Lovely to hear from you keys!

Welcome along elderberries :)

Nothing to report here except painful trapped wind - seriously, what the hells going on down there 😂

GoulashSoup · 17/03/2016 23:30

I need a hand hold. I've had a bit of pink spotting earlier which has now got red strands in it. Finding it hard not to think the worst. Last time I began bleeding at 6+2, I'm 6 weeks today so getting through this weekend would have been a bit of a milestone. I think I will ring the EPU in the morning.

Sophia1984 · 17/03/2016 23:44

Oh that must be worrying Goulash but it can be perfectly normal. It could even be implantation bleeding. give the EPU a ring and hopefully they can reassure you Smile

keys27 · 18/03/2016 06:19

Goulash How scary hun. Thing is I know how your feeling and its so difficult to reassure you cause I know all you feel is sheer panic. Defo call EPU I really hope their helpful and understanding towards you. Really hope the little bits of blood have stopped as well. Hand holding with you hun.

dobby so lovely to hear from you it really is lovely words to. Oh wow littleman is 2 weeks already I mean time does go so fast. How are you enjoying being a new mummy again? I am still on best rest but the steroids have stopped my contractions so I am up and about my youngest DD has a hospital appointment this morning which I feel well enough to take her to and do the school run which is fantastic considering how I was last weekend I thought I was in labour. I was so tired last night I was waiting for the second part of eastenders woke up at half 10 I must of just feel asleep without even trying and that never happens to me. Must be a positive sign all is still ok with the LO.
Congratulations again hun I am so pleased everything worked out for you.

So sorry that a few of you have so much worry atm. Hand holding with you . It will be ok the first trimester is such a rollercoaster especially when youve experienced such heart ache in the past. People just dont understand sometimes. Big hugs xxxx

goulash thank you for your support, and I'm sorry that you've had some spotting to. Wishing you all the best and I hope it all settles down for you and that all is well.
I was frantically googling yesterday and it seems that it is so common to spot early on. I hope it's just that, hand holding with you.
dobby your post is so lovely and made me want to cry. Sickness has ramped up and I'm very hormonal, I don't usually cry but I'm trying not to blub on a packed train!
Fx for everyone that all remains well.

Northernlight22 · 18/03/2016 07:12

Goulash definitely give them a ring - we're all here with you x

obsessedlex · 18/03/2016 07:42

goulash thinking of you Hun.
northern high five for the painful trapped wind - help isn't it -and I stink!! We seem to be having very similar pregnancies - I'm 10+2 today - you? Xx

Northernlight22 · 18/03/2016 07:54

I'm about 10+5 - was nearly doubled up yesterday at one point with it!

GoulashSoup · 18/03/2016 08:33

Thank you for all your support it is really appreciated. I did eventually manage to get some sleep.

I have more red strands this morning. Last time I had red and clots on and off for two weeks but the fetus continued growing normally.

I have spoken to the EPU and there is not a lot they can offer me. They have said that at this stage a scan can cause more worry than reasurance, and that there is nothing they can do if I am miscarrying. They were very kind on the phone but it doesn't help me from feeling left on my own with no support.

Eastend2015 · 18/03/2016 08:51

Welcome and congratulations newbies! Glad things are settling down keys I hope it stays that way. And lovely words dobby, you give us all hope! Fingers crossed for you goulash and sorry the EPU couldn't do more.

I had a quick run into hospital last night as I was worried about reduced movements, then the little tyke woke up as soon as we got there. It did freak me out a bit though, a few women were in early labour. After being really positive I was suddenly really scared it was all over. It's my birthday today and the last two birthdays I have been in hospital either with a MMC or EP. I was so glad to escape it with better news this time!

Eastend2015 · 18/03/2016 09:37

Just told one of my colleagues about our scare last night and ended up saying I'm being really cautious after 2 previous miscarriages. I gave the usual spiel about miscarriages being very normal etc and she said "well it doesn't sound very normal to me!?" I know English is her second language which might account for the lack or sensitivity but, er, thanks?!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 18/03/2016 14:09

Sorry to hear a few of you are bleeding/spotting...unfortunately there really isn't anything you can do other than wait it out, it may be completely normal for you and your pregnancy...fingers crossed for you all Flowers x

keys how unsympathetic of your GP! You ARE doing well, keep remembering that! X

dobby lovely to hear from you! Glad you and lo are doing so well...im ok I guess, just been diagnosed with anaemia, feeling very rough/sick/tired etc...having a sweep at 37 weeks as spd is bad and he's weighing 5.5lbs already at 33 weeks! Positive fetal fibronectin test proved to be incorrect, lasted three more weeks since they said I would be going into premature labour! Had the steroids so he would be fine if he were to come any time now Smile x

sundayraspberry · 18/03/2016 18:48

Hi elderberries congratulations on your bfp, it's always so nice to see people move over from the MC threads Smile

And lovely to hear you enjoying your little one dobby, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling! Especially as people often want to tell you the bad bits more than the positive.

