went in Alb, well done for trusting your instincts. Thinking about you loads and praying for your wee one. You are in the best place Flowers keep us posted if you can xx

Alb1 · 14/03/2017 00:22

Despite it clearly being slow and irregular on the scan they did a ctg and it was normal for 15 mins on that so I think there Gona send me home, I don't want to go home, something clearly isn't right somewhere. I've explained it did this when we discovered the problem last week too but they don't seem as concerned as I am

purpleviolet1 · 14/03/2017 06:11

Oh alb been thinking about you overnight, I hope you managed to stay in and if you didn't, you are able to contact your consultant today

ImGonnaSingTheDoomSongNow · 14/03/2017 06:59

Oh Alb, really hoping it's just a little blip and your bean is staying sticky.

Be strong and keep pushing for tests etc, better to be that annoying person who won't go away than let them fob you off, trust your mumma instincts.

Fingers and toes crossed for you x

SayItIsntSo1 · 14/03/2017 07:58

Alb sorry to hear you're having a tough time. You did exactly the right thing by going in. As Doom said keep pushing for what you want. I'll be thinking of you today.

Corrinax · 14/03/2017 09:01

Hey i hope everyone is doing well and holding up n im sorry for ur loss ginger

I posed last week im 9 weeks now but i had a scan last thursday which showed twins but 1 stopped growing at 7 weeks the other was looking good but also told i had bleeding around the sacs!

I had a small pink bleed yesterday morning n mild cramps but nothing since expect my only symptom of my sore boobs also dissapeard yesterday morning n now im just fearing the worst!

They wont scan me till monday morning 😣

JulyLady7 · 14/03/2017 09:27

Sorry you're going through this Corrinax, hopefully it's harmless spotting. Do you have an EPU you could walk into? Or get your GP to refer you? I'm surprised they won't scan you until Monday....that seems a bit harsh.

Corrinax · 14/03/2017 09:28

Update just had a call frm epu they had a cancellation so going for scan at half 11 i will update you xxx

fuzzywuzzy · 14/03/2017 09:44

Good luck with your scan Corrina.

Alb push to be referred to your specialist, this must be so stressful for you, everything crossed for you and baby.

Quick question, I'm getting really painful constancy braxton hicks everytime I walk or stand or have to go toilet either passing water or bowel movement. Should I call someone (who?), for advice. I'm getting a bit worried now.
On Sunday I walked a short way and couldn't move properly at all as the pain and pressure was so intense and I had a lot of discharge afterwards (sorry tmi).

knorrig · 14/03/2017 09:58

Alb go with your instinct and keep pushing, I hope you get some answers soon! Well done for going in last night as you wouldn't have been able to relax otherwise.

Corrina I had an early scan at 7 weeks and there were 2 sacs, one was measuring smaller and slower heartbeat though and we were told it was unlikely to survive. I read up on it and it's called vanishing twin syndrome and quite common apparently and that the second would just reabsorb. My acupuncturist (who's worked a lot in fertility, childbirth, pregnancy etc) said I may get a bleed from it but I was lucky that I didn't (as I'd have panicked even though they said it was normal) At the 12 weeks scan, it had gone, there were just some tiny remnants that I don't think they'd have even picked up on until I told them about it starting as a twin pregnancy.

Fuzzy yes call you midwife for advice, am sure it's nothing to worry about and normal pregnancy symptoms but like Alb you need to just give yourself peace of mind.

oliversmummy26 · 14/03/2017 10:41

Ginger thinking of you today and hope all goes well with your D&C, good luck with the GP next week and look after yourself, take more time off work than you think you'll need and I reckon you'll be glad of it.

Alb so sorry that you're having a tough time, I hope you got the help you needed last night and a plan of action has been put in place for today. Let us know how you're getting on.

Corrinax good luck for your scan this morning, keeping everything crossed that it's just a little bleed and no harm has come to your little bean.

