Aw that's exciting Bear!! Is she as nervous and anxious as all of us? Glad all going well.

Yes I feel better knowing what it was. I hope it moves although they didn't really talk too much about it and said not to worry so hopefully it's ok.
They were huge!! Very baby like! One was sucking its thumb and the other was pouting and looking like it was blowing a kiss. Very cute. It's crazy how quickly they grow from week to week even!

Next scan/cervix check 27th Feb! Eeekk!

How are you ladies today? xxx

She was very nervous as her last IVF ended in a chemical pregnancy but I think she's relaxing a bit more now. We don't really discuss it as she's the type that would get worked up...

Ah how cute! Our DD is a devoted thumb sucker and I am sure this one was sucking it's thumb at the 12 week scan.

27th isn't too long at all. Hooray! xx

Lolly2803 · 14/02/2017 09:48

Aw can understand that. Glad things seem to be going well for her too.
When is your next scan again? I keep forgetting!
My nausea has been quiet bad last few days. Could only manage some rice and egg last night!
How are you feeling? xxxx

Bear2014 · 14/02/2017 13:33

We've got our gender scan on 1st March. I'm very lucky, haven't had any nausea whatsoever. My sis on the other hand is sick as a dog! The tiredness seems to be subsiding for me, although it's often hard to tell as DD goes through phases of bad sleep which have a lot more impact than hormones.

Exciting times! xxx

mistletoeprickles · 14/02/2017 17:22

Oh there's been a lot going on.

lolly glad your scan went well and babies are looking good.

mrscrabb not long for you until your scan. Is that your 12 week one?

bear movements are entirely possibly. If I remember right your just a couple of days behind me and I've had definite movement. I've found gas etc is in a different place. It's very sporadic though, nothing at all yesterday then made me jump this morning!

My sickness seems to have calmed a lot in the last week. I have been very nauseous today but I had 4 days with nothing which was lovely.

I have given in and ordered some maternity tops today, with my boobs being different and a slight bump I've been rotating 3 tops which is silly!

Sorry to those I've missed, it's a pain scrolling up and down on my phone xxx

MrsCrabtree · 14/02/2017 18:21

Hi Mistletoe, yes it's on Friday. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow tho. Had another bout of significant bright red bleeding. I am trying to remind myself it was ok last time but it's so distressing that I am preparing for the worst. I am not going to go to the EPU this time, Im just waiting for Friday but it is awful waiting. I feel like I'm a broken record on here tho so I'm just going to lie low until I find out on Friday. I'll let you guys know. Sending lots of love out to you all Flowers xxx

FraggleRock77 · 14/02/2017 20:42

Lots of positive news, which is lovely. Wish me luck for tomorrow! Getting nervous! Keep visualising my last 12 week scan!x

Lolly2803 · 14/02/2017 22:09

Good Luck Fraggle! Let us know how you get on. Sending lots of positive vibes your way!

MrsCrab hope you're ok. I know how scary bleeding is! The Drs told me loads of women bleed and it's nothing sinister, they never know why! If it was fine before then it's most likely absolutely fine now. Hang in there and we are here whenever you need us xxx

Mistletoe glad your sickness is easing and you've bought some new clothes! Exciting times!

Hope you get a good nights sleep Bear. Not long till the gender scan. I'm excited!!! Still team Blue though :-) xxxx

Hi everyone, I've been off the thread for ages, lots I've missed I see!

Good luck fraggle and crab with your scans.

My news is I had a good Harmony result nearly 2 weeks ago now, that was a bit of a moment, opening the email in the toilets in the middle of a busy working day! Had to get lots of stuff done first knowing the result was waiting for me as I didn't know what state I'd be in afterwards. Massive relief.

Still the worries go on though, it's hard after a second trimester loss. 16+3 today.

Have bought some maternity clothes too mistletoe. My bump's pretty big, previously I might have muddled through but I've learnt all you do then is stretch clothes that you then won't be able to wear afterwards!

