SelfObsessionHoney · 17/02/2017 21:00

20 weeks today and felt definite movement today. All the warm and fuzzies. DP has had his hand firmly clamped to my belly all evening even though he can't feel it from the outside Smile

Dinnerout1 · 17/02/2017 21:00

23 weeks here and so excited.. Think I have everything but nervous as this will be my forth! Twin DDs 8, DD1, and baby on the way

beck3001 · 17/02/2017 21:00

15 weeks here! And headaches are making me feel like chopping my own head off!

UnbornMortificado · 17/02/2017 21:01

Pregnancy is shit.

You don't seem to be allowed to say it, fuck that I've had 3 losses in 3 years, it's a very wanted baby and I still think it's shit.

I feel like a hand puppet after having what seems like half the antenatal teams hands up my fanjo yesterday so I may be projecting.

I'm only 8 weeks.

doleritedinosaur · 17/02/2017 21:02

37+1 today, minor contractions since Wednesday & wondering if I'll actually get to my growth scan on Monday.

OkyDoke · 17/02/2017 21:03

13 weeks tomorrow! Getting there!

Notanotherpawpatrol · 17/02/2017 21:06

Unborn, 6 losses here, 3 DC and another on the way. Pregnancy is the shitist of the shits. I hate it.
there are good days though, seeing everything is ok at the 12 week scan and the 20 week scan, hearing the heartbeat at every midwife appointment and then labour is pretty good too. It's the end! I'm sorry you are struggling already, big hugs to you, I know how hard it can be.
30+3 here.

beck3001 · 17/02/2017 21:06

Unborn you're right! I've had two losses and especially before my scans and so on I felt horrific, not only are you sick, uncomfortable, headaches and the list goes on but you can't get excited due to being too damn worried!!!
I do hope that a little later in pregnancy you start to enjoy it though!
I always felt ungrateful saying that I wasn't enjoying it, I felt like people judged me for saying so!!!

SelfObsessionHoney · 17/02/2017 21:09

unborn feel free to say it's shit. Because if can be.
Lots of it is shit, the worry, pains, the nipples that feel like they're being electrified and stabbed with needles at the same time etc.
Hope you're ok.

JessieMillz25 · 17/02/2017 21:09

30+3 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 We got this ladies!

OuchBollocks · 17/02/2017 21:13

unborn I've only had one loss but yeah it's total shit most of the time. Painful, frightened, exhausting shit that we're supposed to 'hashtag cherish every moment' of. Balls to that. Balls to cherishing fear and bleeding and dignity being stripped away, and pain and breathlessness and heartburn and not even being able to wear any of your shoes because your feet are so fucking swollen. Saying it's shit doesn't make us lesser women or ungrateful or bad mothers. Flowers and Cake for you and I hope that everything goes smoothly.

Bananalanacake · 17/02/2017 21:23

I'm 27 weeks and so tired all the time, also have a 2 yo to look after. Can someone please tell me I am so tired because of my age (39), does being an older mum mean you get tired more, has anyone else found this?

LottieL · 17/02/2017 21:36

37 weeks exactly, last day at work before maternity leave and feeling reasonable. I feel like everything wants to fall out of me when I walk, and there's a real ache to it too. Hoping little miss doesn't come for just another week as husband and I have planned a little hideaway week off work together to get some coupley stuff in. We shall see!

UnbornMortificado · 17/02/2017 22:11

Pleased it's not just me feeling that way!

I'll relax when I get to 30 weeks. Except I won't because I'm a massive twat who's looked up every single thing that could possibly go wrong.

Yesterday was Zika and I haven't been abroad for 14 years.

(I know it's irrational anxiety, I'm off my happy pills and seeing a psychiatrist next week)

It feels nice to have a bit twist on here.

hopsalong · 17/02/2017 23:13

Banana, I don't know, because I was never a young mum, but I'm wondering the same thing! 28 weeks, 38, also have a two-year old.

I was glad to see some signs of spring today. Made me feel for the first time that the end of this enfeebled state might be in sight. (On bad days I worry that this is it, middle age, and I will feel always feel tired from now on.)

UnbornMortificado · 17/02/2017 23:22

Banana I'm 28 and knackered too.

MissisBee · 17/02/2017 23:22

23 weeks here. I think I've had about one week that I've enjoyed. I've managed to go no longer than 9 days in a row without puking, I'm knackered and out of breath just when we've had an extension in work and the staff room and toilets are now upstairs

Notanotherpawpatrol · 17/02/2017 23:36

Well I'm 30+3, 29 years old and have a 6,5 and 2 year old and am exhausted!! Except when it gets to bedtime, then I am wide awake Hmm
