Thanks guys. Everything ok again. They couldn't see the SCH or a reason for the bleeding but baby is ok. Only 2 more weeks til my 13 week scan... Please can we get to it with no more issues!!

Good luck blue xx

Bear2014 · 03/02/2017 12:08

Mrscrab that's great! Brilliant news xx

Blueroses99 · 03/02/2017 12:43

Thanks for the well wishes. Little miss blue is safely sewn in! I had a spinal and I'm waiting for the feeling to return to my legs before I can think about leaving. Got really nervy this morning about the effect of anaesthetic on the baby, everyone says it's fine but I'd really like some actual reassurance before I just sit and worry til my next appointment. I'm right next door to the maternity unit so hopeful that something can be arranged... 😊

Lolly2803 · 03/02/2017 13:12

Fantastic news MrsCrab. Some people just bleed!! Scary but regular checks will hopefully put your mind at rest. So happy for you.

Glad baby Blue is safely sewn in! Hopefully you can relax a bit now. I'm sure al is fine, they would have said if there was anything to worry about. Hope you're not too uncomfortable xxx

Lovely to hear that everything is still ok MrsCrab. You're right to go back frequently if you're worried. I ended up with a photo album full of early pics last time due to regular bleeding.
Pleased to hear it all went well Blue x

Blueroses99 · 03/02/2017 13:56

Just had a quick scan and she's wriggling away!

So glad to hear everything is ok with you MrsCrab

Lolly2803 · 04/02/2017 08:20

Brilliant news Blue!! Hope you are feeling much more relaxed.
Hope you ladies are all ok and have a nice weekend! xxx

I'm not having a good day today, I've had some brown discharge so I've got gentle period style cramps. I've rang epu and they've said to see how it goes.

I'm now obsessing Sad

Lolly2803 · 05/02/2017 13:47

Brown is old Mistletoe so I wouldn't worry too much. Is the pain mild? Could just be stretching and growing. I have cramps and twinges etc all the time.

Can you go and get checked out tomorrow to put your mind at rest? Hope you're ok. I'm sure everything is fine but I know how scary these things are. Xxxx

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 05/02/2017 14:14

I'd say it's more of a discomfort than a pain. I'm just being very paranoid. They've basically said a long as it's not red it'll be fine.
When I lost my last baby it started like this. I'm just hoping I've irritated my cervix or something xx

Bear2014 · 05/02/2017 14:23

Oh no Mistletoe! But as Lolly says brown usually means old blood. Definitely get it checked out though. xx

Lolly2803 · 05/02/2017 14:36

Highly likely Mistletoe especially if the pain is mild. I would still get checked out though. Anything to reduce unnecessary worry. xxx

Mrscrabtree · 06/02/2017 07:19

Hey mistletoe, of course you're worried. I'm sure it's ok - brown is usually fine and I'm proof that you can bleed all the damn time and be ok (so far) BUT as you said to me, get it checked out to set your mind at rest. You'll only stress yourself otherwise. You're perfectly within your rights to have a check at the EPU. If you have to slightly exaggerate in order that they take you seriously then do it. Let us know how it goes and good luck xxx

mistletoeprickles · 06/02/2017 07:51

Thanks all.
I'm going to ring epu when they open and see if they'll have a look.
Bit of TMI....It was like a brown/green snot kind of situation. I've had no more since yesterday evening but I'm panicking.
Sods law I'm due back at work today!

Bear2014 · 06/02/2017 10:30

Hope all is ok Mistletoe! That definitely sounds like more of an irritation with you than an issue with the baby.

I'm so mentally impaired at the moment. I got all the way to work this morning and realised I didn't have my laptop, so had to come all the way back and work from home. 2.5 hour round trip! Gah.

Lolly2803 · 06/02/2017 11:12

Bear I hear you! I keep forgetting things or making mistakes. Things like putting washing in but not turning on. Putting totally wrong addresses into sat navs and not realising till we are there. My DH keeps saying "pregnancy" when I do something wrong! Annoying about the laptop though!

Hope all ok Mistletoe! Keep us posted. Thinking of you xxxx

mistletoeprickles · 06/02/2017 11:18

I've been checked and all is fine, appears I've just iratated my cervix some how.
Wriggly baby is looking lovely.
Thanks everyone xxxxx

Blueroses99 · 06/02/2017 12:04

Glad everything is ok Misteltoe.

Bear that's annoying! Hopefully it just means you won't forget again!

Lolly I'm doing stuff like that all the time too!

Mrscrabtree · 06/02/2017 12:43

Yay great news mistletoe!

How annoying Bear! I have so little energy for work at the moment... urgh xx

Bear2014 · 06/02/2017 13:07

Great news Mistletoe!

Maternity leave can't come soon enough to be honest. I know it's no holiday but it's been more than 2 years since I went back to work after having DD and it's all such a juggling act! So tired.

Lolly2803 · 06/02/2017 13:46

Fantastic Mistletoe!! So pleased.

I am counting down till maternity leave. Although I'm still not allowing myself to get too carried away. Are any of you ladies like that? Not sure if it's because I've not seen babies for a while or just fertility treatment scars!! It's like DH and I are excited and then we think ooops let's just go back a bit and see.

OP posts:
Bear2014 · 06/02/2017 14:07

Definitely Lolly!! I haven't seen the little bugger for a week now and I'm suspicious of what he's getting up to in there ;o)

I feel a bit conflicted about my mat leave - in a way it will be nice to not have to focus on work as that takes over a certain amount of my time with DD but there will be a baby there doing the same in terms of splitting my attentions....

Blueroses99 · 06/02/2017 14:11

Today is my first day of leave! Thinking it will roll into maternity leave as I can't imagine I'll be wanting to go back to work at 20w! I am sitting here watching husband and his friend unpacking. My contribution so far is to order pizza for lunch and make 'helpful' suggestions from the sofa (it's bringing out the back seat driver in me!)
