GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 10/04/2015 18:03

Sorry everyone is feeling so grim. It's hard to function like this isn't it? For most of us, it will get better really soon though! Fingers crossed.

Barbiedoll79 · 10/04/2015 18:48

Scan update:
Had scan today and bitter sweet
One of our babies is measuring spot on saw the heartbeat etx but No longer having twins as one appears to have stopped growing 2 days after the scan which told us there was two ?? can't begin to describe how selfish I feel grieving for one when k still have one growing as it should but can't help but feel sooo emotional and now all I am doing is worrying that I will lose both :-(

Sorry to bring such crap news to the group x

Glenpip77 · 10/04/2015 18:57

Barbie, really sorry to hear that. Don't think of yourself as selfish at all - it would be a lot to take in for anyone. FX that your other little one is a fighter xx

Sorry everyone is feeling so lousy - the first 12 weeks is a nightmare sometimes. So far I've missed any nausea, but I'm only 6+4 so I'm not counting chickens yet!

Amyyy27 · 10/04/2015 18:58

barbie please dont apologise hun you have nothing to be sorry for.

Can i first say i am so so sorry you have lost one of your babies. It is totally normal to grieve for that baby you must be heartbroken. Dont feel guilty Flowers i hope you can gain some comfort from the fact your other baby is growing well but i know that might take you some time. So be kind to yourself and we are all here for you x

Gr33dyeggs · 10/04/2015 19:11

Sorry for the loss of one of your little ones barbie Flowers. Will you be getting monitored or another scan to see how everything continues to progress?

I'm sorry Barbie. This is something I fear too. One of mine was measuring slightly smaller at my 7 week scan so it is a possibility. It's bound to be complicated. It's ok to feel sad for the one you have lost while feeling happy for the one who is still growing. Thanks Thanks

barbie I am so so sorry to hear of your loss. It's not bad to grieve you have to huni it was still your little bean. I'm thinking of you at this really hard big hugs hun. The other little ones seems like a strong littler fighter I'm sure everything will be ok there. Are they going to scan you again?
I know how you feel about feeling nervous since not seeing my LO'S heartbeat on TUesday I'm a nervous wreck counting the days down until my next scan :(.

sasha sounds like me and you are in the same boat expect I thought I was further along on my scan on Tuesday they said I was around 5 weeks 4 days no hertbeat detected but everything in the right place and blood levels etc really strong. I bet you can't wait until Monday.

amyyy so sorry your feeling rubbish. Luckily so far I'm missing lots of horrible symtoms but I'm still early so could hit any time.

Everyone else I hope your all ok and sickness not to bad. Xxxx

fromwesttoeast · 10/04/2015 19:51

Sorry for your loss Barbie.
Every pregnancy is such a step into the unknown. We risk all our emotions as we may go through, joy, grief, anxiety, hope, desperation, fear, excitement or any combination of these. It's always going to be life changing in one way or another, you never know what you are going to get. Flowers
Your other little one seems to be doing well. Which is good news.

chasingtherainbow · 10/04/2015 20:07

Oh Barbie. I'm really so sorry to hear one little pip hasn't made it. You should allow yourself to feel all the emotions that flow and grieve all you need to. Congratulations on healthy bean xx

Sorry to add such a grim thing here but anyone on subsequent pregnancies having pelvic floor ishoos? I'm wretching so hard over the loo I'm soaking my knickers. .. I'm only 23! Feel like an old lady.

Barbiedoll79 · 10/04/2015 22:14

Thanks for all your kind messages and support... And for making me feel ok to grieve

Will pop in again soon but gonna have some rest now- been an exhausting day lol.

Chasing I am 25 and since having my lg 3 years ago have had terrible issues, your gp can refer you and really focus on them pelvic floor exercises (stop wee and a pop at the same time and lift up without tummy coming up)

Barbiedoll79 · 10/04/2015 22:16

Ps re scan in 2 weeks tomorrow but just to confirm that it isn't growing (sac is collapsing so they've told us it's just procedural) and that he other little one is ok and to see if it has been absorbed (which is the better option as May bleed otherwise)

onefootinthebed · 10/04/2015 23:35

Barbie sorry for you loss xx

Amyy what if we all get together and start wishing for November ,it might work !!! Wishful thinking aye, sorry your still poorly .