Fuzzy I would contact your midwife if I were you, if she can't help she will hopefully be able to point you in the right direction..

knorrig · 14/03/2017 10:52

Thinking of you today Ginger Flowers

GingerHanna · 14/03/2017 11:00

Ladies - is it really possible to be feeling 'morning' sickness at 4+4 or am I just imagining it? Feeling really tired all day also, despite sleeping well. Just seems to early and I'm wondering if it's psychosomatic.

I called the docs yesterday for a referral to my gynecologist - usually here in The Netherlands you just go straight to the midwife but because I'm over 35 I get sent to the gyne instead. Anyway, because of my mc last time the doc wants to see me first, so I'm in Thursday morning.

DH is upset as he can't get off work to come with me, but I told him it's just routine stuff... I could have had it next week when we're both off work but I really just want to get it done and the ball rolling.

knorrig · 14/03/2017 11:16

I think anything is possible re sickness in early stages. We were at a wedding the week before I found out (about 2-3 weeks) and it completely wiped me out with tiredness, we were in bed by 11.30 and I slept most of the next day. I was sat for a lot of it too - wasn't like I'd danced all night!

Gingerbreadmam · 14/03/2017 13:02

thank you everyone. I'm all done just in for a while longer as im on a drip. as far as i know everything has gone ok and im doing fine relieved it's all over.

alb sorry you are having a terrible time. hope they get sorted and i have everything crossed for you.

hope everyone else is well.

jaffacakes16 · 14/03/2017 13:22

Hi all, I'm back on here again with pregnancy no. 4, last 3 haven't worked out unfortunately.

Only 4 & a bit so very early days just trying to stay positive.

Has anyone had advice from their doc about exercise after rmc? I'm not sure whether general advice to keep exercising changes after so many losses.

XxBecxX · 14/03/2017 13:25

Oh ginge I'm heart broken for you, please STOP being so strong, you are going to crash!
You are naturally a really brave amazing woman but you need to let your emotions overwhelm you and then and only then can you start to heal.
Your going thru the motions again and being very straight with yourself which I totally get, I'm like you, always the one being strong for everyone else.
You've been thru soooooo much and I've always said you are an inspiration to keep trying and I'm absolutely sure that this time next year you will be ready to have whichever little bundle is awaiting your massive love and cozy loving home.
hugs and kisses xxxxx

Welcome back Jaffa!
Congrats!
If I where u I would do absolutely nothing and literally sit on my bum for the next 8 weeks at every opportunity!
Why not?
Try something different, be kind and gentle with yourself and treat yourself like your wrapped in cotton wool, I'm pretty sure you can't affect the outcome bad/good but if you feel like your protecting yourself it might make you feel like your doing something xxxxxx

Hope that makes some sense lol

Purple how have you been feeling x

purpleviolet1 · 14/03/2017 13:50

Glad it went well ginger. I agree with xxbec, do let it out and don't bottle it up. That's what I did when I was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. It didn't do me any favours.

Jaffa- welcome ! Recognise you from
The ttc thread. Sorry to hear this is number 4 and I hope the medics have been supportive and done the necessary tests. Have they prescribed anything or found any cause for rmc? I agree with xxbec, put your feet up and relax !

Xxbec, I'm ok thanks. Was up for about 3 hours with period like cramps but again didn't transpire into anything. I managed to stay in bed for most of it so although painful it wasn't full on contractions. The hospital didn't want to do an internal yesterday in case it kicked things off but they did pick up tightenings every 10 minutes on the machine. I didn't feel any of it and typically never had the pain that I have been feeling whilst at the hospital. The fluid levels have slightly reduced again so they will check again on Monday. If lower they might bring the c section forward but I'm booked in for the Friday anyway so doubt it will happen really.

37+4! Smile 9 days to elcs.

purpleviolet1 · 14/03/2017 13:51

Hope everyone else is ok!

fuzzywuzzy · 14/03/2017 13:55

Gingerbread, hope your reconvert goes well. Rest as much as possible and rally round friends to cry to. After my fourth MMC I found I was fine for a couple of days then would burst into tears at random moments, it took a long time to get over. Grieve however helps you to get thro this. Flowers

Jaffacakes welcome back. I don't know about exercising, I personally stopped anything physically taxing for a while as I had a bleed at five weeks. Ask your gp?
