Hi ladies! Starting a new thread for those of us who have spent a while on the infertility board while going trough various treatments and are technically pregnant but too scared to join a pregnancy thread! Smile

You're all making me very jealous!!! I am sure you're not imagining it. Especially if you know what to feel for! I think unless I get a whacking great kick I'll miss it!!

lolly having two in there you will feel it soon, I'm sure.

We're slowly going from a bunch of "I hope it's all ok" to "this could really happen".
It's such a lovely thread

FraggleRock77 · 11/02/2017 18:21

Someone tell me to stop freaking out! Currently stressing that my verb

FraggleRock77 · 11/02/2017 18:23

(Posted too soon!) cervix is going to give way before my 12 week scan. Not helped by a thread on the pregnancy board about people having issues at early stages and losses! Sooo bloated and look about 50 weeks pregnant!

Blueroses99 · 11/02/2017 18:27

Fraggle there is not enough weight for the cervix to give way before 16wks ish so honestly don't worry about that now! xx

Blueroses99 · 11/02/2017 18:28

*baby weight

I'm also v bloated, look much more than 3-4months!

mistletoeprickles · 11/02/2017 18:35

fraggle step away from those threads. I was on the due august thread but there was so much to frighten me I just couldn't be on it anymore

FraggleRock77 · 11/02/2017 18:37

Thank you both. Good point blue. I do not find this process easy!x

FraggleRock77 · 11/02/2017 19:13

Sorry to spoil the positive vibes on the thread!x

Blueroses99 · 11/02/2017 20:24

Sadly 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss and the vast majority of these are in the first trimester. As I'm more aware than anyone here, it can happen at any time, there is no real 'safe' zone, and on any antenatal thread there are unfortunately likely to be some losses. Never forget how precious and fragile the gift that you are carrying is, but as the baby grows each day, cherish in the strength and hope. The odds are in your favour xx

Bear2014 · 11/02/2017 21:17

Yes absolutely blue is right. I hope you are feeling a bit calmer now Fraggle. It's so so hard sometimes xx

ellesbellesxxx · 12/02/2017 07:07

Ahh so lovely lots of you are feeling movement.. I am still feeling flutters and think I am starting to feel a few kicks but not much movement at all :( xxx

FraggleRock77 · 12/02/2017 08:19

I'm feeling better thank you. Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday. So looking forward to getting to the feeling movement stage again. X

Mrscrabtree · 12/02/2017 13:08

Hey fraggle, I hear you. I'm worrying myself about every possible eventuality and have also made the mistake of looking on various threads that make me feel I have no chance of this working out, people who have lost babies just after a positive scan etc. How I'm going to make it to the scan on Friday I don't know! I'm not sure im the best person to reassure you but I can tell you you aren't alone feeling this way and I think we're very similar on dates. I keep trying to remind myself that the statistics are in our favour and even though I still feel like I'm "unlucky" and something's bound to go wrong, I'm also remembering that I am actually lucky to even have got this far so maybe that luck can carry on. It's really hard though! xxx

Lolly2803 · 12/02/2017 18:36

Thank you for my cyclogest Bear!!!! xxxx

Ladies everything you're feeling is normal. I think all of us on this thread are always worrying and thinking the worst. It's part and parcel of sub-Fertility I think! But we have to remember the odds are in our favour and there's every chance this will work out and we will have beautiful babies at the end of it.
We've got to stay strong and think positive and enjoy every minute of being pregnant as it is such a special gift that we've all wanted for a very long time.
I don't think the worry ever ends, it just changes! We're in it together and we will all get there. We've all had good and bad days but we're still going strong. Hope you're all ok and had a good weekend xxxx

Morning ladies! How are you all doing today? I've got a scan at the clinic today. Booked it mainly for a cervix check but excited to see the babies again. Hope they're ok!

If all ok with cervix etc then think it'll be my last till my 20wk scan!!

More 12 week scans this week right?!! Exciting!!!

Bear2014 · 13/02/2017 09:51

Morning everyone! Lolly glad you got the Cyclogest ok. Hope the scan goes ok today - exciting times!

It's been 2 weeks since my last scan and it's 2 weeks to my next one! Gah! Trying not to go slowly crazy, imagining baby movements and freaking out that we've told DD too soon. But I know the odds are in our favour.

Thinking of all scan people this week! xx

Lolly2803 · 13/02/2017 10:16

I'm sure you're not imagining it. Everything I've read says second babies you feel earlier. Some really early!! I'm sure everything with baby Bear is fine and think how he'll have changed since the last scan!! I'm saying he until proved otherwise haha!

After today I'll have 3 weeks till my 20 week scan so I'll be well and truly joining in the scanxiety. Nausea and a growing belly keeping me cautiously reassured!!

Thank goodness for you ladies!!

It definitely helps my mental state to believe that the movements are real. But I had a big delicious curry last night so it really could be anything Wink

Enjoy the scan!

RafflesMaidenSister · 13/02/2017 12:56

Glad to hear everyone's cheerful. Finished my utrogestan yesterday (12 weeks today). Feeling reasonably positive about things going forward and hoping to feel less sick. It's been a tiny bit horrific. Scans on Thursday and Saturday (was so relieved at the last one at the clinic that I bought the "scan package" for the rest of pregnancy) and then first meeting with NHS care. TBF my NHS trust have been lovely over the phone and got me fitted in really quickly when I ballsed up timings.

Fingers crossed everything will be OK - for all of us. Stay positive, and may the odds be ever in your favour Wink

Lolly2803 · 13/02/2017 14:10

Hey Raffles, hope you feel less sick. Mine is still hanging around but every time I go to the clinic they say that's good.

My scan went well. Cervix was long they said and babies looking brilliant, can't believe how big they are!
She also found the reason for the bleed, the placenta is covering the cervix. She said nothing to worry about though. xx

RafflesMaidenSister · 13/02/2017 19:06

That's fantastic that they know why and not a problem! Glad it went well. Starting to get worried for Thursday scan now.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Xxx

Bear2014 · 14/02/2017 07:37

That's great that you had a good scan, Lolly. They must be looking very baby-like now! Good to have identified the cause of the bleeding too, hopefully if it happens again it will be less stressful.

Try not to worry raffles and hope the time goes quickly. 2 more sleeps!

My sister had a good 7 week scan yesterday at her clinic so looking like DD will have 2 babies to contend with this autumn!! Shock