Can I ask a random question you know the clear blue that date your pregnancy how many weeks does that go upto? I just had a scary though that my boobs are acheing coz I'm wearing the wrong bra.

I'm so busy in work I don't get time to think about my boob issues just when I'm coming to bed.

keys27 · 11/04/2015 06:43

barbie again Hun really sorry for your loss I couldn't stop thinking about you last night my heart really went out to you :(.

chasing I'm not really in your situation yet Hun as only experiencing nausea however I get the problem every time I sneeze it's so embarrassing. I did read that yoga or Pilates one of them is really meant to help that tummy muscle when pregnant might be worth googling it and getting the DVD. Hopefully once your sickness stops it will stop completely for you Hun. Your midwife maybe able to offer some advice aswell. The joys of pregnancy ay I remember being pregnant with my first DD and all dignity went out the window lets just say I was very gassy haha.

one the clear blue digital goes upto 3+ makes you around the 5 week mark as soon as you get that reading but goes up no further. Think it's 1-2 weeks = 2-3 pregnant 2-3 weeks = 4-5 weeks pregnant and 3+ is 5 weeks and over then stops Hun. However my midwife said these tests are so unreliable to certain women and send them into panic. I remember in last pregnancy tKing one said 3+ weeks then took another one to keep checking urine strength 3 days later it came up 2-3 weeks as you can imagine I worried myself senseless. All was fine though Hun. My boobies didn't start getting sore until a few days Go and even now there not really that sore but I don't think would be your bra Hun don't forget though they do get bigger lol.

Anyone else have really strong symptoms in the day then when wake up the e gone and strt worrying? Yesterday couldn't stand coffee this morning I'm ok. Also boobs were sore yesterday today there fine. This is definetly worst than the 2ww especially if you've had a m/c in the past.

Roll on November as you all say if all ok I'm due around 29th November. It's made to think we will all have new additions before Xmas and were already in April. Have a good day ladies xxx

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 11/04/2015 06:46

Those digital tests go up to 3+ so that's 5+ weeks pregnant. I think they're quite inaccurate though!

Re. Pelvic floor. I did leak a lot during my pregnancy with dd. I religiously did pf exercises every day throughout and after giving birth my pelvic floor was stronger than ever. I think leaking during pregnancy might be more to do with the pressure on your bladder than a weak pelvic floor.

I would recommend doing the exercises though. My pushing stage was only 10 minutes and I didn't need any stitches. Of course it is more likely to be just luck, but if there is the slightest chance those exercises helped, it's worth doing!

Gr33dyeggs · 11/04/2015 06:59

Sorry no advice re leakage chasing. I struggled getting ds out and the mw suggested it was because I had strong pelvic floor. At the time I remember saying I wouldn't have done the exercises if I'd have known! I have friends who haven't had children who have weak pelvic floor. I hope it resolves anyway!

I've woken up with a sore throat. Gutted. I wanted to go back to work Monday all healthy. Apparently my manager is waiting for an announcement from me. I hate that after a mc means you can't keep your secret without suspicion.
barbie I think resting sounds the best plan and take each day at a time.

Gr33dyeggs · 11/04/2015 07:41

I think I am going mad. Im sure i can feel fluttering in my tummy. It is too early for this isn't it? It doesn't feel like wind though Blush. I'm lying still on my side if that makes any difference?

chasingtherainbow · 11/04/2015 07:52

Greedy how far along are you now?

I didn't feel dd till 20 weeks but my friends have all felt no2 by 10-13 weeks.

I'm 8+5 today and felt 2 small sudden 'kicks' yesterday. It's probably uterine twitching but I think it's possible to feel them v early. I've never experienced fluttering..

chasingtherainbow · 11/04/2015 07:53

However a nerve in my hand has been going constantly since yesterday, even woke me up last night. Makes my little finger and outside of my palm twitch. I don't like it!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 11/04/2015 07:57

I felt dd at 16 weeks I think.

OP posts:
Gr33dyeggs · 11/04/2015 08:02

I'm 11+1. So it could be I guess. It's like tickling/ stroking on the inside!

I think a stats thing might be useful now. I understand we may not want our due dates on, but how about weeks?

But I always post from mobile so not sure I can do 1?

Anyway Gr33dyeggs 34. Baby #2 11+1. MC 1, '08@ 9 wks. DS '09 (6). MC 2, '14@ 11wks.
