I will start by saying I know I am extremely lucky be expecting a healthy (so far as can be told) baby and I wouldn't swap it for the world. That said - bloody hell. I'm 39 weeks today, I have an arse under my ribcage so I can't breathe, a head trying to drill out of my pelvis, shocking heartburn, and with a leg still in a boot from being broken there is no comfortable position in the world. I'm shattered and weepy and want this baby out now please! Anyone else?

blonde I'm so sorry to tell you this but I think they will make you take your nail varnish off your toes for an elcs. Shock
I really wanted one done (I had one last time) but everything I have read says with electives they make you take it off. Waaaaah, as if we didn't feel unattractive enough as it is. I've spent the evening arguing with dh about whether we can have a one off clean of the house while I'm in hospital. I just want to come home to it being nice and he's making a massive fuss about the dog and coming home to let the cleaner in. I know he's right but I'm so sore and hormonal and tearful that I want to chuck a table at him. By the way, the Braxton hicks in the evening! I'm with you! They are mental!

JonSnowsWhore · 28/02/2017 23:01

Has anyone seen return to oz? I am tick tock. That's how I walk now Blush

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/02/2017 23:58

@wine. Nooooooooo tho won't be elective cs. More of a semi planned one if I don't dilate enough prob after hours of pain

@poppers. Thank you.

I forgot the non stop peeing at night. On the hour every hour. Where does the wee come from????

OuchBollocks · 01/03/2017 02:27

Sorry to see there are so many of us struggling. I forgot to mention the insomnia. Hello middleof the night. Again.

I need a wee but the dodgy leg makes getting to the loo a proper fucking hassle.

alphabook · 01/03/2017 02:41

Agree with all of this! It's my due date today and pregnancy insomnia means I'm awake for no reason. The thought of potentially being pregnant for another 2 weeks makes me want to cry!

Imavinoops · 01/03/2017 04:14

Helloooo! 39+1 here, been awake for an hour with the bloody insomnia and I doubt I'm getting anymore sleep this evening. Induction booked for this Sunday as baby has been measuring a bit small since around 36 weeks. This week is the longest week of my life I swear. It feels like it's never going to end! I'm desperately hoping that she comes before the induction but I doubt it! Boo!

BridgetDoodle · 01/03/2017 04:37

Hello with the insomnia too. Anyone else wake up regularly checking/hoping for contractions? I will go insane with another 2 weeks of this before induction!!

drinkyourmilk · 01/03/2017 05:04

I've been awake for a while, but not checking for contractions - I'm still vomiting. Just gave myself a nose bleed. Attractive huh?

Mouse510 · 01/03/2017 05:28

Yes, yes, yes!

39+3 weeks and I'm over it now. I've been pretty lucky really but now the waddling and the pelvic pain can do one. I'm sick of using 3 extra pillows to try and comfy enough to sleep at night, it takes ages to get them right, then I have to move them all to get out of bed to pee 2/3/4 times a night. I've got athletes foot that just will not go away, I was going to treat myself to a pedicure but can't do that with my scabby feet now. I've got carpal tunnel in my hands, my wedding rings don't fit and most of my shoes don't fit either.

We are ready for you baby, you can come now please!

wineapotamus · 01/03/2017 07:17

Sorry to all the insomniacs. And vomiters. And those Walking Like the zombies in the walking dead. Horrible business.
In other news, I had a poo!!!!! But it made my piles bleed. It really is none stop glamour isn't it. 5 more sleeps for me until this girly comes out painlessly (with me looking glowing and beautiful on the photos) with no reflux or colic, breastfeeding like a pro and fond of dogs, her brother, sleeping and daytime telly. That's realistic isn't it?!
Good luck today everyone. We're getting there! X

karmacoma1 · 01/03/2017 12:05

Oh, my god I am so glad I have found this thread !

37 weeks 4 days and I am SICK of this shit!!

List of complaints:

Non-stop heartburn.
Hips in agony due to spd
Waking at 3/4am for NO FUCKING REASON.
Bored out of my mind being on mat leave with no baby to take care off.
Husband moaning that me turning over in bed disturbs his precious sleep
Sleep drooling
Needing a wee constantly

Oh and to top it all off, found out my midwife won't even do a sweep till 40 weeks, let alone a fucking induction. It's absolutely shocking, really. An animal wouldn't be left to suffer like this.

Oh I feel a bit better now that's off my chest Smile

Mouse510 · 01/03/2017 12:43

The sleep drooling! Oh my god, yes! It's awful.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2017 12:58

I have no problem sleeping till df wakes me up and tells me I'm snoring 🙄

But I do go straight back to sleep

Think years of working nights means my body clock is used to just going back to sleep and snoring and farting 😂

@milk - nosebleeds and sick isn't good 💐

I am 33 wks today and feeling the drag already feel like baby's head is really pushing down on my cervix and can't walk very far without feeling so uncomfortable having braxton hicks constant, the urge to pee every 10mins and the legs or bum that's always stuck in my ribcage also feeling like I'm stuck for breathe hoping the last couple of weeks go quicklyHalo

MrPoppersPenguins · 02/03/2017 19:29

Anyone else starting to feel a bit daunted? This is my 2nd and keep thinking how on earth I'm gonna manage with 2! Plus thoughts (I'm trying to avoid) about my traumatic delivery last time. Plus.... what on earth are we doing?? Feeling a bit low today (I know this is stupid... we are very lucky to be expecting number 2, sorry if this is insensitive- it's just how I feel today)

babyroo1 · 02/03/2017 19:43

40 + 8 with baby number two and so over it. DS is in nursery most of the week so at least I don't have to run round after him but just fed up waiting now. Turning in bed at night is the only real issue I have as it's causing me a lot of pain but could be worse. Was induced with DS and have induction booked for Wed but hoping things happen before then - sweep yesterday and really long walk today but still nothing..........

ILikeSalmon · 03/03/2017 03:37

Ha this thread is making me laugh. I have 2-3 weeks left and can relate to every point above.
It's 3.37am and I'm WIDE awake.
I feel really sick so I'm busy googling "is feeling sick a sign of early labour"
I hope not becuase I bavent packed my bag and my DH is 100 miles away at work. And I have two other kids asleep here.

OuchBollocks · 03/03/2017 04:09

Sorry to start this thread then skip out so soon - DS was born yesterday morning and he's gorgeous :) he's also on the 96th centile for length so it's no wonder he was squashing me painfully from within!

Good luck everyone, keep waddling, you can do it Flowers

Congratulations ouch! Hope it all went ok Flowers

Omg I'm so fucking over this now. 36+3. Done. Done, done, done. I have a four year old and a two year old. They share a room. I'm sharing the small double of the bunk bed set because she has never, not in her life, slept through, and frankly it's just easier to go to bed with her than it is hauling my big pregnant self up and down several times a night. Dh was alternating with me but I've just given up. I'm woken several times in the night by a little paw grabbing me on the shoulder and pulling me to turn to face her - usually because facing the other way is just comfier.

I mostly want this baby out just so I don't have to sleep with the toddler anymore!
