Ahhh one more sleep Lolly and two mrs crab! Hope your cough eases soon Lolly... I panicked about the vomiting and would it effect babies but they are all tucked up! Mrs crab hope the bleeding eases up xxx

Mistletoe my anamoly scan is day after your 12 week one! Only seven more sleeps for you!

Bear your bump looks amazing! I hope the oil I am using makes my bump look that good!

Hello rosebud!!!!!!

Afm, have had two appts where I have heard heartbeats with Doppler (one only 10 days ago) but still getting v anxious about anomaly scan. It doesn't help that people keep asking if I have felt the babies move yet... maybe a flutter but maybe it's gas?! Eight more sleeps and we will be in the scan... can't wait x

Bear2014 · 23/01/2017 09:50

Yay exciting times! Hope everyones' coughs are feeling better. We're a house full of snot bags at the moment but I think my pregnancy vitamins and lack of boozing is making me fare better.

I got in SUCH a mood this morning. There's an old name in my family (the name of a great aunt who died as a teenager) that I've always quite fancied using as a middle name. We didn't use it for DD as we used a family name as her first name. Now, OH's ex SIL who her entire family hates as she tries to keep OH's nephew from them has just used it as the middle name for her new baby. I'm so gutted! I know there's a 50% chance this baby is a boy but there's no way we can use it now. Grrrrrrrr. I hate people Sad

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 09:56

We are all ok countdown!!! Haha! Elles isn't it too early for you to feel movement yet? It might be a bit so I really wouldn't worry. Everything is going well so far so it's all looking good!

Aw Bear how annoying!!!! Maybe it's a sign that this one is a boy.....can't wait for you to find out! xxx

Maybe so! Once we get past the big 12, touch wood, I'll be really keen to know, we might go for a gender scan at 16 weeks as Kings do a 22 week scan and that seems a long time to wait.

I first felt DD move at about 19 weeks I think, as I was just about feeling her in the 20 week scan. IMO most people who claim to feel movement really early have gas ;o)

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 10:13

Oh yes have a gender scan - I can't wait that long for you either! And any excuse to see baby again. My cough is SO annoying. It's gone less chesty and phlegmy and more dry although still a bit phlegmy but it's just so annoying! Was up a couple of times in the night. Just want it gone!!!

Haha I can't wait to feel the babies move!! Got a while for that though! They did say I might feel them earlier as there's two but given I don't know what I'm looking for I doubt it! xx

I think it's pretty much down to the position of the baby/babies in relation to your anatomy, and the placenta/placentas, which form a big cushion and some are bigger than others. That and being able to differentiate your bowels from babies! They'll be beating you senseless 24/7 before you know it and jabbing you right in the bladder, then you'll know about it!

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 10:21

Haha! Just can't imagine it!! Must be an amazing feeling!! I'll be on cyclogest whole time so I'll put any early "movements" down to wind until I'm sure haha!!

OP posts:
ellesbellesxxx · 23/01/2017 10:24

Hahaha! Well there is enough gas for sure Grin

Blueroses99 · 23/01/2017 13:00

I'm also counting down to tomorrow, got my 12 week scan at 12+1! I've also got my pre-assessment for the cervical stitch surgery and booked in for counselling following my recent anxiety (although that was pretty much all their fault given the MW gave me the wrong info!). Think I'll be at the hospital for most of the day including waiting time...!

Bear no one owns a name, as I keep reading on the MN baby names threads, it doesn't have to mean you can't use the name at all, esp as a middle name. You might get comfortable with it.

In my last pregnancy I had a kick at 19+5 - no mistaking it at all. But then sadly I didn't feel anything more before he arrived at 21+3.

Sorry I know I've missed a few messages as I'm on my phone but will catch up later.

Bear2014 · 23/01/2017 13:07

Blue - aargh how exciting! It really is Action Week this week. Will be thinking of you.

