Hi ladies! Starting a new thread for those of us who have spent a while on the infertility board while going trough various treatments and are technically pregnant but too scared to join a pregnancy thread! Smile

Well actually I already cant fit into any of my jeans or bras! The midwife did say I'd show earlier and I'd say in the last week it's really popped out! I'm going to be a whale I think!

Counting down the sleeps until Tuesday!

I'm having the same problem here with clothes, mostly with underwear. Once I've had my scan I'm off to buy new pants! 8 days and counting. Luckily as I'm off work currently I can wear pj's bottoms!

I've had a terrible night of bad dreams so today I'm shattered, it's strange because it's like my body knows I need reassurance at time because today I have been very sick.

Mrscrabtree · 22/01/2017 12:09

Im struggling with jeans too but I think it must just be bloating or eating too much!

Had a bit more bleeding yesterday evening and cramps all night, feeling unwell too so now am worried again. Next scan on Wednesday, can't come soon enough...Confused

Lolly2803 · 22/01/2017 13:05

MrsCrab hope you're ok. Is it a lot of bleeding? Is it red? It was fine last time so I'm sure it's fine now but I know it's scary. Weds will soon be here and hopefully it'll put your mind at rest.
I've been eating loads and def put a bit on all over, don't like it! Need to make sure it doesn't get out of control although my appetite does seem to be reducing a bit now!

Mistletoe I bought some new pants yesterday! And a couple of tops. Can't wait for a proper bump just so I'm not in the awkward stage of not maternity but not usual size! It's annoying! xxx

mistletoeprickles · 22/01/2017 14:34

lolly I've found the same with my appetite reducing slowly. If I saw it I ate it.

Mrscrabb I hope your ok and the baby.

I'm reluctant to buy anything clothing wise until the scan. I have some maternity tops from when I had DD but I haven't got them out yet. It seems to be a waist thickening. Leggings are my friend currently but I'm finding them too tight!

Bear2014 · 22/01/2017 15:54

Hi ladies Mrscrabb oh yikes I hope you are ok. No wonder you are impatient for the scan.

I think I've pretty much been the same size since about 6 weeks. Even though I've always been able to feel the actual pregnancy, I think all my bulk is bloat. It will probably pop out a bit in the next few weeks, as the bloat reduces as I come off progesterone etc next week.

11 weeks today! Very very impatient for 'the big 12', 2 weeks and 2 days. Predictably getting all anxious again. I'm the most annoying person in the world to live with right now...

Mrscrabtree · 22/01/2017 16:08

Thanks ladies, it's not been loads but enough to make me feel nervous. I keep trying to remind myself that what will be will be but it's so hard!

Hope you're all alright x

Lolly2803 · 22/01/2017 16:17

It's so hard MrsCrab. I'm sure all is fine though. You've not got long to wait so wishing time away for you!

Bear that's exciting, love a count down! What will your date be at 'the big 12'. I keep saying "our 12 weeks scan" to DH and he keeps asking why it's called that when we are having ours at 13+3....I have no answer!
Only 2 sleeps for me...eeekkk!!! Can't believe it's almost here.

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 22/01/2017 16:53

I am jealous of all the 2/3 day count downs.

8 sleeps for me but I have a busy week ahead so will fly (hopefully). My 'big 12' will be on exactly 12 weeks.

I'm feeling shit today..I'm very tired and I've got pulling pains going on but nothing too bad, if I could just lay down I would!

bear I think the cyclocest is making me huge too. It'll be decided next week about wearing off it and I'm kind.of hoping my belly stays. With DD I had a true bump by 16 weeks so I am hoping for the same again

Lolly2803 · 22/01/2017 17:16

Eeek still exciting mistletoe! I think mine is a bit of bloating too. I've just ordered some maternity pjs as I have one pair that fit and they are in the wash!!

Just want to get tomorrow out the way! DH and I have the day off on Tuesday too so we are going to make a day of the scan (although I'll be in there a while apparently). I'm so excited it feels like Christmas! xxx

OP posts:
Bear2014 · 22/01/2017 18:18

I'll be 12+2 so pretty spot on.

