Great news alb!
Sorry to hear popcorn. I'll keep everything crossed for you that this is a blip. A scary one, but hopefully that's all it is.

I wanted to check in and let you all know that I had my beautiful baby girl this morning. Came out of the blue, she was born at 38+6, weighing 6lb14oz.
I'm totally in love with her, won't ever heal the pain of my mc's but it really shows things can come good.
Keep going ladies today you are pregnant xxx

bec I think I might be after you (due on 1st May). Can't believe how close to the top of the queue I am. I still feel like a newbie.
Sorry to hear you've got a few issues going on and hope they look after you.

alb great news about your scan.

Congratulations rolling. Its so scary at the beginning but this thread kept me going.

popcorn I hope your scan went well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news.

littlepooch · 03/02/2017 12:33

Congratulations to butterfly too!! Lovely news!

bec I guess the good news is that they've discovered you might need some meds or just being kept an eye on which is a good thing. Did you suspect you might be anaemia? Hopefully it can all be sorted with minimal fuss.

grainmum · 03/02/2017 12:56

Hi everyone, I have posted before but a few weeks ago. Theoretically I am 8 weeks now, following a miscarriage in September, and a MMC in 2012. Luckily I have a lovely 3.5 yr old DS. I had my booking appointment with midwife this week, had to complete notes to take with me. I was a bit disappointed that the midwife didn't even refer to my MCs unless I mentioned it. I suppose I subconsciously thought she might want me to tell her all about the last one and it would be a bit of a chance to debrief. The only person who knew about it was DH. She also started trying to talk to me about breast feeding, in itself completely fine and I'm very proud, but suggesting that I start bonding with and talking to "baby". I nearly laughed in her face and told her I'm actively avoiding attachment until the scan.

LynseyH · 03/02/2017 12:59

I'll catch up properly later but wanted to say thank you for all your comments! First night went well :-)

Congrats Lynsey and Butterfly! Lovely news and beautiful pic Lynsey.

Knorrig - all the best for Monday, hope this weekend goes quickly for you.

Theants - thank you for keeping your fingers crossed, must have worked as I am still pregnant! Feel like this has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster and I am clinging on by my fingertips but scan showed me at 8+1 with a strong HB! I have a couple of heamatoma (spelling?!) which caused the big bleed yesterday and she thinks I might bleed again but can't be sure. Regardless they shouldn't effect the baby!

Ginger - I was offered the prism test as well and think will take them up on it. I have spoken to my GP before about progeserone and he wasn't too keen on prescribing it so at least this way I have a 50% chance of getting it!
