Just that really. I'm 35+1 now and feel seriously huge, and I keep bumping into things. Everything feels like a bloody effort. I have a 2 year old DD who I am exhausted by as she has limitless energy. And I have to pee approximately 8000 times a day.

Part of me just wants this to be over now, but then I also am freaked out about having to cope with a toddler and a newborn, so another part of me just wants this baby to stay a bump for as long as possible.

There must be some other ladies out there in the late pregnancy stage who would like to pull up a chair and have a moan with me? Maybe whilst eating Cake ?

Posted too soon! Feeling a bit sorry for DP today....he woke me up in the middle of the night for a bit of sex, which at the moment is more about the end result than the quality, but am happy that we're still both involved in it and he hasn't taken to flying solo! Afterwards I got up, went into the bathroom and was sick!! Confused I didn't know acid reflux could be this horrendous.

Oh and yesterday someone said 'are you sure there's only one baby in there?' HmmAngry

Beachmum85 · 13/11/2016 10:53

Ok - I'm hopping on board! I'm 38+1 and no signs, but I'm not expecting much yet as DD1 was 40+5 in the end Confused

Getting so many 'huge' comments which drive me mad, but the one that takes the biscuit is...

DH actually asked me when my due date was last night... I didn't know whether to laugh or cry at that one! AngryGrinHmm

Beachmum85 · 14/11/2016 13:19

Is anybody still here? Feeling crampy and very low energy today (especially for playing shops with poor DD!)... need to take solace in others' experiences (AKA misery) Smile

ChocolateBudgeCake · 14/11/2016 14:15

Hi BeachMum I'm here and feeling like I'll always be here! My baby has to come out eventually right?

I'm also very crampy, lots of BH and cervix/period like pain. My hips and back hurt so much!! Plus I weighed myself today and could've cried! I'm a stone heavier than I wanted to be 😭😭

I'm struggling to breathe and keep getting weird dizzy and slight heart palpitations. I feel like my organs are struggling to sustain the great hulk I have become.

I'm not sleeping at night and just feel exhausted.

Driving hurts my hips.

I did however have a Greggs sausage roll and a doughnut for lunch probably shouldn't have been so surprised by the scales this morning

MrsRaymondReddington · 14/11/2016 15:31

I'm here! Been horizontal most of the day as every time I stand up I feel so sick. I'm not eating that much and as a result, baby is using up all my energy. The acid reflux is beyond ridiculous.

I'm half a stone over what I had hoped to be at this stage, so I celebrated with a bag of flapjacks! Grin

I've got lots of sympathy for anyone else struggling. The end result will be so worth it though!

Sophieeleanorxx · 14/11/2016 16:46

I'm still here! 39 weeks now and very very fed up. Nothing going on over here unfortunately no cramping no braxton hicks nothing although I keep having horrible breath taking shooting pains up my vag!! I'm starting to think he will never come out and I will probably end up having that sweep next week Angry treated my self to a new coat from Zara that cheered me up although I can't bloody zip it up because of this gigantic bump in the way.

Ian0808 · 14/11/2016 16:55

Well we are now 41 + 5!! Been in hospital this afternoon to be induced, they gave us the pessary then monitored for an hour before sending us home. Has anyone else been sent home after having this? Need to go back tomorrow afternoon unless something happens before then!

Cococrumble · 14/11/2016 17:01

Still here too 39+6 :( not so much as a twinge and my bump is still really high. Think the baby has just decided to move in permanently as NOTHING I do is encouraging them in the slightest. I may aswell superglue that stupid birthing ball to my arse!!

Do you have to wait until 40+12 for an induction or will someone take mercy?

mum2Bomg · 14/11/2016 17:03

Yes please! I'm in! Just eaten three chocolate club biscuits. Trying to decide what else to eat. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow...

mum2Bomg · 14/11/2016 17:05

Peeing all the time. Going through loo roll at a rate of knots and getting dry hands because of all the hand washing. Joyous!

Ian0808 · 14/11/2016 17:12

The policy in our area is to induce at 12 days late, also had 2 sweeps which did nothing. Not sure if you have to wait until + 12 as we never asked

AyeAmarok · 14/11/2016 17:16

I'm still here too!

