Just that really. I'm 35+1 now and feel seriously huge, and I keep bumping into things. Everything feels like a bloody effort. I have a 2 year old DD who I am exhausted by as she has limitless energy. And I have to pee approximately 8000 times a day.

Part of me just wants this to be over now, but then I also am freaked out about having to cope with a toddler and a newborn, so another part of me just wants this baby to stay a bump for as long as possible.

There must be some other ladies out there in the late pregnancy stage who would like to pull up a chair and have a moan with me? Maybe whilst eating Cake ?

Things are moving for me. Bloody show and I think a slow leak of waters (can't be sure!). Had mild contractions since 3am although they've eased off since I got up and moving about.

So moving in the right direction... slowly!

Beachmum85 · 21/11/2016 09:23

Weyhey chocolate and coco! Looking forward to hearing more news! X

Cococrumble · 21/11/2016 09:44

Woohoo chocolate! Got everything crossed for you!

ChocolateBudgeCake · 21/11/2016 22:03

Nope nothing Angry

Contractions stopped at 11am.

Still getting a bloody show so labour can't be too far away but that's it. It was a false alarm and I fell for it!!

Gutted.

AyeAmarok · 21/11/2016 22:08

Hard luck Chocolate. Welcome back into the miserable fold!

I am so beyond fed up now. 41+3, two hours and it's +4.

Cococrumble · 21/11/2016 22:13

Welcome back to the bench chocolate Sad

One week until induction day.. I might just give up now and stay in bed until then.

gummybearwotsit · 22/11/2016 02:56

Hi all.

Hope everyone is ok.

I'm having another night of insomnia!

Rock hard stomach with a bizarre feeling of something in between a stitch, period pain and constipation (I'm not!) ... uncomfortable enough to wake me up but not pain as such.

Fed up lol xx

Sophieeleanorxx · 22/11/2016 05:28

Poor you gummybear! i had cramping last night and backache I was so sure this is the start of something but turned out to be nothing, must of been because I cleaned the house from top to bottom.

I've woken up to go the toilet and now I can't get back to sleep! I have my sweep today and have kind of pinned my hopes on it working when really I know it's only a 50/50 chance Sad

Hope everyone is doing ok and holding out I won't bother saying "not long left now" because I want to punch everyone who says that to me. Smile

Beachmum85 · 22/11/2016 08:53

Same here Sophie but it lasted for about an hour then fizzled out (could've been the Tesco trip yest pm!).

Spent the rest of the night being kicked in the back by 3yo DDConfused and ended up with zero sleep so now I can add 'knackered' to the list of moans...

Oh, and now the messages of 'thinking of you' are coming in thick and fast (AKA 'is the baby here yet?') Wink

ChocolateBudgeCake · 22/11/2016 11:36

I'm off the bench!

Contractions ramped up at 12pm last night, went to the hospital and they immediately calmed down! 1cm dilated!!!!! 1 frickin cm!!! So obviously was sent home feeling very silly and sorry for myself.

However contractions ramped up at home and an hour later my waters went and I had the urge to push! DH practically had to carry me back to the car.

Within 2 minutes of getting onto the hospital bed DD was born! She was nearly a car park delivery!

No pain relief as no time but was surprised how little the final stage hurt.

Good luck to all still waiting. Thanks for keeping me company. I'll keep popping in till we're all past the post.

Sophieeleanorxx · 22/11/2016 11:43

Aww that made me tear up! Congrats chocolate i hope my labour is as fast as yours.
Xx

Gabby786 · 22/11/2016 13:11

Chocolate congrats!!!! My birth story is so similar. I went from 3 to 10 cm in less than an hour. I almost had her in the lift! As soon as I was in the birthing centre she flew out lmao. How much did baby weigh? Any name yet?

Cococrumble · 22/11/2016 14:01

Wahoo well done chocolate!!

Hope everyone else is ok Smile had my second sweep today but really don't think it's going to work! Because I've had reduced movements in this pregnancy the consultant has said that if they reduce again they'll induce me immediately instead of waiting until 40+12. Should not have mentioned this to DM because she now seems to think I can pop up to the maternity unit and request induction on demand Hmm and is now trying to convince us to tell "just a little white lie". Questionable morals there mum!

Beachmum85 · 22/11/2016 14:12

Amazing news Chocolate!!!! Congratulations Flowers

Sophieeleanorxx · 22/11/2016 14:42

Hahaha Coco im so desperate to get him out id be telling the little white lie! I've just got back and my midwife couldn't even do the sweep because she couldn't reachSad
So it's official he's not coming out now.
I Started to cry on the way home because I was hoping this would be the end of the pain but apparently not.
Also I don't have a clue how I'm going to survive labour as that sweep was bloody awful!
Here's to being pregnant foreverWine

livelyredjellybean · 22/11/2016 14:54

Had my 38 week midwife appointment today and was told my baby isn't even partially engaged yet, her head is totally free! Sad Any other first time mums to be had an unengaged baby at this stage!?

gummybearwotsit · 22/11/2016 15:15

Yeyyyy!!! Congrats Chocolate!! :) :) :)

AyeAmarok · 22/11/2016 15:18

Congratulations Chocolate!

lively I was in the same position at 38 weeks. Now hurtling towards 42 weeks...

Midwife did say head can engage suddenly and quite quickly, it just didn't happen for me.

Cococrumble · 22/11/2016 17:05

My midwife said the same as ayes hopefully these little monsters get a move on soon! Smile

Beachmum85 · 23/11/2016 11:19

Oh no! Just saw midwife who suspects baby has turned! Shock

Booked in for scan tomo first thing. Don't come today baby! Arghhhhh.... I think I've got a naughty one this time... won't do as he/she is told (bit like mummy!Grin)

Nuttypops · 23/11/2016 13:45

Lively, I was the same with with my previous pregnancy, baby wasn't engaged at 38 weeks at all. She engaged the next week and DD arrived at 40+3 without any sweeps etc, so they can engage quite quickly. Hopefully it happens soon for you.

Cococrumble · 24/11/2016 00:15

Good luck with the scan tomorrow beach!

I'm still on the bench and monumentally miserable. It's not possible to request they move my induction date sooner is it Sad I'm so worn out and tired my poor pelvis can't take anymore. I take my hat off to those of you who have SPD!!

Bumplovin · 24/11/2016 01:09

Just found this thread, im 37 weeks today absolutey can't wait to meet my baby but also absolutey fed up of pregnancy, spd, hernia, split tummy muscles, gestational diabetes and I just want to meet my baby now... I can't moan to anyone one in real life as they all just seem to say how wonderful pregnancy is which don't get me wrong it is and I love my bump im just tired and sore.

Ebbenmeowgi · 24/11/2016 01:52

Hi Bump, I'm exactly a week ahead of you being 38 weeks today. Am wide awake with bloody reflux, again!! Think my blood type is turning into Gaviscon, haha. Hope all is well with everyone.

happydays00 · 24/11/2016 05:50

Had a sweep yesterday which confirmed I was 2cm dilated (first baby) and then had about 7 hours of contractions 8 minutes apart which then fizzled out and stopped HmmAngry

Have got period cramps still this morning but where have the contractions gone?! I feel so frustrated!
