amyy I don't know if this helps but I find the mornings where I've managed to eat some semblance of dinner the night before, I feel a lot less sick. The mornings that I haven't been able to stomach dinner the night before I feel sick as a dog. So it could be that eating the bar helped.

Amyyy27 · 11/04/2015 14:56

Thanks genni i think you are right! I am just a total annoying worrier!

wispywoo1 · 11/04/2015 15:07

I haven't told them yet. Definitely waiting til 12+ weeks. I'm going in next week to do paperwork. Feel awful keeping it from them though. I've spoken to my current line manager and she said there isn't much they can do. Hopefully they appreciate the fact that I'm sacrificing my enhanced maternity pay for maternity allowance just to take the job.

How has everyone hidden the fact that they're not drinking these days? I'm going to an engagement party tonight and I hope they don't realise my vodka & lemonade is actually just lemonade!

Amyyy27 · 11/04/2015 15:22

wispy thats my thoughts too! Oh and regarding drinking.. you could either drive and noone can question you! Or you may find that noone even notices as its impossible to know there is no vodka unless they try it for themselves. Is anyone likely to buy rounds in? That would be the hardest part!

Wow Sasha! What a lot to take in. Hopefully all goes well for the 3 of you it would be great to have such close support in RL

wispywoo1 · 11/04/2015 16:07

Sasha I'm in a similar situation. Work friend's due day before me. I'm terrified she will get a baby and I won't. Must be even worse when it's a close friend/family etc. Hopefully it works out well for everyone and you get to enjoy mat leave together!

Barbiedoll79 · 11/04/2015 17:57

Hi all - for that that have pm'd me your details I've sent you a friend request so I can add you to the group as it's set up as secret so ok one can find it. My name is Pippa Campbell and my profile pic is of my daughter in a minnie mouse apron and cooking hat x

Glenpip77 · 11/04/2015 20:28

Amyyy - that's good news, but lousy that you have to feel so bad for some reassurance....hope you are not too bad with it again.

chasingtherainbow · 11/04/2015 22:59

Thanks for sorting the group Glenpip!

I hope you don't mind but I thought we could readd as friends a bit further down the line when we all know each other a little better too. X

Glenpip77 · 11/04/2015 23:12

Hi chasing - sounds like a sensible idea. I've unfriended everyone after I've added you to the fb group - nothing personal but I'm sure you don't want someone you don't really know seeing all your posts Smile x

Gr33dyeggs · 12/04/2015 07:57

My workplace is full of pregnancies - 6 that have announced ranging from 14 to 20 weeks and myself and another at 11 and 7 weeks. And another rumoured to be! It would make for nice mat leave if everything works out.

I can't remember who said they had had some cramping, but I had that a couple of weeks ago and managed to get a scan which was fine. So it looks like pain can be a good thing too.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 12/04/2015 08:01

My tummy is very unhappy today. Keep having to rush to the loo Sad Sad

Amyyy27 · 12/04/2015 08:09

HariboBrenshnio · 12/04/2015 08:36

I got my BFP! Due 17th of December as long as it's a sticky bean Grin

How have you all been? Any 12 week scan news yet? Can't remember how far along you all are.

HariboBrenshnio · 12/04/2015 08:39

My stats are age 25, DS born Oct 13, MMC Oct 14, currently 4+3 with new bean.

Amyyy27 · 12/04/2015 08:50

Yay Haribo!!! Congrats Grin

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 12/04/2015 08:50

Hi Haribo! Congratulations! How are you? No 12 week scans yet although some of us have had early scans. I'm 9 weeks now and scan isn't for another 4 weeks.

OP posts:
HariboBrenshnio · 12/04/2015 08:52

I spent most of yesterday morning crying. Just so overwhelmed it happened. We were having a month 'off' trying but something happened and it worked! It's felt like the longest 6 months of my life but I'm optimistic it's a sticky one.

How are you all?
9 weeks is a good mile stone! Only 3 away until your next trimester.

chasingtherainbow · 12/04/2015 09:19

Haribo!! It's so good to see you here! Huge congratulations!

9weeks tomo for me. Had a good scan at 6+3..

Amyyy27 · 12/04/2015 09:27

9+2 here and had private scan at 8 weeks, all was well.

HariboBrenshnio · 12/04/2015 09:30

I'm going to book a private scan for 7 weeks. Where they worth it?

Amyyy27 · 12/04/2015 09:37

I had mine with Babybond and cannot speak higher of them! Amazing!