I know no one owns a name, but things like that do taint names. Like if you're a teacher and you teach a really naughty kid with a certain name! Plenty of time to figure it out if we are lucky enough to get to the naming part! xx

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 13:39

Eeek big day for you Blue! Hope it goes well and you can give that mean midwife the elbow for good! I'll be sending positive vibes through the hospital walls for you! xxx

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 23/01/2017 14:45

bear you can still use the name, if you have a girl, as others have said noone owns a name.
When I had DD everyone kept putting me off names!

In regards to movement I'm sure DD was around 16 weeks when she started, I so hope it'd around that time again.

I'm struggling with the bowels today! I have announced to DP it has now been 3 days since my last poo! It's giving me stomach ache but I definitely know it's that and not something else thank fully.

Best of luck tomorrow blue

eastegg · 23/01/2017 16:49

Good luck blue and lolly for tomorrow! Hope it all goes really well.

Mrscrabtree · 23/01/2017 17:53

Hi girls, thanks for thinking of me. To be honest I am feeling really low. Still bleeding although not heavily, and still having cramps. I know it could be nothing but I just have a bad feeling about it and am just expecting bad news on Wednesday evening. Sorry to be on such a downer.

Keeping my fingers crossed for those of you with exciting scans tomorrow Blue and Lolly! I'm so glad everything seems to be going well 👍🏼 Xx

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 18:12

Aw MrsCrab you poor thing I didn't realise I'm so sorry. Argh you must be going out of your mind. That's good it's not heavy, is it painful cramps or bearable? Is it worth going to get checked out tomorrow? Thinking of you and hoping everything is ok. xxxxx

OP posts:
Mrscrabtree · 23/01/2017 18:28

Thanks Lolly. It's not heavy or excessively painful just enough to be worrying. I thought about going to the EPU again but to be honest I feel like I cant justify more time away from work and I suppose the outcome won't change if I go tomorrow or wait til Wednesday. I really hope I'm just being dramatic but of course I am going a bit mad xx

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 18:41

How often are you filling a pad? I ask as when I had my bleed they told me to come back if I was filling a pad in an hour and had severe cramps.
It sounds like it's nothing sinister and just more of a worry. I'm sure if it was going to go wrong it would be picking up the pace in terms of bleeding and cramping. I don't know for certain of course but just a thought. What time is your scan on Weds? xxx

So sorry mrscrab - it's so terrifying o not know what is going on. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Blue and Lolly massive good luck for tomorrow xx

Mrscrabtree · 23/01/2017 19:59

Thanks lolly and bear. I'm only changing liners a few times a day so it's really not heavy. I've just noticed a few clots (sorry tmi) so im trying to hope that it's the remains of the SCH they diagnosed me with 2 weeks ago. I think it's the cramps that bother me more than anything. I don't know. I've been indulging in dr google again (I know!) which of course makes me think the worst. I will try to take your reassurance and hope for the best. It's at 5pm xx

Don't let me dampen everyone else's excitement! Xx

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 20:23

It could well be the SCH MrsCrab and especially if it's just liners only a few times a day. Try not to worry yet although I know that's impossible. Wishing time away for you till Weds.
We are here for each other, good or bad so don't say things like that. Sending you a big hug xxx

OP posts:
Bear2014 · 23/01/2017 21:48

Mrscrab if you have a known sch at least there's a potentially non sinister reason for it. Also i have had more cramps in my successful pregs than my non-successful one so I wouldn't worry unduly about that either xx

Mrscrabtree · 23/01/2017 21:58

Thank you lolly and bear, I am listening to you and what you are saying is sensible. That's good to know about your cramps Bear. And lolly that's so sweet of you to say we are here for each other, that brought a tear to my eye, thank you xxx

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 22:04

Just echoing Bear on the cramps. I mean this is my only pregnancy but I've had loads of twinges and cramps and weird sensations - all normal so far.

It's more than likely nothing so hang on in there. Only two more sleeps. We'll try and keep you sane until then xxx

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 23/01/2017 22:18

mrscrabb I'm sure everything will be fine. Cramps are part and parcel of pregnancy unfortunately and I'm pretty sure there just to keep us on our toes Brew

Thinking of those of you having scans in the next few days, bring us good news.

lolly hope you and DP have a nice afternoon together tomorrow.
