Hi ladies! Starting a new thread for those of us who have spent a while on the infertility board while going trough various treatments and are technically pregnant but too scared to join a pregnancy thread! Smile

That's great Lolly, I'm glad you are reassured.

I saw a specialist midwife that wanted me to make a follow up for 32w. Can't help thinking, if I get that far...

Bear2014 · 09/02/2017 11:21

That's really good Lolly xx

Lolly2803 · 09/02/2017 11:26

Blue you will get there! Baby is well and truly snuggled in so try and relax and enjoy it. Hard I know but all is well so far!

The consultant said they won't let me go past 38 weeks which is 15th July. The due date I had been given was 28th July. He then said 1/3 of twins come before 37 weeks. So can't make any plans yet.
Feel better though.

Hope you are all doing ok! xxx

All goods really good lolly

Hope everyone else is ok?

Not a lot to report here, a few stretching pains and that's about it. Focusing massively on the gender scan now. DD has asked if when we find out can she buy something for the baby so we've said yes. It's kind of nice that the first thing brought will be from DD.
Had another look at cribs yesterday, me and DP have agreed on one but I won't be ordering any time soon.
I'll probably panic buy everything about 35 weeks!

Bear2014 · 10/02/2017 09:32

Morning everyone! Hope all is well and no one is bleeding today.

I've got my consultant appointment at 11 this morning. Should be an exciting trip out for DD ;o) We actually ended up telling her about the baby last night. A couple of her nursery teachers have made comments in front of her after spotting my Baby on Board badge (whoops) so we thought we better have a sit down chat. She seemed happy, but being 3 obviously doesn't really get it. She said 'can we open it now?' and also swears that it is going to be a girl 'just like us'! Haha we'll cross that bridge when we get there after the gender scan...

Lolly2803 · 10/02/2017 09:45

Awww Bear your DD sounds so cute. "Can we open it now" awww that's really made me smile bless her.
Hope the consultant appointment goes well. Hopefully you'll get a peek at baby! I literally had a quick peek yesterday but was still lovely and kept me smiling all day.

No more bleeding for me, hope it stays away! Can't wait to feel them moving now!!

Hope you ladies are all ok xxxx

Just back from my consultant appointment. It was quite literally the biggest waste of time ever and I'm actually pretty cross about it. God bless the NHS bla bla but they seriously boil my piss at times. DD and I were kept waiting for an hour and 15 minutes in a waiting room that was so hot, DD would have stripped naked if I let her. She was good as gold and met another little girl to play with. Then they called us in, DD didn't want to come as she was playing, and I ended up having to carry her under my arm, push the buggy with the other while she screamed. The appointment lasted 5 mins and DD was sniffing and whimpering throughout :o( All they did was dip my wee sample, take my blood pressure and tell me to come back at 36 weeks. If they are paying consultants to do this day in, day out no wonder the system is on its knees, frankly Angry

Lolly2803 · 10/02/2017 13:18

Oh no!!! That sounds horrific and a complete waste of time. How come you have to come back so late? Will they not see you before that?
Sorry you've had such a rough morning that is really bad from them. So much waste in the NHS...

They just see you at 36 weeks to book you in for your section date. They told me after DD was born that I should have another section so it's not really up for discussion and it's just basically admin. I wasn't necessarily expecting loads from the appointment, I just reasoned that if I'm seeing the consultant it would be above and beyond just a pit stop check that anyone could do. I don't know why the waiting times still annoy me so much, I'm so used to them ;o) xx

RafflesMaidenSister · 10/02/2017 18:50

Can everyone remind me where they are up to? I keep forgetting how far along everyone in this thread is. I'm 12 weeks on Monday, and I think I'm one of the last.

Bear2014 · 10/02/2017 18:52

14 weeks on Sunday xx

Lolly2803 · 10/02/2017 18:58

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow!

ellesbellesxxx · 11/02/2017 08:03

22 weeks next week!

mistletoeprickles · 11/02/2017 10:05

I'm sorry you had a shit time bear it's almost a waste of your time and nhs resources.

My screening has come back this morning. There's no concern which is good news. Two weeks today until I get to see baby again Smile

Blueroses99 · 11/02/2017 10:15

I'm 14+5 today!

Great news misteltoe.

How annoying for you Bear.

Bear2014 · 11/02/2017 10:47

That's great, Mistletoe!

I feel a bit sheepish about my rant today, as in reality without the NHS I would either be bankrupt or dead! But that's what being in a waiting room with a toddler does to your nerves Grin

It's amazing that we've all come so far xx

Lolly2803 · 11/02/2017 11:15

I was just thinking the same Bear. It all feels surreal, can't believe I'm 4 months today! I might actually end up with two babies!!! Eeekk!!!

We are all doing so well and so nice to have each other to share things with xxx

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 11/02/2017 12:30

I think I'm feeling things!
I swear I've felt movement a couple of times in the last few days, it can't be right? It's a different feeling to gas. DD was so long ago I can't remember what it felt like a first

Bear2014 · 11/02/2017 13:24

Mistletoe I think I am too. I did at 18 weeks definitely with DD and I had an anterior placenta with her so i reckon it's not impossible this time at 14 weeks without the placenta thing?! Hard to differentiate from gas though right?!!

Blueroses99 · 11/02/2017 13:28

I think I can feel my little one too! Everyone is telling me it's too soon but I think I can feel wriggles whereas in my last pregnancy it was just kicks!

Lolly2803 · 11/02/2017 13:30

Awwww that's so exciting ladies!!! I haven't felt anything yet....I cannot wait though I am so excited to feel them.

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 11/02/2017 14:50

Oh thank god its not just me, I thought I was going mad.
After I had lunch today I went to lay down and feeling was on and off for a good half hour. I said to DP I few days ago I'm sure this is movement but he looked at me like a crazy person because it's quite early.
