It's been well over 12 hours since I last felt movement, 8 of those were me asleep.

Feeling like absolute shite, out of breath, light headed.....pounding head.....feeling sick.

27 weeks pregnant today

The HCP just asked why I was here & I told her, whilst nearly passing out....she rubbed my arm and said "we will try our best to see you soon"

I've been here 1 hour now, there's another woman who's been here over 2 hours...so I'm expecting another hour and a half wait at least

Hope you're being seen now and it's good news.

sj257 · 13/01/2017 15:07

Go and tell them you're on the verge of fainting, you need to be examined now! X

MrTCakes · 13/01/2017 15:08

Hope you get seen soon op.

manhowdy · 13/01/2017 15:08

Is the other woman waiting to be seen for reduced movements too? This is crazy.

SpeakNoWords · 13/01/2017 15:09

The thing is though that if they're dealing with other emergencies that are more urgent then there may genuinely not be anyone that can come right now, unfortunately.

I hope you get seen soon, and that you get some reassurance soon too.

CalmItKermitt · 13/01/2017 15:09

Fingers crossed for you op x

AliceInUnderpants · 13/01/2017 15:10

Does it seem all the other women waiting are in emergency situations too or is there a general clinic running?

Ilovewillow · 13/01/2017 15:12

Thinking if you! I hope you get seen soon! Flowers

MrsGB2015 · 13/01/2017 15:12

Hope you get seen soon and everything is ok

Maudlinmaud · 13/01/2017 15:12

Hope it all goes ok and your sil arrives.
I was faint and weak during my last pregnancy, the sweat poured off me. But it turned out fine.

Quarksoundslikequack · 13/01/2017 15:12

The 2 women waiting look like they are waiting for a bus....they seem absolutely fine, not that it's my place to judge their situation.

I "think" I felt a kick however it was only the one & hasn't done it since so I'm trying not to get my hopes up yet.

Tbh if you are on the verge of fainting and can't stand up to walk, with a new, pounding headache and feeling cold, out of breath and sick, then A&E may have been more appropriate as a starting point.

Quarksoundslikequack · 13/01/2017 15:15

I did explain all my symptoms however I was told that because my urine sample 2 weeks ago with the midwife was all fine, they weren't concerned Confused maybe it takes weeks?? I don't know.

However, keep this between us!

When I was in the toilet doing a sample, they had the sample tests in there, so I did my own....obviously I'm no doctor so can't take it as the truth but the KET, PH & PRO all turned a much darker shade.

However! As I said, I'm no medical professional so can only wait until they do one & tell me

Hi OP just seen this thread was going to advise but see your at hospital now and didn't want to read and run, I hope your seen soon you don't sound very well at all and I hope all is ok with you and your baby.

Maudlinmaud · 13/01/2017 15:18

You sound like you have some medical knowledge op.

MrsAHotch · 13/01/2017 15:20

OP - I had a urine test done one day at the GP surgery and it was "fine". The next day, I was hospitalised with a kidney infection and hyperemesis. Be vocal if you can.

slithytove · 13/01/2017 15:20

Please tell them all your symptoms. I was in your position; it didn't end well.
Please, go and beg them to test you and check baby.

SolomanDaisy · 13/01/2017 15:23

You have the symptoms of hellp syndrome, which can develop rapidly. Someone needs to take your blood pressure now.

DearMrDilkington · 13/01/2017 15:25

You sound like your coming down with the flu, your symptoms sound similar.

Hope your seen soon and baby is all ok. Sounds horrible, will sil be there soon?

ringroads · 13/01/2017 15:25

OP- youve been at maternity triage for 1.5 hours now and nobody has checked your vitals? B/P.. pulse..temp?
If this is so I would reconsider having your baby here and promptly ask to speak to the midwife in charge to complain and have your observations taken. Hope all goes well x

Quarksoundslikequack · 13/01/2017 15:29

Being seen!

Just done OBS, blood pressure is absolutely fine, however my pulse and temperature is quite high.

She's going to pass the info to the doc and let me know what they want to do.....&! She listened in, his heart rate is perfect!! Xx
