Mrscrab don't get a doppler whatever you do! At this stage everything is more than 99% likely to be fine xx

Lolly2803 · 07/03/2017 20:47

I was thinking that earlier and forgot to write! How is everyone? I've got my 20 week scan tomorrow. I'm scanxious!

My rash has gone!!! I'm still slapping on the cream and bathing in oats when I get home but so far so good! Xxx

Hi everyone - yes sorry i was waiting anxiously for my midwife appt today which i am pleased to report was fine. Heard heartbeat! Started off sounding like a "train" which she said people think of as being a boy, but then when either she or baby moved it sounded like a "horse" which is more girl apparently. Clear as mud Hmm we're not finding out thou so we'll all have to wait til August!

Good luck for tomorrow lolly! Hope everyone else is fine xx

RafflesMaidenSister · 08/03/2017 03:55

Glad everyone has good news. Glad rash is gone Lolly - sounded horrific. I am getting nervous for 16 week scan on Monday. Also feel v sorry for myself as sickness is back. We're on holiday and so far have spent 2 days in bed. Have to work today but am able to move because I've given up in the idea of solids we'll both have to survive on my arse fat for a bit. Fortunately plenty to go round Grin. Mr RMS being lovely which makes me sad because it's wrecking his holiday too. Good luck for scans and appointments. Xxx

Lolly2803 · 08/03/2017 07:46

Brilliant news MrsCrab! I've heard that theory too but think really they're just a bit of fun! I'm going to wait as well although I'll definitely be showing you all my pictures today and asking for guesses!!

Sorry to hear you're not feeling good Raffles and whilst on holiday too! My nausea is still here so I'm with you on how annoying it is. Although I'm managing to eat which helps. Hope you feel better soon. On the plus side it's a good sign so keep positive. Monday will soon be here and baby Raffles heartbeat will make you feel so much better. Xxxx

You only posted a few times lolly Grin
I'm glad the rash has settled and your feeling better

mrscrabb all good news. There's another theory about the heartbeat. If it's over 145 beats per minute it's a girl and under its a boy. I can confirm that's rubbish though as this one's heartbeat was 153 beats per minute and it's definitely a boy.

raffles sorry your feeling rubbish again. I had a horrible bout at about 16 weeks which luckily I'm over move.

How's everyone on the movement front?

I have little boy things creeping in my house, although a major sort out is required which will be slow over the coming weeks

Lolly2803 · 08/03/2017 08:15

Sorry about that! Not sure how that happened!!

I've felt movement like that wave i mentioned before but no kicks yet. I am desperate for some though. Hoping it's soon!!

So exciting you've bought some bits. I'm still researching but yet to make any purchase. I've told myself to wait till after 24 weeks so will start after that. I've written a list though!!

Hi everyone! Glad your rash has gone, Lolly. Hope it stays away. And good luck with the 20 week scan today. I'm sure it will be fab.

Mrscrab great on the midwife front :o) The heart rate thing was the only giveaway with my DD - we didn't find out but she adhered to the 'rules' about the slightly faster heart rate.

Raffles bleurgh to the nausea. It's not fair in the second trimester!

Mistletoe good for you with the shopping! Is your DD excited about getting a little brother? Mine's still in denial and swears blind it's a girl.

It's been pretty busy this end. Considering I'm prego I'm the only one in my team who hasn't been off sick this year and I'm on a constant roll of covering peoples' work. It's good to be kept busy as the days go quickly but it's exhausting! We're also trying to figure out how we're going to do all our house projects before the baby comes, the biggest one being getting the kitchen completely re-done.

Have a good day all x

Lolly2803 · 08/03/2017 09:58

Aw Bear I love a house project! Have you got ideas? My phone is full of screen shots of bathroom ideas at the moment. If this house purchase goes through I want to try and get the main bathroom done before the babies come. We shall see though!

So cute your DD thinks it's a girl. I guess when she's used to a house of women it's hard for her to get her head around having a boy about! I'm sure she'll be a fab big sister though. xxx

It's good to see that everyone is doing good.

I haven't actually brought stuff myself, it's other people. I'm not sure I'm ready to be buying yet but I have made an amazon list so that's a start

Bear2014 · 08/03/2017 11:07

Lolly yep we're pretty decisive, went round a few showrooms this weekend when my parents had DD for the afternoon, booked an appointment for them to come out and measure up so it will probably go ahead in May as April is too busy. We've been living with the old crappy kitchen and utility since we moved in nearly 2 years ago so I'm mega excited. Our old flat didn't even have a kitchen, so this new baby will be living in the lap of luxury Wink

It will be fun choosing a bathroom! You'll need a big bath to accommodate those two.

Lolly2803 · 08/03/2017 11:24

Aw amazing you've got it all sorted!! Will be nice to have a lovely kitchen. I dream about when we could get the kitchen done...not for a while though with the plans I've got!!
We've not done anything to the flat we are currently in so will be nice to be able to plan the new house as I want it. Even though it will take a lot of time.

Haha yes I will need a big bath. I love a good bath too so its a must have in our house!

Bear2014 · 08/03/2017 11:38

It's pretty cool - feels very grown up! Which is stupid as I'm 36 years old with a child but that's what living in London does to you Grin Grin

Love a good bath. Our one is massive actually which is one thing the previous owners did right!
