Another thread for the lovely ladies who are pregnant after miscarriage :)

Haha Sunbathing, I completely agree.
Don't get me wrong, DH and i earn enough for it not to be a problem but we are struggling for money as we're finishing paying off our wedding before baby comes.
Like you say, I would happily sacrifice many things to afford a scan for reassurance.

I understand it's not for everyone and yes it may not help me for long but that is my choice!
Anywho, bump has popped out and that's making me smile :)

I've had a peak as well Treacle. As for DeladionInch's comment - well what a fucking bitch quite frankly. Makes me glad I never joined and antenatal thread and just post here.

Must be something about September ante-natal threads - the one I was briefly on last year had some right idiots on it too! Ignore, ignore, ignore.

Treaclepie19 · 02/04/2015 19:16

Thank you all xxx
I'm fine, it takes a lot more to upset me even with pregnancy hormones :)
Feel better knowing you all agree with me though.

Exciting that you're having your 4d scan this weekend sunbathing :)

I've just turned down the dinner dh has cooked even though he didn't want it and only did it because I wanted it.
Now I have no dinner and he's had double of something he didn't want :p

OP posts:
StickChildNumberTwo · 02/04/2015 19:27

I reckon I could eat your dinner for you if DH doesn't want it Treacle - what is it?

I've always avoided the monthly antenatal threads, partly because I'd never keep up and partly because I suspect I'd end up throwing things at the computer about one thing or another. Not pregnancy hormones, just cos I'm a grumpy cow.

Nap was achieved (fortunately with alarm set or the small one would've been left at nursery!) but now I want another one....

Haha I'm a grumpy cow too, and very augmentative :p

Sorry ladies, DH ate it :p
It was honey and mustard chicken with carrots and rice.
He's now gone to cook me a boiled egg with soldiers. Poor love.

I'm not bossing him around, he wants me to rest :p

They normally say cold fizzy drinks and chocolate don't they sunbathing?
Can't be much help, sorry :(

No, it's defo not you, treacle!

metal, you're right, some of those people on last september's AN thread were complete Tossers. No feelings whatsoever and a few were very very harsh in the things they said to me when I mc.

sunbathing, how exciting for your scan! Hope she moves well for you this time. Have you noticed a pattern (timings wise) when she's most active? Is your scan booked in for that kinda time? I find if I lean back without lying down, my bubs goes crazy, so maybe worth trying some different positions to see if that gets her going? The sonographer at my 20 week scan had me lying facing her then away from her to try and get the best views, so there's options hopefully?

Had my scan this afternoon and all good. Measuring slightly ahead at 10+3 and we got to listen to the heartbeat which was wonderful.

They're going to transfer me to under a consultant due to issues with my last delivery. Anyone know what's different between consultant led and midwife led care?

fififolle · 03/04/2015 17:41

I've had a bit of a wobble today, I'm 7+6 as so far so good ....but I've noticed a tiny amount of brown spotting on wiping. I'm trying to stay calm but really hope that things aren't goung wrong.

fififolle · 03/04/2015 17:41

*going

northdownmummy · 03/04/2015 17:54

fifi I had quitea bit of spotting& brown discharge resulting in 2 trips to the EPU. But just had a healthy 10 week scan

I know how scary it is, can you get an EPU scan?

fififolle · 03/04/2015 18:10

north I'm trying to stay calm and will see what happens over the next 24hrs. We're at my parents this weekend and haven't yet told them I'm pg- but are about to. I've looked up the number for the nearest EPU and have saved the screen just in case. I'm hanging on to the statistic that 2 MCs in a row is super rare.

Excellent news north.

Sorry to hear about the spotting fifi. Sounds like the sort of thing you wouldn't even notice if you weren't obsessively checking (which of course I never do, oh no!) so I hope it turns out to be that insignificant. Hope the telling your parents is helpful - do they know about the mc?

fififolle · 03/04/2015 18:47

Yes they do know about the MC stick. You are completely right about the obsessiveness too Blush.

Great news north, fantastic :)

Fifi, as the ladies have said spitting is common. Doesn't make it any less scary though.
Sending hugs.

I've overdone it today. Spent the day sorting out the Nursery (emptying it basically) and then sewing on my sewing machine so now I'm lying still and cramping.
Don't know why I did so much, I knew I'd cramp and worry.

Stupid auto correct!

OP posts:
fififolle · 03/04/2015 19:33

Thank you for all the reassurance, this really is a great group to be a part of. The daft thing is that I has some spotting at 7 weeks with DS, is just that I've become much more paranoid since my MMC.
I'm convinced that all will be good with this pregnancy. The spotting just made me have a bit of a wobble.