I want a proper bump! I loved it last time, until about 36 weeks when it became a bit too extreme to live with Grin

Bear2014 · 22/01/2017 18:21

Aaargh i've just found this on my phone taken the night before my section. Maybe i'll be careful what i wish for ShockShockShock

Not a single stretch mark in sight bear I look like a bloody road map!

According to DP'S fruit based chart the baby will be the size of a lime tomorrow (11 weeks). He likes the fruit based one because it's very comparable Grin

Bear2014 · 22/01/2017 18:50

I got off pretty light there it's true. Shame about the belly 'shelf' - lol. Oh well it's all worth it! I like the fruit thing too Grin

Lolly2803 · 22/01/2017 19:08

Bear that's a gorgeous bump!! I've been slathering on the bio oil for about 2 weeks now and intend to keep it up!!
I have the fruit thing too!! It's funny!!

Just want my cough to sod off now and I'll be feeling great! (Aside from queasiness of course) xxxx

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 22/01/2017 19:27

If DD had been on time I wouldn't of had a mark but she decided she wasn't ready!

Bear2014 · 22/01/2017 19:51

Oh wow were you really overdue then Mistletoe? I was 39+4, was totally climbing the walls as i was admitted to hospital at 38 weeks. DD was in an unstable oblique (transverse) position and the shiny bit you can see on my bump about 6 inches and to the right above my belly button is her big head sticking out. She was 9lb 3 so i was glad in the end I didn't have to push her out.

Lolly - yep slather away! It can't hurt xx

mistletoeprickles · 22/01/2017 20:20

Yes bear she was born naturally on her induction date (no induction required!) And was 8lb 9 oz.
Will you have a csection again?

Lolly2803 · 22/01/2017 20:37

Lovely hearing all your stories ladies. Such great baby weights too, they must have been super snug and content in there!

I'm being a total muppet and worrying about my cough. I've been coughing so much this past week I'm worried it'll dislodge the babies or something. I'm assuming that's impossible and it's me being a total muppet but well I can't not worry about something!!

OP posts:
Bear2014 · 23/01/2017 07:03

Hi Lolly I've had some bad coughs when pregnant and it does hurt your ligaments a bit but don't worry about the babies. If falling down stairs doesn't hurt them...

Mistletoe yes I think i'll have another section. I would love a water birth but i'm not allowed now, and I'm conscious of hedging my bets to avoid instrumental delivery or emergency section xx

mistletoeprickles · 23/01/2017 07:32

I'm not sure whether vapour rub is allowed but apparently a big dollop on the soles of your feet then putting socks on works wonders

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 07:50

I'll try that mistletoe! I'd been putting it on my back which helped. But I'll try the feet thing today.
One more sleep till my scan!!!

OP posts:
mistletoeprickles · 23/01/2017 08:03

I use it on DD so there's no reason why it wouldn't work on an adult.

I'm so jealous! What time is it tomorrow?

I'm very achy this morning but I have the starts of a cold so I don't know if that's contributing to it. Could well just be a bit of aniexty now the scan is getting closer (week today). Woke up with sore boobs and was very sick so everything has to be fine right?

I just want to get to the point of feeling movement so I know whether everything was ok. I swear when I had DD she punished me for the amount of times I poked her to make her move so I knew all was ok. Grin

Lolly2803 · 23/01/2017 08:19

I honestly felt like crying this morning. I never thought we'd get this far. Can't believe it and I just feel so lucky. It's at 11.45 and DH and I have a nice day together planned. I can't wait. Assuming all is ok of course - argh I so hope it is still!

I'd say the achyness is normal and also most likely nerves and a bit of the cold too. I had a cold over Christmas and was really achey so don't worry. And yes feeling sick is a good sign! I mean if you don't have sickness that's not a bad sign but having it can only be good...if that makes sense!

I'd say try and relax but who am I kidding?! I know how it feels and it's torture! xxxx

OP posts:
Bear2014 · 23/01/2017 09:00

I hope Vicks is safe for us as DD is slathered in it a lot of the time and ends up in our bed most nights.

One more sleep Lolly!! I'm so jealous, 8 for me so the insanity will have defo set in again by then Wink

Hope you're ok misscrab xx
