Massive congratulations Boozle and beautiful name. And such a good weight!

Womb so glad it has all stopped now. Fingers crossed for the next few weeks.

I am still breech at 37 1/2 weeks so I have been booked in for an elcs on 8th July. I just hope the baby stays put until then!

Nousername2015 · 25/06/2015 16:40

Thanks for the insights brickie and gojo. I had no idea there was such a hormone shift around this time and that could definitely explain it.

purple 8th July sounds so soon, how exciting! Hope it stays put also for you.

dobbythedoggy · 25/06/2015 16:46

Hoping to join you lovely ladies.

Very tentivly addmitting to myself that I am actually pregnant straight after mc at 5 weeks the end of May. Not much to say at the moment, happy to say I feel very diffrent from the pregancy that I mc, a lot more like I did when pregnant with dd. I'd forgotten it was possiable to produce sooo much silva!

I had promised myself that I wouldn't poas until I was potentially past 5 weeks, but yesterday decided I had to know and got 3 bfp, 2 more since then. From a little research last night I think I'm 4 weeks by when I ovulated and 4 weeks 2 days from first red blood with mc.

I've booked an appointment for next friday with my gp, his on yet another holiday until then! I think our hospital epau's policy will be to offer an early scan so need him to refure me. Also want to see if I can book in sooner than 8 weeks with the midwife, the lovely one I had with dd is still based at the surgery, I think talking to her would be really calming and reassuring.

I kind of don't want to do much for the next couple of weeks and trying to rest as much as possiable. I had a very busy and physically active few days right before mc started. I want to keep dd's routine with toddler groups but think I will try to limit us to one outting a day. Trying to spend plently of time sat resting and doing things that need to be done in short bursts. Lots of cuddling on the sofa today anyway as dd is feeling rotten with an ear infection.

Congratulations Boozle!! Such a beautiful name!

bluewisteria · 25/06/2015 17:48

Sorry I haven't said hello much, been feeling utterly appalling with nausea. I had hyperemesis with DD1 and I'm starting to feel pretty ropey again, yuk!!

Treaclepie19 · 25/06/2015 18:39

Eeek!!! Congrats Boozle, what lovely news :)
Enjoy those newborn snuggles x

Hi everyone,

I would really like to join here now that I'm sure I'm pregnant! I'm 11+1 today and my due date is 13th Jan 2016. I had a missed miscarriage at 6 weeks (found out at 8 week scan) and surgical management in April of this year, and apparently caught pregnant around 2/3 weeks later (no AF in-between). This baby seems to be hanging on in there...I had a scan at 10 weeks and it seemed healthy with a good heartbeat. I don't really know whether I can relax at this stage, but I've told people that I'm pregnant as even if something goes wrong, it's nice to feel this baby is real as opposed to something I never talked about, if you see what I mean :).

Congratulations to everyone who has had babies and caught pregnant on the thread so far - I haven't had chance to read through it all but it seems there are a LOT of wonderful rainbow babies born here. Hopefully mine will be one of them!

Catinajar · 25/06/2015 19:08

Oh and stats wise, I'm 30 with no DC. x

thesmallbear · 25/06/2015 19:11

Welcome dobbythedoggy and Catinajar. Here's hoping your stays are long and uneventful.

You're welcome BumbleBee.

Nousername2015 · 25/06/2015 19:22

Welcome dobby and cat, pleased to hear things are going well so far.

Gr33dyeggs · 25/06/2015 19:39

Woohoo and Congrats on your pink bundle boozle. What a lovely name!

Welcome dobby&cat.

I've had an afternoon in triage! Yesterday I was really wet so much so I was worried my waters were leaking (only 21+6). Went to midwife today who sent me to hospital. Baby sounds fine on doppler and been moving but I've got bv (again). Scared as this was involved in my last miscarriage but glad all seems ok atm and that I'm getting treatment. And glad that I'm not (yet) incontinent which was the other option !

brickiemum2 · 25/06/2015 19:56

Welcome cat we're due date buddies at the minute (all changes after the dating scans lol) I also had an mmc (feb)
You could also come join us on the due in January thread if you fancy?

cavamonster · 25/06/2015 23:02

Congratulations Boozle...beautiful name!

Zeuxippe · 26/06/2015 10:23

Congratulations boozle on the birth of Mhairi! Wonderful news SmileFlowers

Hello to catinajar and dobby - best of luck with your pregnancies.

