Mine definitely gave me reassurance. Although I ended up with additional anxiety due to finding out it is twins.

Oh MsJ. I don't know what to say. It's just so very unfair. I would go to epu tomorrow and if it is a mc, demand an erpc. Then at least you won't have to go through the physical bit. I found erpc much easier than mc naturally (I did both).

Thanks. I am not quite sure what to do for the best. Our EPU will only see you through GP or A&E so I guess I'll have to see how things progress today. I might have to let my mum know what's going on, I've tried to avoid giving her any worry after going through it with my sister so recently so I haven't told her I'm pg.

I really thought that little tug yesterday was a positive sign but I guess maybe it was the opposite.

Aww MsJ so sorry you are having to go through all of this. With my mc i called 111 on a sunday and got an app with emergency doc same day who was able to book scan a day or 2 later. Thinking of you x

Welcome to the group haribo I am 9 weeks, had a scan at 6+5 at EPU and got a private one next Monday. 12 week scan booked for first week of May. Do I recognise you from the TTC buses?

I'm not going to join the FB group just yet, but would like to join if I get to the 12 weeks scan with no issues. Hope that is ok, but I'm just stupidly and irrationally scared of tempting fate.

I have my booking in tomorrow. No idea what to expect, I'm guessing it's just loads of questions and to give me my pack?

Gen - I was some TTC boards yes! Not in the last month or so though. Sounds very reassuring having all those scans.

Booking in is pretty boring. Just lots of paper work about your medical history, weighing you and taking blood. Nothing to worry about!

Mrs j - so sorry your going through this x. With my first MC I went to a&e, and after a bit of a wait was checked by an obstetrician and booked into EPU for a scan the following morning....might be a bit quicker than waiting for the docs. FX it is not what you fear it is. Xx

Thanks, yes I'll call the GP in the morning unless the bleeding gets very bad. They do most of their appts on the day so if I call at 8.29 I should get one. Otherwise I'll ask for a call back. It's usually a pretty helpful practice. I just hope I can get seen by EPU quickly and find out one way or another what's going on.

The blood has gone back to being browner but I am not feeling very hopeful. At least it's the weekend so I have been able to rest up and read to take my mind off things.

Hope you have all had some sunshine to enjoy today. Thank you for the support.

ms heya hun so sorry to hear your worrying. I dont know if this is much of a reassurance but I had a bad bleed on Wednesday thought it was over especially as no hb was detected on scan day before. Hospital told me to go home and rest and come back next friday for my scan. I said no you need to take bloods because if I am m/c I need to know I am so i can get my head around it. They took bloods was over 7000 took urine hcg level really high. So went back 2 days later my blood tripled. Today i took a clear blue came up pregnant still and 3+weeks. I feel like rubbish today so sick all day.

Still really nervous however for scan next friday.

Heya everyone can anyone tell me if theve experienced a really bad dull pain in the top part of the right tummy feels so weird never felt it before.

Sasha - I'll have everything crossed for a good scan. They are so much scarier after MC.
£100 well spent I think and we'll be doing the same.

Hope your doctor can see you early doors Mrs J and get you down to the EPU quickly. I hope the bleeding stopping is positive. How many weeks are you? I read something about a 6ish week bleed being normal as its when the egg really pushes into the womb lining and some falls away.

Thanks Haribo and keys. I had a bleed 3 weeks ago and had a scan at EPU where we saw a hb. They said it was measuring 6w - I should have been at least 6w5, but they said it was hard to be accurate at that stage. They could see where the bleed was coming from and said it was consistent with implantation.

So I'm now about 9w which is when I had the last mc. I had seen a hb at 6w then too after a similar bleed.

I guess there is a chance it could be some more blood from before, but I wouldn't expect it to be red. I don't know, I just have a really bad feeling about it all. No symptoms, bleeding, it just doesn't seem right.

Its so hard hun and you dont want to go for a scan because you dont want to believe it or break down in the hospital. I remember going for my scan with m/c being told there was nothing there was so heartbroken.
You have to try an stay positive hun because people do bleed through pregnancy. If youve already had a scan can u call the EPU explain and ask for another one?
I am thinking of you hun and im keeping everything crossed for you xxx

Ah. It seems to be getting worse. Lots of blood. Hopefully it will hold overnight so I can get some sleep and deal with it tomorrow.