Really pleased you are doing a bit better keys don't try and do too much tho x

Sorry to hear about spotting goulash and cockles hope the weekend passes quickly without any more bleeding Flowers

eastend can I ask when you are supposed to get a pattern to movements? And how you knew to get checked out? I'm just confused as mine are regular in the evening but a bit erratic during the day at the moment. I'm not too worried as I think it depends on how much room baby has in there at the time!

Congratulations on the baby boy Sophia!

economymode · 18/03/2016 19:05

Hi all, and welcome elderberries. I'm 5+3 today and waiting to hear if the hospital will give me the early scan my gp requested. I'm a bit rubbish at updating but am keeping track of everyone. We're also in the process of selling the house, so at least that is something to keep my mind off this. I've been feeling a bit light headed the past few days, like my limbs aren't really connected to my body. Not sure if it's a symptom or just the virus that is going round my son's class. Also really really tired.

goulash how are you doing? Hang in there...

Eastend2015 · 18/03/2016 22:18

Sunday I'm pretty much the same as you (quiet during the day then a reasonable amount of activity in the evening) then tues and weds this week I had the baby pretty much constantly kicking in the same spot, then Thursday and today, much less and softer movements. They are "supposed" to be in some sort of pattern by 25/26 weeks and I'm 26+4 so given the change I gave my hospital a call and the midwife was quite reassuring and said the placenta is still bigger than the baby at this stage and so if the baby moves behind the placenta it can cushion feeling movements. Anyway she said I could go in if I wanted to but before 28 weeks they just use a Doppler not the full monitors on screen and they got a lovely strong heartbeat so glad I went in, it beats worrying!!

CocklesandMussels · 19/03/2016 07:56

Good news east so lovely to hear a heartbeat. goulash I hope everything has settled down for you. No more spotting here, I'm starting to feel very sick and exhausted. Unfortunately I'm at work this weekend, I'm on my way in now sitting on a full train, the woman opposite me is making a wet slurping noise every few seconds. It's making me queasy. Urgh!

JoMalones · 19/03/2016 11:43

Hello. Tentatively saying hello. I only got my BFP on Thursday and AF not due yet. Hyper paranoid as had some cramps on Thursday and today I feel awful with a really bad cold/beginning of flu. I'm not feeling v confident, my MMC was in December but was still having issues through to February due to complications after the surgery. Desperately hoping this one is ok, will try to have a scan at 7w and harmony at 10w.

obsessedlex · 19/03/2016 16:46

Yayyyyyy jo that's such great news!! I'm thrilled for you - keep positive love, this is your time - eeeek so great to see you here, that's made my day!!!! Xx

JoMalones · 19/03/2016 17:44

Oh thank you lex! Lovely to see you on here and to be on a pregnancy post again with you! How are you feeling?

obsessedlex · 19/03/2016 18:14

I'm good -10 +5 I think - saw a healthy heartbeat at 8 w bang on track with my dates - still v anxious but I don't think that will ever go away!! Got my 12 week scan date on 4th April. This of had been very different to last, not a spot of bleeding, dates bang on and been feeling rotten, sore boobs and tiredness so all good!! Sickness snd boobies seem to be a bit intermittent now but that appears normal on here. Seem to be similar to northern in that way Which is comforting.
This is a great group such super ladies, so supportive.
Xx

JoMalones · 19/03/2016 18:55

Oh that's great news! I know I will be looking this time to make sure I'm measuring the right size and not too much fluid as on reflection those should have been signs at the first scan. Will hopefully have a scan at 7+ and if all ok will do a harmony test and scan at 11w.
Not long until your 12w scan! We are on holiday then but will try to check in xx

Threefaries · 19/03/2016 22:40

Hello to all the new people and congratulations on your pregnancies. Hoping for lots of sticky babies on this thread.

Keys, I'm delighted with your update. Your doing amazing, baby keys stay put and keep on growing.

I just bought a first outfit for my baby today. I hope I'm not being a bit too optimistic at doing this but it feels nice to choose something for it. I may have hurdles ahead and it doesn't help that I feel this baby move so much less than my others.

GoulashSoup · 20/03/2016 11:45

Hi all, thanks for the hand holding. Not good news here I'm afraid. I will shuffle back across to the miscarriage threads but hope to join you all again here soon. I really hope I have used up some of the bad luck leaving lots of good luck for you all to have healthy pregnancies. Take care and look after each other.

chandelierswinging · 20/03/2016 12:12

Flowers Goulash So sorry to read your sad news. Thinking of you and also hoping to see you back here soon.

CocklesandMussels · 20/03/2016 13:41

*Goulash I'm so sorry to read that. I hope all goes well for you and that you're back on this board with happier news very soon Flowers
