It's been well over 12 hours since I last felt movement, 8 of those were me asleep.

Feeling like absolute shite, out of breath, light headed.....pounding head.....feeling sick.

27 weeks pregnant today

Someone can surely at least get a Doppler on to have a quick check? Tell someone how unwell you feel and that you're worried. Please.

bessie84 · 13/01/2017 14:46

hoping all is well OP x

LurkinMerkin · 13/01/2017 14:48

I'm 29 weeks, baby had an unusually quiet day the other day and I was concerned, checked out on Doppler and all ok. has been busy kicking away since, hoping your wee one just shifted position and is having a lazy day. Try to stay calm. You've done the right thing noticing the reduced movement and acting on it. Everything crossed for you Xx

Izubela · 13/01/2017 14:48

No matter what you think they will say, this is about your baby so GO urgently !!!I had same problem with reduce movement and went every time ended up in having an induction just to be safe at 37 but been in hospital a lot before that as I needed to be monitored .I meet nasty midwifes but f them you need to make sure baby is ok!So no matter what GO!

NoArmaniNoPunani · 13/01/2017 14:49

Hope you're ok. Have they checked your blood pressure and urine?

witwootoodleoo · 13/01/2017 14:50

Fingers crossed for a good outcome. If I was feeling as terrible as you and in a queue to be seen frankly I'd stand up and go over to the desk and then come over faint so they have no choice but to see you right NOW. It might not be the polite British thing to do but frankly I wouldn't give a damn if it got me and my baby checked quickly. Better that than to find out later something could have been done if they'd acted quicker Flowers

PaulaBBB · 13/01/2017 14:51

Hope everything is ok OP. You are in the best place. We are all here if you need to chat.

MidMay · 13/01/2017 14:51

You are in the best place. Please ask to be escalated if you feel your symptoms are worsening.

Izubela · 13/01/2017 14:51

You should be seen straight away !Hope things are going to be ok.

steppemum · 13/01/2017 14:52

OP - please contact your DP/DH and get them to come and meet you. You need some moral support too.
If they can't is there a friend or your mum or anyone?

Also go to desk and say you feel really faint and think you are going to pass out.

TrampyCat · 13/01/2017 14:53

hope everything is ok OP

Quarksoundslikequack · 13/01/2017 14:59

Just asked for a sick bowl as feel I'm going to throw up everywhere.

Spoke to HCP she said they are trying to see me asap as can see how unwell I am.

Here on my own, everyone at work or busy & haven't spoke to the father of my child in 8 weeks.

My SIL just called & said if I'm still here once she's picked the kids up, she'll come up.

I really am struggling to sit up, standing up is a no go....just went an done a sample in the toilet, nearly fell over!

Gosh poor you , you do sound very unwell. Hope you get seen very soon

ImperialBlether · 13/01/2017 15:01

Have you told the nurse on duty that, OP?

Aki23 · 13/01/2017 15:02

Better you be paranoid then something awful happen. My MW said they would rather have their time wasted and everyone reassured then to ignore an emergency

Call 111/101 - can never remember - if they think its urgent they will send an ambulance if you cant drive

AliceInUnderpants · 13/01/2017 15:02

Why are they not seeing you NOW? This sounds like an emergency situation IMO.

lougle · 13/01/2017 15:03

Can you tell the midwives that you don't feel well, please? You sound like you could be quite unwell and if they just think you're concerned about fetal movements they might miss that.

ParrotPudding · 13/01/2017 15:03

Op please try not to panic. Drink as many cold sweet drinks as you can get your hands on, try to eat if you can.
My dd didn't move for nearly 16hrs, i was induced and she started moving the second they put pessary in.
Thinking of you!

lougle · 13/01/2017 15:05

Do you feel like you have a high heart rate? Can you feel your heart racing? Can you feel your pulse in your wrist? How is your breathing?