Crossed the bridge of telling parents in law at the weekend. All a bit weird as I've had a few issues with the way they responded to my last loss. They're all a bit 'so everything's fine this time then?' And don't understand how difficult it is. I think it's hard unless you've been through something similar, that's why this thread's so good.

Oh and I'm having very slight movements, it's the faintness of them that makes them quite distinctive. Wind's much more obvious! So now I'm watching out for them every day. AAaargh!

I've got massive waits between scans, starting to feel I must be setting some sort of record for scan to anxiety ratio. Just 13 weeks and 22 for me! Seems strange to be treated as officially 'normal' scan wise when I'm pushing 43 with a previous problem pregnancy but hey ho.

Sorry, babbling on a bit. Will keep up with the thread better in future!

Good luck guys. Hope the nausea gets better Lolly.

Lolly2803 · 15/02/2017 09:09

Good Luck Fraggle!!

Welcome back eastegg! Glad everything is going well with the pregnancy. I think the scanxiety is normal, we all share that with you!
Sorry the parents in law had such an odd reaction. I guess as you say it's difficult for people to really understand. Although I still think they could have given a better response than that! But don't let that dampen your spirits, everything is going really well so lots to smile and be happy about.

Enjoy your bump! We are here for support when you need us.

Morning everyone else xxxx

Bear2014 · 15/02/2017 09:34

Mistletoe Glad you're feeling a bit better and exciting that you're feeling definite movement! I still can't make up my mind if I've felt it or not.

Mrscrab sorry about the bleeding, bet you can't wait for your scan now.

Fraggle it will be amazing! I couldn't believe how detailed and thorough the 12 week scan was, I was literally being scanned for an hour. It's all come on a lot in 3.5 years, that's for sure.

eastegg welcome back! Brilliant news on Harmony and reaching 16 weeks, that's great. My in laws are weird too, thankfully they live a very long way away. My mum doesn't really get it either though, I don't think unless you have had a loss you ever completely can.

Lolly - I'm sure it is a boy, yes. I'm pretty much used to the idea now although DD will take a lot of convincing.

Have a great day all xx

FraggleRock77 · 15/02/2017 19:08

Evening all. Sorry for the delay. Our 12 week scan went well. Still in shock! Feeling slightly indifferent if I'm honest but don't know why?! Saw the consultant who wasn't worried about scanning my cervix for another 3 weeks. On my bloody 40th bday!! Wishing everyone else good luck this week xxx

Bear2014 · 15/02/2017 20:26

That's great news Fraggle Smile think it's self preservation to be honest, I still can't get excited in the way I did with DD. It was a more innocent time! X

FraggleRock77 · 15/02/2017 20:52

Thanks Bear. Yes i agree x

Lolly2803 · 15/02/2017 21:50

Great news Fraggle!! It's hard to relax and enjoy it but we all need to try. So glad all is looking well. Roll on the next scan!!!

Hope everyone else is well!

Still waiting for the second trimester wonder feeling everyone talks about. The lack of sickness and higher energy don't seem to have reached me yet! Been asleep on the sofa since dinner and am now in bed. This happens most evenings!! Anyway night all xxxx

I think I'm going a bit mad - I really wanted one of these bodysuits to put new baby in and it's already sold out online so I'm off to Mothercare after work to try and hunt one down! They were only released today!

Just popping on to report another good scan. Was good to see it again.

Hope everyone else is doing well and you found your bodysuit, Bear.

FraggleRock77 · 16/02/2017 19:26

Love the baby grow Bear. Have you put 'ivf baby grows' into amazon, some cute ones come up. Also a company called 'rainbow baby'. If you can't get hold of the Mothercare one. Congrats Raffles x

Lolly2803 · 16/02/2017 21:26

Great news Raffles! Hope you're feeling more relaxed now xxx

Bear2014 · 16/02/2017 21:41

Great news Raffles!

There's obviously a lot of demand for rainbow baby gear. I'll check it out, thanks xx
