Woohoo! That's fantastic ginger, thrilled for you!!!

48 hours till my scan, fingers crossed for good news too.

oliversmummy26 · 29/01/2017 12:09

ginger that's such wonderful news, I'm so pleased for you! Especially as you had to wait so long to know. You must be so relieved!

My bleeding seems to have stopped overnight, and feel dreadful this morning, crazy vivid dreams last night too, so feeling positive. DH has been fab and so supportive 🙂

Sew3stitch · 29/01/2017 12:25

Wonderful news ginger. Hoping some of this positivity and good news rubs off on me and others in first trimester!

My scan is 3pm and although I'm prepared for bad news can't help hoping there's a slim chance I might just be some hcg fluke.

Ducks so sorry to hear about your chemical. I'd consider going to GP to see if there's anything they can suggest or do.

purpleviolet1 · 29/01/2017 12:53

So sorry 2ducks. It's really very tough. Wishing you the best for the future. Xx

See - good luck for your scan also, sorry i didn't realise yours was today also. Do let us know how you get on xx

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 13:39

Thanks everyone! Well u know my.symptoms here are few and far between yet there it was!

The sonographer thought it was an implantation bleed and nothing to.worry about.

ducks im so sorry! You are clearly very fertile so keep on dtd and hopefully we will see you on here again very very soon.

Try and keep positive ladies due scans you just never know!

Alb1 · 29/01/2017 13:41

Good luck this afternoon see hope you've managed to keep yourself busy this afternoon to distract yourself from the wait abit, I always find the days go so slowly with afternoon scans!

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 14:38

Good luck sew keeping everything crossed for you.

jpeg28 · 29/01/2017 14:52

Good luck sew... thinking of you.

2ducks2ducklings · 29/01/2017 15:26

Thanks Ginger and all the best ladies x

ImGonnaSingTheDoomSongNow · 29/01/2017 15:30

Hooray ginger! So very pleased for you!

Good luck sew hope it went well for you too.

ducks sorry things are not working out for you again this time. Maybe see gp and ask for bloods on things like iron levels? Also, I presume you are taking pre-conception multi vitamins including folic acid etc?

Sew3stitch · 29/01/2017 15:37

It was as expected I'm afraid, measuring 6+3 but no foetal pole. Have to rescan in a week due to the size but I'm definitely 8 weeks today so it's just a formality.

The positive is that there's still plenty of good luck to go around others with scans so thinking of you all and wishing everyone on this thread a healthy and happy pregnancy with gorgeous babies at the end of it!

Hopefully I'll be back soon and it'll be 3rd time lucky! X

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 15:37

Thanks doom still in shock i think!

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 15:39

sew im so very sorry to hear that. I hope you are ok and i too hope you're here very soon.

I'm not saying its a miracle cure but have you took 75mg aspirin? If not it could be worth it for the next one?

Im so sorry. Take care xx

Popcorn1979 · 29/01/2017 15:40

Sew - really sorry to hear that. Make sure you look after yourself, wish no one had to go through this. Hope to see you back here really soon.

Oh my sew and sucks I'm so sorry for you, xxxx

Ginge I'm thrilled for you, today you are pregnant! You've just got to keep telling yourself it now and hopefully you'll keep the positivity going through to your next hurdle xxxxx

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 19:54

Thanks bec. I will. Its the blood - it petrifies me. Only 12 days till next check up tho.

I read a stat earlier saying once a hb is seen there's only 3% chance of mc. There good odds i'll take those.

knorrig · 29/01/2017 20:21

Ginger - very happy for you, glad the wait is over. I had my first scan at 7+4 too, was such a relief!

Sew and Ducks - am very sorry, just such a horrible thing to go through as we all know...but there's lots of us on here now with pregnancies progressing so you will get there.

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 20:43

Thanks knorrig that's good to hear. Hopefully i will be hanging around for a while!

purpleviolet1 · 29/01/2017 21:07

So sorry sew. It was third time lucky for me too. I was convinced I had some major issue but it was just put down to bad luck mainly. When I spoke to the consultant they explained the 1000's of things that can go wrong and if we think of it like that, it's a miracle really. But the majority of people fall pregnant and carry successfully with no issues at all so it's most definitely in reach. Don't give up hope xxx

Gingerbreadmam · 29/01/2017 21:12

I forgot to add that this will touch wood be third time lucky for me too.

LynseyH · 29/01/2017 22:52

Congratulations on brilliant news ginger. So pleased for you!
Really sorry to hear sew and ducks. Take care of yourselves, no one should have to go through this pain. I wish I had the words to make it easier but I know nothing I say will help.
Stay strong and I hope you get good news really soon xx
