Just that really. I'm 35+1 now and feel seriously huge, and I keep bumping into things. Everything feels like a bloody effort. I have a 2 year old DD who I am exhausted by as she has limitless energy. And I have to pee approximately 8000 times a day.

Part of me just wants this to be over now, but then I also am freaked out about having to cope with a toddler and a newborn, so another part of me just wants this baby to stay a bump for as long as possible.

There must be some other ladies out there in the late pregnancy stage who would like to pull up a chair and have a moan with me? Maybe whilst eating Cake ?

Well done! How are you feeling?
I had my second tablet inserted around 6
and the pain got really bad coming and going but not sure if they were contractions or prostin pains but they were showing up on the monitor. I was in pain until around 12 midnight then had to ask for some co-codamol I couldn't bare it anymore.
Then I started leaking a clear fluid after and my undies were soaked through so I put a pad on hoping it's my waters will find out in the morning.
Just woken up now thinking it was breakfast time but unfortunately not!
My best friend is in my bed with me which is nice of them to let her stay but dreading being alone tomorrow night.
Going to try get some more sleep now ready to do this all over again in a few hours.
Keep me updated xxxxx

Gabby786 · 30/11/2016 07:52

Oh girls it's gonna happen for you in the next day or so!!!! This is exciting!!! And I do think that's your waters because mine went like that. Proper soaked through and kept coming through for like at least 2 hours.

Sophieeleanorxx · 30/11/2016 08:34

I really hope so Sad Been so teary this morning can't stop crying. Feel like I'm going to be here forever! Didn't realise how depressing these wards are. Being examined at 12 again so they will see if they can break my waters or whether il need another tablet again. Hearing these ladies going into labour in the middle of night has traumatised me lol! Xx

KitKat1985 · 30/11/2016 18:17

I'm feeling miserable just had my fourth tablet inserted now I'm emotionally and physically exhausted, two people have came on this ward after me and gone and had there babies. Nothing's happening apparently they will discuss with me tomorrow what I want to do xx

AyeAmarok · 30/11/2016 23:47

Ach Sophie that's awful. You must be physically and emotionally exhausted.

What do you think you'd rather do? Wait a few more days at home and see if it happens naturally, or ask for a section?

thinking of you

Sophieeleanorxx · 01/12/2016 05:58

Things have chased I'm currently sat in wet undies my waters just popped about 20 mins ago. Midwifes have just changed my bedding and cleaned the floor up.
So he will be here soon! Xx

Sophieeleanorxx · 01/12/2016 06:15

*changed I mean

Zumbumba · 01/12/2016 06:27

That's wonderful news Sophie. I've just had the prostin gel after the pessary didn't have any effect. I'm scared of this induction lasting for days/not working.

Seen about 7 women come and go already...

Cococrumble · 01/12/2016 11:41

Ooh Sophie I hope baby is here by now!

SEVEN women Zumba?! That's just cruel!

Baby crumble arrived last night in a fairly traumatic set of circumstances. Shes in special care but she's absolutely amazing!

KitKat1985 · 01/12/2016 11:50

Oh congratulations Crumble! I hope she's well enough to come out of SCBU soon. xx

I hope you have your baby by now Sophie. x

Zumbumba - 7 women. That must be so frustrating!

Morning ladies X
Congrats coco mine was also traumatic
Baby got stuck at 9cm he was coming down side ways so they had to give me a csection. Epidural wasn't working so I could still feel everything. They ended up putting me to sleep under local anaesthetic.
When I woke up I didn't even know I had him lol! He's on special care baby unit now he took his breathing tube out himself so is breathing on his own now.
They wheeled me down in my bed earlier end I just love him so much already.
Xx

Gabby786 · 02/12/2016 10:20

Oh gosh that does sound traumatic! But at least your baby is finally here! Big congratulations. Do you have a weight and name yet?

ChocolateBudgeCake · 03/12/2016 03:52

Sophieeleanorxx · 03/12/2016 05:20

Thank you he is so goregous he is still in the special care unit. When my mum comes to visit she wheels me down to see him as I can't walk. I'm so emotional I cry every time I have to leave him it's so hard Sad but I know this won't last forever and we will be home by next week.

Thank you girls he is fine
I had to leave him at the hospital yesterday which was awful but I was getting a bit depressed on that ward and the food was revolting.
So he is still in SCBU they have stopped his fluids and antibiotics now so no more drips! there just trying to get his feeds up before he comes home. I'm pumping breast milk like a mad women everyday and bringing them in to him and breast feeding when I get there. It's the only thing I can do for him at the moment so I'm focusing on that and looking forward to him coming home fingers crossed this week.

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your babies xxx

My daughter arrived this evening after four days of contractions ended in a c section as my cervix was stuck at 5cm and she was getting distressed.