40+3. So uncomfortable, my pelvis makes the most horrible crunching noise when I stand up.

Coco I think different health boards do it different ways. Mine will only induce at 40+13.

Beachmum85 · 14/11/2016 18:58

ChocolateBudge and Mrs Raymond I can't believe you've weighed yourselves! I haven't dared go near any scales for at least 6 months Shock.

Any crampy feeling has just made way to total exhaustion for me now (and horrific wind/ dodgy belly).

Saw the (useless) midwife today who was absolutely riddled with lurgy (cough/flu-type thing). Great! A hot stuffy room filled with germs FROM MY OWN MIDWIFE! Yippee...

Oh, and baby seems in a very skewed position - with a foot sticking out to the left and back on the right Sad

Beachmum85 · 15/11/2016 03:16

Okay, it's 03:15 and I've been violently sick several times (and the other end). Could this be the start? Or the dreaded norovirus? EnvySadConfusedSadSad

ChocolateBudgeCake · 15/11/2016 07:10

Any progress beachmum?

I'm feeling really low. Feel 'unwell' but not really able to put my finger on why. I just feel generally knackered and crap.

Ian0808 · 15/11/2016 07:32

Possible movement here. 41 + 6 today, had pessary yesterday at 3pm, sent home at 4. Had nothing all night then mild pains at 4am. Getting worse now, triage have advised to hold off on going in for now!

ChocolateBudgeCake · 15/11/2016 07:39

How exciting ian got my fingers crossed for you.

Just found out a close friend is expecting so I'm feeling much brighter now! My state of mind is all over the flippin place!

Beachmum85 · 15/11/2016 07:48

Nothing apart from more runs (sorry TMI!!). Feel pretty miserable after getting no sleep and just feel crampy, dehydrated and rubbish Sad. Hope this isn't it, as I now have zero energy.

Nuttypops · 15/11/2016 09:08

Still here, 37+2 so a few weeks behind some of you but I have still had enough! DH has stayed home to take DD to nursery this morning thank goodness so I have gone back to bed. Consultant app this afternoon so will ask about induction/sweeps etc then as I am not sure I can have either if I go overdue for risk of the same complications as I had with DD. Really hoping this one won't be in there longer than 40 weeks though.

Fingers crossed something is on the move ian, best of luck!

KitKat1985 · 15/11/2016 15:54

Just to say I am still lurking here. Sorry so many of you ladies are still stuck waiting in misery, although your symptoms sound hopeful Ian0808. Surely given that you are 41+6 this has to be the start of something for you? x

Cococrumble · 15/11/2016 19:08

Chocolatebudge - me too! Absolutely shattered and feeling crappy. Saw my midwife today and they've already booked my induction for 12 days time, so don't think they've got much faith in the baby making an appearance either Sad can't face the prospect of another 12 days feeling this rubbish!

Is anyone else getting absolutely hounded by people asking if the baby has arrived yet? I wish we had told people a fake due date now! I've stopped responding to them (today's my due date ffs) but then I'm getting repeat messages of "omg you're in labour!! Haven't heard from you!!" One friend is texting me three times a day! I think people are more excited than me at the moment! and don't get me started on people telling me to hurry up or telling me which days work best for them for me to give birth on as if I give a shit Angry

Sorry for the rant!!

AyeAmarok · 15/11/2016 19:20

Yep Coco, the messages are really bugging me too.

In fact, I might find a picture of a newborn on t'internet and start sending it to people who ask "any sign of the baby", saying "oh yes mum, sorry, I forgot to tell you! Baby's here!"

Grin
Ian0808 · 15/11/2016 23:18

Well that was an eventful day!! We eventually went in to hospital about 11 am as the contractions were getting painful. They hooked us up to heartbeat monitor and baby heartbeat was constantly fast. We got moved straight into a different department where a consultant saw us straight away. Next thing we know we are being whisked into theatre for an emergency C Section.

Felicity Ava born 12:48pm 6lb 12oz. Mother and baby both now doing well! Apparently the cord was around her neck. What a stressful day and I was only watching it all!!

Massive Congrats! She's so beautiful x

KitKat1985 · 16/11/2016 08:30

Wow what a day Ian0808. Congratulations on her arrival though. Smile Hope you recover from the emergency C-section quickly. x
