Hi ladies! Starting a new thread for those of us who have spent a while on the infertility board while going trough various treatments and are technically pregnant but too scared to join a pregnancy thread! Smile

Morning all.
bear your scan looks very similar to mine. I'm secretly hoping for a boy! I'll take anything for a happy healthy baby but a boy would give us the set.

We have a gender scan booked for 4 weeks time.

How is everyone?

blue I have no experience with stitches but if I was in your shoes I probably wouldn't do the study either. I would be selfish and think I'd do what the consultant recommends to give you the best chance possible.

Not much to report from here, not many symtoms now. Just the odd sweep of sickness. We have now told most people, just a few odd family left.

I have also had a meeting with work this week, I shocked them because they didn't think I'd put up a fight and they admitted that. I played my cards close to my chest and didn't reveal everything I know. They have said they will try to compromise but I'm not convinced. They'll come back to me in the next few days. They certainly didn't like the line "you've backed me into a corner". Just a waiting game now

Bear2014 · 02/02/2017 08:44

Good for you mistletoe. They had backed you into a corner so well done for calling them out on it. Fingers crossed it gets resolved soon for you.

I still can't get my head around the boy thing! I always imagined having 2 girls but that's almost definitely because it was just me and my sister growing up. I'm embracing it though Smile

Xx

Lolly2803 · 02/02/2017 09:22

Well done Mistletoe. Stand your ground! They sound like a bunch of bullies. Hope it all gets resolved soon though so you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Aw Bear it will be fab - you'll have the set! I have no idea what the twins are. Everyone seems to think diff. I'm not getting any vibes at all and I know nothing about telling from scans.

I've still got my cough. It's very slowly getting better but still really annoying. I'm also super bunged up and blowing my nose and bunged up. Not sure if that will go as I can't remember when I didn't have that!! Argh just feeling really crap.

Nearly the weekend thankfully!! Xxx

Aw Lolly I really hope that you get your brilliant second trimester, full of beans and vitality ;o) it's been a long slog for you.

Ha - I know, it's only been 2 days so I'm sure i'll get used to the idea. I've already been looking at some super cute sleepsuits. I love Little Bird (Jools Oliver) for Mothercare and Scandanavian brands like POP. Great for gay-friendly babies and rainbow babies alike! If it is a boy it can still wear most of DD's 0-1 stuff anyway, but I hate dull boys' clothes so he will be head to toe in garish colours and patterns! If he's anything like DD he will be bald for ages so hopefully we'll swerve comments about him looking like a girl.

Blueroses99 · 02/02/2017 09:51

Well done Misteltoe, good for you that they're caught on the back foot thinking you'll just roll over Grin

Lolly poor you, hope you shake it off soon.

Bear shopping is the fun bit! The only thing I've bought so far is a Peter Rabbit box set. Planning to read aloud to the bump!

Any gender guesses before I hopefully find out today?

Blue good choice! It is indeed the fun bit.

Cute picture! I am terrible at this but I can't see 'anything' in that region so I'll go with GIRL xx

RafflesMaidenSister · 02/02/2017 10:35

Just wanted to pop on to say I have been following you all and delighted to see good news for so many of you.

Had scan today (10+3) and everything looked good.

Hope everyone is doing well and fingers crossed for all those due in the next few weeks (and everyone else too).

Blueroses99 · 02/02/2017 12:17

Great news Raffles!

I've just found out! Any more guesses before I spill...?

RafflesMaidenSister · 02/02/2017 12:18

Girl?

Lolly2803 · 02/02/2017 12:21

Bear2014 · 02/02/2017 12:23

That's brilliant news Raffles!!

C'mon Blue xx

Lolly2803 · 02/02/2017 12:24

Bear2014 · 02/02/2017 12:24

Aaah cross post!!

Amazing!! Girls are incredible but I might be biased. Congratulations xx

Blueroses99 · 02/02/2017 12:29

I'm really happy, I had no preference either way but I've been having girl vibes since the very beginning. Part of the reason for finding out is I was so sure it was a girl, and because we lost our boy, that it would time to get our heads around having another boy.

Mrscrabtree · 02/02/2017 12:52

Congratulations Blue!!! That's fabulous news Flowers A gorgeous girl!

Great news for you too Raffles!

I started bleeding again last night and so now obviously terrified again. I'm kind of exhausted with it all though so I am trying not to panic and to see if it gets worse or not. I'm trying to tell myself that it could be the SCH again. I can't keep on going to the EPU so I'm just trying to tolerate the anxiety. Sorry to be a grump yet again! Wish this all wasn't so hard xxx

Lolly2803 · 02/02/2017 13:04

Aw MrsCrab try not to worry. I'm sure it's the SCH and everything is fine. You can also go to the EPU as many times as you need. Don't feel bad!! When is your next scan?

Hope you're ok xxx

Lolly2803 · 02/02/2017 13:09

Aw amazing Blue I am so pleased for you. Eeek I want to find out now!! I won't but I want to!!

OP posts:
Blueroses99 · 02/02/2017 13:10

Thanks MrsCrab. I'm sorry that you're having more bleeding but I would be straight to EPU too. If you're worried about work, you are protected while you're pregnant, can't be disciplined for pregnancy related illness etc.

Bear2014 · 02/02/2017 13:34

Mrscrab please go to the EPU if you're worried. Your health and that of your baby is paramount, don't ever let anyone claim otherwise. I'm sure it's all fine though. xx

Mrscrabtree · 02/02/2017 14:10

Thanks ladies. This is such a tough process! I really cannot go today so I think I'll see how I feel tomorrow and go then if I am worried.

I am so excited for all of you with your sex finding out! We weren't planning to find out but i think I will be hard not to try to guess from scans etc x

mistletoeprickles · 02/02/2017 14:16

mrscrabb please go to the epu, you need your mind put at rest.

blue congratulations Cake

I've just been given the go ahead to stop cyclocest. I'm nervous! After 12 weeks on them I am worried but the consultant knows what he's on about so no more for me. My butt will be relieved Grin

Lolly2803 · 02/02/2017 16:36

MrsCrab def go tomorrow if you're worried. I'm sure it's ok though.

Mistletoe that's so exciting! I'm loving wheening off the drugs. Although I'm stuck with cyclogest the whole time! Speaking of which Bear can you PM me? For some reason I can only reply to them and can't actually send them and Id love to take you up on the offer of a box if it's still going! xxx

Mrscrabtree · 02/02/2017 18:53

I spoke to a midwife at my local hospital and she said to go to the EPU tomorrow just to be sure x
