Hi all,
Teaspoon and bloop, that's rubbish on the sickness. I'm 22+4 and my nausea only really dialled down...a week ago maybe? I describe it as about 5-10% background noise rather than the 'kill-me-now' 100% cacophony until week 18, followed by the 70% rollercoaster over Xmas.
I sort of expect it to come back tbh, but now I can feel him, it takes the edge off in a way?
I probably won't think that when I'm laying on the bathroom floor again, watching my earnings dwindle though!
I know everyone's different but when I was really struggling to eat, I found sweet and salty popcorn helped- I think the salt and sugar helped with dehydration (when I managed to get some water down too, which was tricky). Pret or Tesco do good ones.
On the gap between scans- I have absolutely considered booking a couple of private ones in. I have zero financial grounds to do this, but I don't care!!! I've impulse bought shoes with less consideration. My 20 week midwife appointment is going to actually be at 24 weeks (30th Jan) thanks to work commitments and a waiting list so a bit of extra reassurance would be great right now.
Thought about trying to get one this week as my already low bump appears to have got even lower today? I had low backache this morning too, which sent me into a panic, naturally. I have a low lying placenta but didn't think the two were related?
Much googling later appears to suggest lots of women carry really, really low and often with boys, but I still can't get used to the feeling he's moved