Womb I'm so pleased to hear the spotting has stopped Smile

Happy I hope the work situation isn't too dreadful. Is there still a chance you'll be able to keep your job? All back office posts where I work (including mine) are currently being reviewed and we 're expecting a load of redundancies to be announced at the start of August. It's really crap timing as I won't even have qualified for SMP by that point! Thinking of you x

Littlelady33 · 26/06/2015 10:35

Welcome dobby and cat. So many babies and so many lovely new faces on the thread! And Boozle such a beautiful name for your little girl enormous congratulations! 36wks tomorrow and due to spend a sunny weekend indoors at NCT class (all day Sat and Sun) - as a First timer I must admit I'm very excited - I know that there's so much I don't know!

broodylicious · 26/06/2015 16:00

Big congrats boozle. Truly delighted for you and your beautiful rainbow baby Smile

36+4 here. Fed up now, especially with this heat. Hardly slept a wink last night. Forecast is for 33 degrees on Wednesday! Feet in ice bucket time too, as they're so puffy they're as big as an elephants! Yuk.

cherrylola · 26/06/2015 16:03

Ooh next time there's a stat update my DS had a birthday and is now 2!!!

thesmallbear · 26/06/2015 16:29

It's predicted to be 28 degrees on my due date Shock Hospitals are the temperature of the sun at the best of times!

Littlelady33 · 26/06/2015 17:39

I'm not loving this bloody heat but the one good thing about still being in an office from 8am - 6pm is that we have lovely aircon. I'm still wearing tights!

Catinajar · 26/06/2015 18:07

BrickieMum2 - I will check that thread out immediately! I thought I might be too early to join a due date thread, but why wait, I suppose?! And congratulations on your pregnancy...I suppose we're getting far enough in now to relax a TINY bit :).

Dobby - Congratulations on your pregnancy...I know that it takes a bit of time to sink in when you get pregnant straight after MC, but it does happen more than I thought. In fact when I saw my doctor about it, she said that it happened to her, and she carried a perfectly healthy baby to term. However, don't be surprised if someone at the EPAU isn't sure it's possible - I had an OB at my EPU tell me that I couldn't POSSIBLY be pregnant again so soon after my MMC and it must be retained tissue (there followed a scan where a perfectly healthy 7 week 4 day old embryo proved him very wrong!). So, don't be upset or surprised if people tell you you're wrong. YOU know you are pregnant. Also, don't be surprised if you're further along than you think - I was already pregnant 2.5 weeks after my D and C and had NO idea. Just my experience, but I'm so pleased for you :)

I cannot imagine being third trimester in this HEAT. It's bad enough being a tiny bit pregnant with no bump at all. Littlelady33 - I know what you mean about the air-con, ours at work makes the place like a freezer and it's GREAT.

I'm having a private scan in the morning just to check everything is ok as I had a mild breakdown last night after I couldn't find a heartbeat on my newly bought doppler (I have since been told multiple times by wonderful people on here that it's FAR TOO SOON to be concerned about that at 11+2 but you know what it's like after a MMC). I also had a LOT of very strange stabbing pain in my crotch area which was pretty awful.

I've had no bleeding at all, symptoms are all still there and the pain is gone, but I'm keeping the appointment as I've paid a £30 deposit and it's always good to see baby.

Keep me in your thoughts, I'll post an update when I have one tomorrow

Gem xx

Littlelady33 · 26/06/2015 18:29

Good luck tomorrow cat! 11wks is definitely too early for a home Doppler but completely understand what you mean about the worry.

gingerbreadmam · 26/06/2015 19:37

stabbing pains in the crotch are known as fanny daggers on mn Grin ive had them loads from early on and am currently 23+2 so assume theyre a good sign.

Baguettes · 26/06/2015 20:04

cat step away from the Doppler! There are reasons midwives don't recommend them for home use and why the heartbeat is only listened to at 16 weeks, earliest.

ginger how the fuck are you 23+2 already?! Wow! How are you feeling?

charlieis30 · 26/06/2015 20:15

boozle Just saw your news how exciting! Congratulations Grin

I'm 36+1 and getting a bit over it all. I've been really lucky and had a pretty comfortable pregnancy (at least post 20w when I finally relaxed a bit) but it's all starting to get a bit sore and REAL. Finally thinking about birth plans and such!
