Just that really. I'm 35+1 now and feel seriously huge, and I keep bumping into things. Everything feels like a bloody effort. I have a 2 year old DD who I am exhausted by as she has limitless energy. And I have to pee approximately 8000 times a day.

Part of me just wants this to be over now, but then I also am freaked out about having to cope with a toddler and a newborn, so another part of me just wants this baby to stay a bump for as long as possible.

There must be some other ladies out there in the late pregnancy stage who would like to pull up a chair and have a moan with me? Maybe whilst eating Cake ?

40+2 with some kind of throat lurgy, so was awake coughing and spluttering all night - when I wasn't choking back reflux, going to the loo and shifting around due to hip and leg pain of course. Thoroughly cheesed off now. Had a sweep yesterday and worried I'm feeling so crap I won't be able to push a baby out that's approx 9lbs. Sad

Beachmum85 · 24/11/2016 11:26

Thanks coco.

It's looking like a section for me coz naughty baby is bottom down Confused. Waiting for a slot... eek!

Cococrumble · 24/11/2016 11:32

Beachmum85 · 24/11/2016 13:58

happydays00 · 24/11/2016 15:04

Oh beach congratulations, how exciting!!

Cococrumble · 24/11/2016 16:07

Oh my gosh beach it must feel like Christmas Eve!

Beachmum85 · 25/11/2016 04:45

Kind of... a mix of xmas eve and the night before an exam or something!

I've been awake since 1:10 and now having a cup of tea and willing the morning to come quickly so I don't have to wait much longer. I'm so worried about baby turning again and being sent home! SadConfusedShockBrew

Beachmum85 · 26/11/2016 00:06

It's a boy!! Waited all day for section, but he was finally born at 17:45 and is completely awesome!

Good luck all ladies still waiting WinkStar

Hang in there! Xx

Hey - I came back onto mumsnet just now seeking solace after a miscarriage last week and was initially 'whaaattt??!!' seeing this topic!! However, reading it I totally identify with Kitkat1985 . Heavily pregnant with my last successful baby I was uncomfortable and bloody moody even though I knew I should be smily and happy! And I too had a toddler! They are now beautiful girls of 7 and 5yrs. Hormones are totally unreasonable, unkind and overwhelming so give yourself a break!!

Cococrumble · 26/11/2016 08:26

Beachmum congratulations! Enjoy your awesome little bundle!

Still no movement here - baby crumble seems desperate to be a December baby!

Nuttypops · 26/11/2016 18:49

Congratulations Beach! That is wonderful news. I hope you are feeling ok.

Wondering if something is starting to happen here. Back pain and niggly period type pain all day which is what I had at the start of labour with DD. 38+6 today.

KitKat1985 · 26/11/2016 22:21

Congratulations Beach! xxx

Congratulations Beach!

Any progress Nutty?

I'm enjoying all the joys that not being pregnant brings. Like putting pants and socks on without grunting and straining!

Nuttypops · 27/11/2016 14:45

No, false alarm from me sadly Chocolate. I was very hopeful but it all eased off by this morning.

Oh to bend over and put socks on yourself again, and move without grunting!

Sophieeleanorxx · 27/11/2016 16:45

Haven't commented in a while but have been checking daily! Just got back from the hospital they are inducing me on Tuesday I will be 41 weeks then. I all of a sudden don't feel ready and I'm dreading it! 😔 Xx

Cococrumble · 27/11/2016 20:44

Sophie we have the same induction date!

I'm dreading it too, my consultant told me it can take up to five days to get going and the thought of being sat in a stuffy ward for that long is seriously getting me down Sad I'm hoping the baby makes a last minute entrance tomorrow but I doubt it. Completely lost any optimism I had, just feeling really overwhelmed and teary.

Sorry for the massively depressing pity post!

barlyboo · 27/11/2016 23:40

First post from me, I am 41 weeks today and have absolutely no idea when this boy will decide to make an appearance. I have tried everything to help things along but nothing seems to make any difference.

I am being induced on Friday if he hasn't arrived by then but I honesty don't know how I will make it though another week.

I am so looking forward to not being pregnant anymore!

Gabby786 · 28/11/2016 16:57

Girls try and stay positive. I know it's hard but I was induced at 14 days over and my contractions started 6 hours after being induced and 4 hours after that my little diva was here so don't despair. If anything induction can be quicker.

Sophieeleanorxx · 29/11/2016 00:13

Hi Coco
Just wanted to wish you good luck! I am still absolutely dreading it. I've got to be there for 8 in the morning!
Will keep updating xx

Thanks for your post Gabby, it has kind of reassured me.

I had to come to the hospital today with reduced movements, as it was not my first time they have decided to keep me in and induce first thing in the morning...

Feeling pretty nervous as wasn't expecting this, but am happy things are moving along.

barlyboo · 29/11/2016 00:33

Oh and good luck to everyone else being induced this week

Cococrumble · 29/11/2016 06:30

Hi Sophie! Good luck to you too! I'm so so nervous :( I'm a total control freak when I'm scared so this really isn't ideal haha. Hopefully our babies follow gabbys lead! I'm due in at nine but have to call the ward first - half hoping they have no room!

Hope all is ok today barley and you managed to get some rest overnight.

Gabby786 · 29/11/2016 16:01

If the baby is at least head down and even dilated just 1cm you've got a good chance of it working because the induction is just giving the baby that nudge to get out of there lol

Cococrumble · 30/11/2016 02:54

Currently 2 centimetres and my propess came out by itself. Luckily (weird choice of words) my contractions are coming really strongly so they're going to see how I do without it.

Midwife performed and internal and a little sweep and said that the waters around the baby are bulging and they may break them for me in the morning. I hope so because the pressure is hideous!!

Come on baby crumble!!
