Hi ladies! Starting a new thread for those of us who have spent a while on the infertility board while going trough various treatments and are technically pregnant but too scared to join a pregnancy thread! Smile

The whole buying and moving thing can be a nightmare but hopefully it will go smoothly! I am looking forward to being on mat leave in our house, being able to just wheel the buggy in and out, go in the garden etc. It will be a completely different experience.

Blueroses99 · 22/02/2017 17:59

Moving is really hard work! I'm a little frustrated that I can't really unpack or tidy up and generally 'nest' but am loving the new place.

I'm 16+2 today xx

FraggleRock77 · 22/02/2017 18:37

Good luck with the house purchase Lolly. I'm with you about coffee Bear. I have to have one skinny flat white from Costa, daily!
I'm 14 weeks on Sunday. Got my first cervical scan on the 8th March.
I've been really struggling with growing and stretching (well i think that's what it is) over the past few days, with waves of hot flushes and sickness! Is everyone else glowing in the second trimester?x

Lolly2803 · 22/02/2017 18:58

I have no glow! I am waiting for the pleasurable second trimester everyone talks about. I'm tired, nauseas, and my boobs are pink and hot tonight!
I hope I don't skip the nice stage!!

Glad you're loving the new place Blue! Hopefully you'll have some nesting time soon.

Sounds perfect Bear! Hopefully we have a nice summer so we can all be outside.

I also attempted a pregnancy DVD yesterday and I'm struggling to walk today! Was hard core! Anyone else exercising? I miss running and doing ridiculous high impact classes!!x

Lolly2803 · 22/02/2017 19:33

Fraggle I was a total gym bunny pre ivf. And used to eat super healthy. Since I started ivf / FET I kept up with the healthy eating but cut back on the exercise. Since I've been pregnant I've not done any exercise other than walking. No energy to be honest!! I do miss my old body but I'm just so happy to be in this position I'm ignoring it all until they're born and then I'll be back to it!!

Yes to caffeine, no to glow! I'm just heading into the second tri (yay!!!) and have acne and look tired. And my face is getting fat. I haven't done any exercise for months because I stopped really just before cycle 1 then that was cancelled most of the way through then the next one started quite soon after. Too scared and too tired to exercise since then. I went swimming for the first time the other day and had lots of ligament pain after. Getting a figure back after birth is going to be really hard but I don't care at this point as long as baby arrives ok...

Roll on summer for some gentle walking Smile

mistletoeprickles · 22/02/2017 20:49

The only way I glow is when I've thrown up a lot! It's still hitting me almost daily especially if I get up too quick.
After DD I did weight watchers and pilates. I didn't start until DD was about three months old but was at a pre pregnancy weight within 12 weeks. I'm happily porking out currently.

I have definite movement now, it's intermittent but is definately especially when I get into bed or have a bath

Bear2014 · 23/02/2017 09:51

Oh dear, Mistletoe! Hopefully not for too much longer. I'm jealous on the definite movement though, I'm semi convinced I've had the odd twitch but I know it's still early days.

I was very fit and active before I had DD. I would do on average 4 classes a week, mostly spinning. I carried on some easy spinning until I was about 28 weeks pregnant and swam up until she was born. I completely let it go after she arrived as I was so sore and tired for ages and she would never take a bottle so I couldn't reliably escape. Since going back to work I have struggled to fit anything in. I'm going to do Weight Watchers and buggy fit etc when this one is born then I'm going to try and take up running even though I hate it, as we live next to a gorgeous park and it's free! Determined to get that bikini body back before I hit 40 Grin

Lolly2803 · 23/02/2017 11:30

I'm so jealous of any kind of movement! I've not heard a peep from them!
I'm feeling really sick again today as well.

I will be taking up running to Bear even though I've always resisted it as much as I could. Will def be getting my body back afterwards. My body has completely changed already, feels like someone else's!

Hope you ladies are all ok today.

Mistletoe sorry the puking is still here. I've not actually been sick just have the feeling sick and he watery mouth! Blurgh.

Well given how heavy my DD is to push in her buggy, I'm guessing if you push the pair of them up enough hills, the weight will fall off!

Lolly2803 · 23/02/2017 13:47

That's true. My sister keeps saying I'm going to have really slim toned arms!!

It's maternity clothes shopping day for me, I give it an hour before I'm pissed off Grin.

I got up yesterday, DP looked at me and said "where on earth did that come from". Everything has popped out and I'm now obvious to the outside world! It's true what they say about second pregnancies being more obvious. With DD I just looked slightly podgy until around 27 weeks.
It feels good though.

Hope everyone is ok xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 24/02/2017 07:59

Good luck mistletoe! Got an emergency scan today. Need some good luck!

mistletoeprickles · 24/02/2017 08:16

Oh no raffles are you ok?

Lolly2803 · 24/02/2017 08:19

Good luck Raffles. Hope everything is ok. Xxxx

Good luck Raffles, hope you're ok!

FraggleRock77 · 24/02/2017 10:23

Good luck xxx

Blueroses99 · 24/02/2017 11:25

Best of luck Raffles xxx

RafflesMaidenSister · 24/02/2017 18:09

Thanks guys. Looks like, fortunately, everything is OK. There has been a mix up over test results (midwife had misunderstood them and then failed to recognise/admit this so that it was only cleared up when I saw the doctor before having an invasive procedure today) and I have spent two days living in absolute terror, where it seems to be the case that this was never necessary.

Very relieved, but upset about the misery of the last two days, which was unnecessary. Still, all sorted now and looks like the Fig is fine, so that's the main thing.

Thanks for all the support. Hope everyone else is doing OK, and are finding maternity clothes. I'm not there yet - but it looks like an uphill struggle!

Lolly2803 · 24/02/2017 18:36

Phew - so glad all is ok Raffles. Hopefully you can relax and get some rest now. Very bad they messed up your results but at least all well with baby Raffles. xxx

I'm having scanxiety about my 20wk scan. Worried they'll find something wrong or the babies won't be ok.
I've got a cervix check on Monday so I'll see the babies but it won't be a detailed scan.

Bring on the 8th March!!!!!

OP posts:
Blueroses99 · 25/02/2017 10:27

Raffles that's awful that they got you so worried over a mix up!! I'm pleased to hear that it is sorted and all is well with you and fig.

Lolly good luck with the scan on Monday.

I'm going back to the pre-term clinic on Thursday. Coincidentally the midwife that gave me the wrong info before took my 16w appointment yesterday so I got to meet her before next week. Hoping for a less stressful ride this week!

Bear2014 · 25/02/2017 10:48

Bloody hell Raffles that sounds awful! Hope you manage to have a much more relaxed weekend.

Hope everyone else is doing well. My main gripe this weekend is that I can't have a few drinks so I guess that means I'm fine Wink

FraggleRock77 · 25/02/2017 17:38

That sounds awful Raffles! You poor thing. I hope you're having a better weekend? We had our Harmony Test earlier and got some 4D pics of the baby! So weird in 4D! I had to take my DS of 3 with me. He wanted to know what they were doing! I said they we checking my tummy to see if i was hungry. 10 days and we will know the sex!!! Hope everyone else is well? I asked her to have a check of my cervix (well what she could see from a non internal) and she couldn't see any funnelling x

Bear2014 · 26/02/2017 13:14

Fraggle good luck with Harmony. That's funny about DS. When will you tell him about the baby?

I'm 16 weeks today, feels like a mini milestone. Picked up my Mothercare haul too. Won't buy any more clothes though as we have plenty and this one could feasibly be 10lb.
