Hi everyone,

First post here but wondering if this is a place for me?

4w pregnant, had a mc in October. I'm delighted, but obviously being very cautious...

Amyyy27 · 21/04/2015 08:10

Morning juggling. Congratulations!

I'm 10+1 and extremely nervous. I feel like I'm playing a part... my bump is there and we talk about when the baby comes.. I'm sick and I know I've seen the baby.. but it doesn't feel real and for ex. I just uploaded a little pic of my dd cuddling my bump to my instagram and then almost immediately was like... what If it's not there anymore/not growing/ etc.

We have plans and holidays booked and everyone says stuff like you'll be x amount if weeks then and I say yes but really I can't imagine it actually being so.

I don't feel like anything is wrong. I just kind of feel like. . Unsure of anything.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 21/04/2015 10:06

I haven't even got a bump

Welcome juggling! There is this thread and another posivifrikinity or similar, with ladies from bfp through to popping!

I'm struggling to hide my bump now! Baggy jumper all the way. I would be happier waiting until all the blood results are back until announcing.

chasing I veer from excitement, panic and fear.

gennibugs · 21/04/2015 11:38

Welcome juggling. you'll find plenty of support here.

I have a bump but if I'm honest I think it's more bloat than baby!! I'm just wearing lots of big scarves to disguise it - I'm permanently freezing anyway at the moment.

Barbiedoll79 · 21/04/2015 12:49

Hi juggling congratulations :-) x

Barbiedoll79 · 21/04/2015 12:50

Just a quick one just sat eating my lunch and realised I've had no symptoms for a week- this is how mmc happened at 8 weeks previously

I should now be 10 weeks exactly I have a scan sat to check everything as lost one of the twins at 6+4 (found out at 8 weeks + 5)

Anyone else not got symptoms at this point or should I still have some? X

Amyyy27 · 21/04/2015 15:32

Think i am getting the start of a bump but same as genni i think its more bloat!

barbie i think the placenta takes over fron about 9 weeks so you can lose some symptoms, try not to worry! My sickness has started to get better in fact a lot better today .. i dodnt know whether to worrybor be relieved haha x

chasingtherainbow · 21/04/2015 15:48

I've got a naturally round tum post dd so although it's clearly not baby, it's quite obvious already!

Barbiedoll79 · 21/04/2015 16:02

Thank smyyyy that's a relief! Will keep everything crossed for sat then lol :-)

Glad you're starting to feel better- it's sad we should all be enjoying this and yet even when feeling better we panic x

gennibugs · 21/04/2015 16:08

Yes I think many people start to feel better around 9-10 weeks. I'm still struggling with nausea at 10+4 but my sore boobs and extreme tiredness seem to have eased a lot. So I think it's quite common. I would say don't worry - but I know that we can't help ourselves!

amyy glad you are hopefully starting to feel a bit better.

Amyyy27 · 21/04/2015 16:21

Oops just noticed all the spelling errors sorry!

Ahh thanks everyone, i do hope this is it! I have been super emotional today everything has made me cry, especially having my first proper dinner in god knows how long! Is anyone else very emotional?

Yes still worried barbie i have a feeling we are all going to worry right the way through!

Just had a read through maternity notes and they have gone off my LMP and put me at 11 weeks today instead of 10+4... hope that means i get my scan asap (fx for end of next week!!)

northdownmummy · 21/04/2015 16:51

Oh yes amyyy I have past form for crazy pregnancy emotions but seems to be staring earlier this time.
Last night I started blubbering cause I'd forgotten to put frozen fruit on the Tesco order. Despite the fact that I could easily go in and update it. My forgetfulness really annoys me as I'm usually a super organiEd person.

The next 6 months should be fun Grin

Amyyy27 · 21/04/2015 16:56

Oh north im sorry but had a good giggle at that! Grin very fun 6 months! Our poor OHs!

chasingtherainbow · 21/04/2015 17:00

My nausea is better through the day but still bad late afternoon/evening. I think im less tired during the day tho still having 8 pm bedtimes as i'm just a grizzly mess.

Still waiting to hear about my 12 w scan!

Amyyy27 · 21/04/2015 17:24

Aww same here chasing no fun at all is it :(

jugglingmonkey · 21/04/2015 17:33

Thanks for the welcome everyone- sounds like a great group so I'll join you for the anxious ride ahead! I think I'll be okay if I can get to 8 weeks for a viability scan.

Have a nice evening everyone - I'm catching up on masterchef!
